1 Day 1

'Shit this hurts! This traitorous teacher sure talks a big game. Still can not believe I fused with this kid's body! Hell, in an incomplete manga at that! Or was it a light novel that was incomplete? Cannot remember for the life of me!' Looking down at the body, he was trying to cope with being Liang Yu. As well as being a type of Chinese person? 'Good shit Leroy, how the heck is a brotha suppose to be a young Chinese man!? This just does not add togethor in a good way!'

The jury was out on that really being that type of setting, since the place had themes and written by that type of author. But a lot of the stuff does not fit with the setup back then. If history is really anything to go by. And that is written by whoever has the power. Clothes definitely said it was close to that anyway.

'Well shit, I can barely remember what happens. Maybe the lighting fried a bit of my dumb ass brain cells when I came here?' The only solid memory he had before waking up here, was drinking a nice mixed drink and talking with his friends. Then some winter storm was supposed to be going on later that day. 'Maybe I am just delusional and freezing out in a storm somewhere or something by mistake?'

The World was that of Star Martial God Universe. The main character was one of the typical Cultivator types. Idealistic and naïve. Causing trouble and the death of his family members a little. Who were not that great of people anyway, to be honest.

They were somewhat loving and stick together after some things happen. Still, a bunch gets killed by the Dark Moon Family. Which Liang Yu is a part of. Also one of the heirs but not that great in the scheme of things. Personality-wise. But that was gonna change slightly.

'Kind of sucks no cheats or anything. But most likely would die from offending someone anyway. Didn't even get..' The young man "Liang Yu" froze as he felt his head start pounding a bit. Images of a man looming over him in a white plane. Fire constantly swirling around and the sound of thunder booming about. Words were spoken that he could not understand even a little bit. As the headache went away, Liang Yu was left wanting to know even more. 'Who the hell is Shango?! And why the hell this bastard incapable of communication!? Why didn't he speak English damn it!'

As Liang Yu racked his brain some more, a small ripple of energy permeated inside of him. The energy swirled like a flame vortex. Everything that made him, his own person was swept inside. Everything that was Leroy mixed in with Liang Yu.

Leroy forgot his own name and only rembered that of Liang Yu now. Affection towards his real family became hollow and distant. The faces of his friends blurred away. Lost in the inner fire inside him. But his knowledge remained. Which was great, no way would he want to relearn school work when making it back home.

If he could make it back home anyway.

"Who is the guy looking completely dazed?" A student asked. He was gathered around a bunch of other students looking around.

"That is Liang Yu, of House Dark Moon. He is the Young Master of that family. They are a major family only second to the City Lord Mansion. Heavenly Ancestor City has six towns on its borders. And all six are their fiefs. Several of the students sitting around him are also Dark Moon members." A blond-haired kid said.

A small troubling look in his eyes. Keeping mindful of several people.

The kids talked amongst themselves still. The atmosphere changed slightly. Liang Yu got up and walked over to a brown-haired kid. A member of the Azure Feather Family, a subordinate family of the Dark Moon.

The boy Ye Xinghe and a horribly naïve person.

"Ye Xinghe.." Liang Yu called out neutrally. Keep his voice as even as possible. "Be careful who you hang out with. Even a few of the commoners you want to mix with are up to no good. If you value your family, keep this to yourself. Beware that blue dragon two-face teacher. And in the next few minutes.. try to keep it togethor. Just a warning to help make up for "some" of what the Dark Moon Family did to your family."

"Umm.. thanks." Ye Xinghe muttered. Liang Yu move moved away before anything else could be talked about. 'That was weird. They are not known for being kind. Maybe it is a trick?'

A young girl moved over thinking the worse from seeing the expression of Ye Xinghe.

"Oh, An Xueyun, of House Eternal Heaven trying to busy herself in other affairs despite not knowing what is going on." Liang stopped as the self-righteous girl stared at him. "All I did was give advice. No need to get your panties in a wad."

"Scum.." An Xueyun muttered lowly. The teacher was nearby and just watched what transpired from the side. He did nothing since their was nothing to do. Liang Yu did not do what the original did.

"Cunt.." Liang Yu mumbled enough for her to hear. Not very happy with the girl already butting in. 'A little time more and the kid gets his little incident that happens to him. Which is whatever I guess. Small little warning might help change things as I remember more. Like how to get ahead to keep from dealing with Dark Moon family assholes.'

A few minutes later.

"Ahhhh!" Ye Xinghe screamed. Looking around in surprise. A few students looking at him strangely. 'What was that just now?' His main character condition just started. Looking around puzzled himself, the young boy was at a loss. 'It was just an illusion. But what was that all about?'

