Pointless Duel

As soon as the director left, his stomach let out a loud growl to remind him that the only thing he had taken today was the coffee Elizabeth had made while she was here.

It was dinner time, so why not make his way to the dining hall and get something to eat? The hunger had kicked in, and his tired body had begun to feel weak. It was had to keep on his feet as he walked on the marble walkway leading to the white hall at the end of it.

'Just a few more steps and we're there!' he encouraged himself, dragging his weak body.

The sun had finally set, and the academy would have been plunged into darkness if it wasn't for the light crystals that had been placed around the walkways and places students used at a time like this.

"Hey, have you heard? Professor Obsidian fought off a high orc at the barrier. I was told he took it out in one move, the guards were shocked by his power."

A boy behind him whispered to a friend as they walked past Arthur.
