Ye Xinghe-
.
In the Secret Chamber that contained the Heart Method Maxium, Ye Xinghe was going over every part of the room to make sure he didn't miss anything. The runes on the walls, and the circulation of his own Heart Method resonated with each other.
*Swish!* The Time Energy he had around his hand spread out in five points in the room. Lighting up the entire room as the runes interacted with those on his bones. The Rune lines flared up and in the blink of an eye, he was gone.
Traveling through, he appeared in an unusual place with what looked to be a prehistoric setting. Staring around, the hackles on the back of his next twitched. Some were heading towards him at extreme speeds.
"Tch!" With a vague idea of where he was, a raised finger was focused full of his dragon qi and fired. "Not staying in this blasted place!" As the beam of concentrated fired out, he already pushed the Heart Method with the Aspect of Time.
"Arrrooo!" Whatever was hit in the distance cried out loudly. By the time it arrived to the location, Ye Xinghe was already gone. The demon beast was bleeding from the head but it would not die from the wound. "RAAWWRRRR!"
Hunters in the area immediately took note and fled from the area to safety. Other Demon BEast however could smell the blood and were now in pursuit. The gray cat-like demon beast went on a rampage for many days.
*Shine!* Landing back in the Secret Chamber, Ye Xinghe was at least able to determine something from the jaunt. The Aspect of Time was a pain in the ass and not something to mess with until he understood cultivation and the powers of a Champion more.
"Hmm?" The surrounding chamber was not the same. To be precise, he was not back yet fully. It was further out of flux than him of course but he also didn't like being intangible? or out of sync with the Dimension. "Well the every loving fuckery did I do?"
As Ye Xinghe dealt with the situation. He missed people coming into the room. A purple-haired man and a purple-haired woman. For the most, they looked like siblings or could possibly be mother and son.
"Liang Huo, are you sure this is the best option?" The man looked to the woman. His tone was somewhat friendly but his eyes were hard as they glowed purple.
"Liang Long, stop being a worry wart." The woman was sick of his worry. "You do not have to be a part of this brother. I can handle this myself." She stepped through the form that was Ye Xinghe planting her feet apart.
With a shout, all of her qi and life force was sent out. Runes appearing all over and burning into the walls.
"Ugh!" Liang Huo dropped to the floor looking very tired. Her once purple hair turned gray as the very vitality inside her was pushed out. Unable to sense her power in his current form, she had to at least have dropped full realms or something. "Heh, so weak now but the pain is gone. I know longer hear their voices."
"Move aside you old fossil." Liang Long said in jest. Making the same decision as her, he planted his feet doing the same thing she just did.
With a shout, all of his qi and life force was sent out. Runes appearing all over and burning into the walls along what was there before going a little further. Ye Xinghe was able to take notice of the large room now.
Unfortunately, whatever was going on with him was speeding up. He barely had enough time to take stock of the large room and the additional runes before it all started to crumble with the passage of time.
Multiple men and one or two women coming down of the years trying to restore it with a few breaking the work in certain places. It was frustrating to not be able to get it all. One thing he could tell at least was that the Dark Moon Family use to be united at one point.
With a compassionate side and.. well the side they had now.
*Scrch!* Feet pushing on the floor since he was now solid, Ye Xinghe was a little pissed off. The only way he would get some more answers would be by refining the entire chamber and its surroundings.
Or by taking every grave marker of the Dark Moon Family and hoping enough was left to allow him to gain something. The old books didn't have a lot of history that went back past a 100 years.
"Tch!" Leaving the room, Ye Xinghe swallowed the entire chamber into his Internal Space for study. Leaving behind a very large hole in the area. A small look back didn't reveal any bones or anything in the dirt. 'I will discuss this with Liang Yu to make sure I don't do something to stupid and alienate the Dark Moon Family right as he takes it over with Liang Jian.'
Informing the others he was leaving via the Heart Method, Ye Xinghe burst with speed heading back home. Not in the mood to cultivate for once as he was trouble over Liang Long and Liang Huo.
One other thing that took place, he lost some Health from that jaunt. In other words, his vitality went down from doing that.

Azure Feather Family Judgment Hall-
.
It had been two days with Ye Xinghe having spent time just thinking and discussions with Liang Zhantian on the history of the Dark Moon Family. The old man was suprised he knew of Liang Long & Huo.
The information he knew of the two were that they were close siblings. Twins that resembled each other closely until puberty. So basically identical twins that kept secrets with the person they trusted the most.