"Just leave him alone. I said a few things to him regarding his family. Made him realize something startling maybe." Liang Yu said. The Dark Moon members looked at him oddly but said nothing else. 'I need to get this blasted cultivation up higher fast. But what the hell is going on in my body right now?'

Currently, the flame vortex was still at work inside his body. Changing it further than what it was.

'Mix with the little bit of fighting I know. Maybe I can do something neat when fighting?' Liang Yu became quiet as he focused on pulling more information on the Dark Moon family and information about this place.

.

-Half an hour later-

.

The students were huddled into a hall. An old Asia Gandalf looking type person was presiding. The students started yapping away excitied. Despite what the traitor teacher just said about being quiet..

The old man slapped down in front of him. Liang Yu already covering his ears knowing this was coming.

"Silence!" His voice boomed out. "Be quiet in the test hall! Although Freshman, you still have to obey Heavenly Star Academy Rules. I am the Vice-Principal of Heavenly Star Academy. Name Xu, responsible for your test today."

'How grateful I am this all sounds English now.' Liang Yu uncovered his ears. The students slightly dazed by the noise still. As they walked up, Liang Yu paid attention to the "crystals" that looked like rocks on the table. It would help label them for future training. 'Whelp wonder what will happen differently? No way they react the same as they would originally.'

"On each table, you will find several red soul crystals. You have to sense these crystals with your mind." Xu said steadily and professionally. Having said the same thing so many times before. "All so we can determine your innate talent. Children who can sense two red crystals qualify to attend classes. Children who can sense three crystals have excellent talent, and children who can sense four crystals.. have the makings of a genius."

The old man let the last bit trail on a bit.

"Wow.." A student let slip. Old Xu gave him a glare. "Sorry…" The child retreated in on himself.

"Also, children who are sensitive to three or more soul crystals will be able to become personnel disciples of Heavenly Star Academy's most outstanding masters. Every single one of them is a powerhouse of at least Heavany 6th Layer."

The traitor teacher stepped forward.

"Ok, Chu Xian, start the exam!" Old Xu ordered. He was talking about the traitor teacher. Always people name Chu doing something in these mangas and light novels it seemed. At least Liang Yu thought.

"Yes!" Chu Xian cupped his hands in respect and bowed. He was really good at being a traitor. No one suspected a thing from him. "There is a table for everyone! Put your hand two inches above the seven soul crystals, and attempt to sense their presence. No need to be anxious. Everything will happen naturally."

The test started at once after that. The teachers talking away already as a noble kid did three off the bat. Liang Yu waited a bit. Ye Xinghe started up. Then he did it after poking them slightly.

"Feels like fake breasts.." Liang Yu mumbled. He missed being a plastic surgeon already. Something was just fun about mixing fake things into people. "Ah well, here we go."

*Bing!* The first lit up. Then a second and third at the same time. The fourth lit up with a little effort. They floated around along with the fifth and sixth slowly. Mentally, Liang Yu was having trouble with the soul of the original Liang Yu.

The soul was fighting to keep the refining process of the flame vortex from ending him completely. He should have known it would not be this easy to have it all squared away.

The current Liang Yu was pulled into himself mentally. Feeling this needed to be handled quickly, his mind was already made up.

"Look here, not by choice I am here. Freak accident. Blame the Heavens and all that shit!" Liang Yu was not that willing to let go. "I am not that bad of a guy. But not that good. I do not want to die or stay here brat!"

"Then give me back my body!" The original yelled in defiance. TA coward he may be but one thing he knew, if he did not fight back all would be loss. Meaning his life would be lost. "Do you know who my family is!?"

A last-ditch effort to scare the new Liang Yu that pushed back against him. Seeing the form take on more of his appearance was not good.

*Fwish!* The flame vortex flared up. A touch of the fire touched them both. The contact burning away parts of both their souls. Not liking that at all, new Liang Yu became enraged. He started punching the young man and pushing him into the flames.

"If this was my original body, this would have been over already!" Liang Yu yelled. Touching the other started to make him hungry in a way. Whisps of the soul moved into his body satiating the feeling. As if the soul itself was a food of sorts. "So that's it! Bottoms up! Get eaten!" The white form of new Liang Yu lunged at the original.

"Ahhh!" He cried out as he was bitten. His soul tearing away with each bite. "I do not want to die!"

"Neither do I!" New Liang Yu ripped at the jugular continuously devouring away. Nothing would stop him from living. His fingers digging into the others organs to increase pain. Even a few atrocities. If their was a way here, then a way back existed. "Watch me do what you couldn't!"

As he ate away, the outside continued on as normal. The testing stones almost all lit up. The last one falling down. But this was due to exhaustion. He actually did all 7! New Liang Yu's nose was bleeding but he felt ecstatic.
