"Ughh.. fight.." Helena bit her tongue. Freeing the blood left inside. She forced her head back then pushed forward. "Refuse...to.. lose.." Helena's flesh bursts on her body and cracks appeared on the rest of her skeleton. Even her eyes were sacrificed to fuel it.
*Wooosh!* A thin silhouette of Helen's skull shot forward. Hitting the blood warrior full on. His face finally changing. As he was destroyed turning into power that entered Helena.
"Forgive me father." The blood warrior pleaded towards Max.
"No forgiveness, even in death." Max said coldly. "A failure even in death. She is more than you in every way." As everything about the body was finally done and his son was removed from existence, a very tiny drop remained that just entered Helena floated back out. It formed a blood door then vanished. "Congrats Helena."
Max never looked away as she reformed bit by bit. Her very bones a silver color before returning to normal. Her blood golden as it flowed out. A precious resource for several young cultivators.
*Doop!* Until Max dropped his blood onto her.
"Nothing is going to hunt you down if I have my say so." Max recited the incantation that would make her blood poison to any that took it forcefully. Without her consent, it would be useless for the most part. '"Your safety is what matters troublesome girl."
"You are troublesome." Helena's head said. Her vocal cords had not even formed as she used her new abilities. "How the hell did I do that?" She didn't move as she reformed either. Which was quite funny.
"It is.. blood energy and that of your soul itself." Max said softly. Marveling at her form. "You are the youngest Body Cultivator I have ever witness to reach this level. That determination and will is scary. Something I did not develop until my second life. I am very impressed."
The eyes blinked but Helena said nothing. She was stunned into silence. Gaia moved over touching her. A green light going over the body. The recovery increased. Without her having to resort to any medicine. Something that Gaia could do with ease considering.
Helana cultivated enough today. She needed a bit of a rest. Helena was out like a light, o she couldn't protest. With a wave of the hand, the room turned into a normal one once more.
Helena was put on a medical bed her arm grabbed Max before he moved away. The grip was really tight.
"Umm..guess I am not going anywhere." Max sat on a stool. He sent a call to a demon to double the search on finding her boyfriend Michael. "I need to heal anyway. That was pretty intense on my body without defenses."
*Shine!* Gaia healed him as well. Which did not bold well if she wasted that little bit of energy on him.
"I have some things to tell you. And I need you to hear me out before coming to a decision." Gaia spoke solemnly. Her eyes kind trying to break it all to him gently. 'After seeing one of his sons.. this might be the worst time to do this.'
As Gaia spoke, Max went through a multitude of emotions. Good, bad, and indifferent. Some things he remembered they talked about beforehand. But some things.. like them spending time in a pocket dimension at one point during the end of his first reincarnation, he did not remember it at all.
Details about the path he continued to go everytime that was impeded by her was enough to drive one upset. But she explained why which brought a wave of anger like no other.
"There is more.... just tell me." Max felt his cultivation thrum. Every aspect circulating dangerously. More than he was use to. Something inside him was changing. Gaia was changing him. "Just tell me!"
"I... did not stay to the side as Malcolm died. Even though you wanted me to anyway. I wanted to save him in the end." Gaia said sadly. "I ignored your desire to have him killed. Malcolm is alive... Godhood is not for you."
A swirling vortex of spirit energy left max. His magical energy supplementing it as well.
*Blip!* Max's energy triggered the wards in the place. He was transported to the roof. The containment field there would contain him. If Gaia didnt remove it.
*Shine!* A red light came down like a comet. A creature's silhouette was very visible. The entire area was contained by Gaia from the sight of everything on the planet. Every single thing that peeked at Earth, that peeked at the U.S. at the time were blinded by a white by her.
The redlight wrapped around Max stabbing into his body. Fighting against him every way for dominance. It spoke to his very core.
(Maxmillion of Sector 2814... unending Rage is in your heart. In your very soul.. You are found wanting.. found willing to burn everything to nothing to satiate your desire to protect Earth... All to soothe your RAGE!!)
*Schup!* Gaia appeared next to him. Sending a white light into him. Awakening pass memories of when he was a constant righteous person. Back when he was naive and foolish.
Several figures appeared blurry. The robes they wore were the same as Gaia's. The simple of planets on each of them. Planets such as Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, Venus, Neptune, Uranus, Pluto, and Saturn.
Their eyes glowing dangerously as they stared at Max. Ready to kill at a moment's notice. The littlest one, Pluto closed its eyes.
"Remember your promise to me Maxmillion!" Gaia said heatedly. "Remember your vow!" She believed Max would succeed. If he didn't, then she would lose her strongest champion currently. Not physically. But in the will to move forward. 'Come on!'
"God damn it!" Max bellowed at the top f his lungs. So loud, his lungs actually burst inside of him. The red light burrowed inside him seeking the chance. But instead of replacing it like does in the future, it dug into his marrow. "Welcome home!"
Max grinned. The red light vanished and entered him fully. Already wrapped around his spirit energy. Blending and getting refined by him. The change Gaia did earlier was to get Max ready for this moment.
*Fwoosh!* A figure wrapped him up in an instant. It was Gaia. Tempted to kiss him but that would be a big no no currently. She was no home wrecker.
