Chapter 41: Old friend

Vincent had cleaned his tears after crying to his full content. He felt a little bit better from all the pain he has been bottling in. Removing the drawing, he rolled it and kept it on the desk. He took another drawing paper, placed it on the drawing board and clamped it together again before mixing another round of paint.

"What am I going to paint now?" He mustered under his breath as he felt his mind blank with any idea. Opening the last bottle of wine, he knew had hit his limit after the second bottle but he wanted to get drunk since he had nothing to draw again.

Gulping down the liquor, he started feeling dizzy. He felt his head start aching him the more he gulped it down. Standing up from the stool, he staggered on his feet towards the corner where the drawing boards were arranged. He took one, walked back to the desk, opened the drawer, took a sharpened pencil and an eraser and closed it.