Records of the two did not exist in the Dark Moon Family because of their closeness. He did not elaborate and Xinghe did not care. Since it was gone, nothing he could do about it.
As for the graveyard of the family, Liang Yu agreed it would have been done in secret to get into the old burial place. But for now, they needed to bring order to the Dark Moon Family and Blue Carp Town.
Lin Yin representing the Lin Family as an Elder, Ye Yanfan of the Black Moon Family, and He Dongming of the MolLan Family were in attendance listening in. Getting a feel of how the judicial system will move forward. Coming away from some elders making decisions and people who study the law taking over.
Liang Xian had escaped with a few others during the raid. But not his son Liang Xu or the ones marked for execution by Liang Jian and LinLin. They were currently in the dungeons getting just desserts.
Ye Xinghe was sitting in the Judgement Hall staring at Old Ye. A few clan elders and his people were in the room for observation purposes. Ye Yue finished reading the charges brought to attention for the last order of business.
"Do you deny this to be true?" She stared at the old patriarch with a neutral expression. Basically a proceeding of serious crimes that required the Patriarch to preside over. 'Much better than the day in and day out delegation the clan did before at least.'
"I do!" Old Ye stood determined to defend himself. "I was warned by a colleague that the clan was in danger! I only acted to make sure we were not wiped out! We have served the Dark Moon Family for so long, they would have been lenient I am sure of it if we explain ourselves correctly!"
"History has proven contrary to that." Ye Hai spoke out as a prosecutor. He was really good at it and understood the Clans old laws and the new ones implemented by Ye Xinghe the most. Next to Xinghe and Ye Yue of course. "After hearing about the coup d'é tat, it would have been best for you to step forward before charges were brought up."
The Azure Feather Family knew nothing of Liang Zhantian on the side of Liang Yu currently. All they knew is that Liang Yu, Liang Jian, and the others that were in the Dark Moon Family before that helped guard the town were in charge of restructuring the Clan currently.
"I did not give any secrets of the clan out." Old Ye claimed. "The clan was all that I thought of. You all have known me for years! I would never put us in harm's way!" Pleading to the jury it was already clear what would take place.
Much needed to be done before the law could be used correctly. Since the charges brought up were that of treason only, it carried only the death sentence. Which a lot of them were against.
*Woosh!* The suffering fed the Heart Method just fine, which brought a smile to Xinghe internally. The old man was very sorry about his actions so it helped understand more for now.
The jury only deliberated for five minutes. The room was sealed as they discussed it of course. And they were forbidden from talking it over after it was over. Except to a court official for records later.
In case trouble of the trial was revealed or something to that effect. Once they came out, Ye Yue read the verdict. keeping a straight face the entire time.
"The Jury find the defendant, not guilty of treason." A few murmurs could be heard. More than a few of discontent as they stared to see what Ye Xinghe would do.
Those composed of the Council did not refute either. Not finding fault with the proceedings yet themselves. When Xinghe told him some cases would take days, they thought it a joke. But the few based on land disputes did take time.
"Pathetic." Ye Xinghe shook his head in disgust. He would not overturn the law he set down despite his own beliefs to the contrary. The law will never be respected that way if he started doing so when a jury found the man innocent. "The Council has found him not guilty of treason so the matter will only be kept in his file and nothing else done. Both on the Civil level and the Government level you have been deemed innocent."
"I think the Patriarch for his mercy." Old Ye bowed.
"If you really thought me to be the Patriarch then why have you not given me the clan symbol?" Xinghe did not need his thanks as his eyes contained nothing but disdain for his old uncle. Actions and words carried a lot. "At first I just left it as you were waiting until I did something worthy to live up to the position. Now I see you are just holding on to it. Scheming to take place I suppose."
"The Blue Carp Gem.." Old Ye removed it from around his neck. "..I didn't think you knew of it." He was reluctant to part with it.
"Elder brother.. why wasn't this handed to Xinghe when you appointed him the Patriarch?" Ye Zhuo frowned as he came to his own conclusions. "Did you really not mean it back then?"
A few murmur if this was the case and wanted to change their view on the old man's sentencing. But that was not allowed after the fact the judgment was made.
"I believe in you, just not time yet."
*Swirl!* A turbulent qi arrived as Shangguan Xuan formed in the room. The guards were already primed to attack as they felt the Concealment Array had shifted a few minutes ago.