The others faded one by one. Whispering words that Max could not understand. But Gaia could. They were happy for the future. So happy they left small pieces of themselves with Gaia to make more champions to represent themselves.
"About Malcom.." Gaia added in quicky. "He is currently sitting in collapsed star. Suffering for eternity and stripped of all his power. I didn't mention that part. My silly mistake." Her eyes were slightly playful. "Must have slipped my mind."
"You really need to work on your jokes. Not funny at all." Max said simply. He was so tired his body laid limp. It didn't help the red entity was loving his body. Loving his very soul. Nourished by all his past lives. It didn't touch on his current one. Considering every contract he signed with people, it fed on the rage from those as well. "I do not want to house another one."
"Huh, that was just separate you from the destiny that would have formed from my shitty husband. Separate you from the Sk.. nevermind." Gaia shook her hand brushing it off. "You are your own man. Able to set your own domain when you become a Titan. Which should only take a few years."
Gaia lifted Max up in a princess carry. Not sparing him any dignity left. The roof was secured still but she rather speaks inside. Arriving in his den with a few others inside looking wide eyed.
"So... you plan on unhanding my boyfriend?" Morgen Le Fey asked. Her fingers curled slightly. Gaia just blinked at the woman. "Goddess or not.. only I should be able to carry him like limp dough."
"Hahahaha!" John couldn't help but laugh. As well as the other males. Teth-Adam turned around unable to look at Max currently. "Mate, this is the second time in.."
"Shut up!" Max forced out. Sitting up in Gaia's arms before going limp once more. 'I never thought I would miss the blasted Academy!' What was worse, little Rose came over.
"Uncle Max, you look like a princess." Rose said cutely. The entire room lost it. All of them laughed except Max. He wanted to crawl into bed and just go to sleep. "We should play dress up!"
Once Max regained enough energy. They had a very late party. Helena woke up bursting with energy and over sensitive taste buds. She couldn't stop trying things. Selina watching her closely. Happy she was herself still.
Claire eyed Max intently. A light in her eyes shining. She wanted.. no needed to speak with him alone. To scared to send a mental message to him though. Atlas, the A.I. had some news for Max.
'The Lantern Wars fundamentally changed. Scenario now unknown. Sending information to Atrocitus of former Sector 666. Instructions and history revealed about what happened.' Atlas was able to speak through to them via the red light. Since the red lanterns were years from forming, it was easy to influence them before things happened. 'I will do my best to help the individual with the knowledge you have. Until the eye can give you what you already do not know.'
'It is in your hands.' Max stopped walking over to Claire. 'Be careful. Those years of anger does change a person.' Looking at Claire's troubled expression, Max erected a sound barrier. "Talk to me."
"I.. think I need some serious help." She grabbed Max's arm almost pleadingly. "I came across a rock taking a trip. The energy from it was amazing. I didn't think it would be to bad to refine it. So I did. But it changed me a little." Her eyes turned into a green glow. Flames coming from her hand were green as well. "I feel so off lately." Her eyes turned feral after she relaxed.
*Woom!* Max placed his hand covered in spirit energy against her forehead. Claire was actually sweating from nervousness. The information he recieved was pretty quick.
"Neat." Max grinned. Claire just blinked at him. "You are fine. The good news nothing is wrong with you. Blackfire can actually help you later. But I will solve the worry now. You did a great job in refining."
"Haa, what was it?"
"A gem that is native to Tamaran. The place Blackfire's people migrated to long ago. The rock was seeped in blood. Most likely from one of the more serious battlezone. Approach her carefully about it." As Max helped her refine it all once more, her body returned to normal in physical appearance once more. Even when agitated. "A long list of abilities are going to start manifesting. Especially as you grow in strength as a cultivator. You are basically refining the blood with your own."
"Wait.. what about weaknesses?"
"Emotional Instability issues. Tamaraneans' powers are regulated by their feelings, happier emotions initiate and heighten their abilities. While negative emotions weaken them to the point of deactivation. Overload from energy. If Tamaraneans absorb more solar radiation than they're able to process, their cells run the risk of degrading. Kind of like a Kryptonian and over-saturation. Causing their enhanced abilities to shut down, potentially for good. Mala actually can help you with knowing your limits actually." Max paused thinking it over. "Ultraviolet Radiation Depletion would be an issue usually. But as a human cultivator, you will not have that issue. Since we take in energies turning it into spiritual energy or just straight magic energy. Metallic sensitivity would cause you to release Starbolts from your nose. But, that is taken care of by what we do once more. Just cultivate your mental technique a little more ok?"
"Yup." Claire was on cloud nine in happiness. "I thought I would be locked up or something."
"Nah, you have done good with controlling your fire. Very diligent. Keep it up. No outbursts and full control is defintely a way to become the person you want to be in the future." Max chatted with her a little more then moved around.
'It all worked out.' Claire thought happily. She was suprised when Gaia walked over to her. Especially with her dressed in regular clothes since her other clothes were to eye-catching. "Yes?"
"I have a small request. Something I think you may want to hear." Gaia was very straightforward with everything she wanted. Unlike Max who was a current champion, future champions that were connected to him needed to be approached carefully. "How would you like to change something on a higher level?"
