Chapter 55: A Miracle

Vincent arrived at his house. Turning off the car, he adjusted Ashlyn's head to rest on the passenger seat. He got out of the car, walked around to the passenger side, and opened the door.

Looking at the sleeping princess in front, he carried her up gently and closed the door before walking towards his house.

Immediately he got to the door, the door opened and Vincent walked into his house.

"Welcome back Sir," Robert said holding the door wide open while standing at the side and Vincent nodded in response without stopping in his steps.

Noticing the familiar person Vincent was carrying, Robert immediately asked. "Sir, is she all right? Did she pass out again?" He was a bit concerned.

"She's all right. She's only drunk." Vincent replied and ascended the stairs. Getting to the door of the same room he had put Ashlyn the last time, he opened it and entered before closing it with a light push from his back leg and moving towards the bed.
