Revelations

It was the next morning and as usual April was making us rush about. I barely got to time to talk about last night which she just said coldly she was just teaching me a lesion. After finishing our breakfast, we returned to the academy.

It was still one more day before my master woke from his rest. The thought of spending another night with April sent shivers down my spine. As we approached the gate the fainting feeling returned along with the sounds. This time April also heard it as she looked at me stunned.

April ran towards the waterfall my instincts told me to follow her. it was a long trek, but we got there eventually. April sat on a nearby rock as I lay on the grass looking up at the massive waterfall as we caught our breath.

"you're not going to make out with me in there" I said with a nervous smile

"don't be a fool" she replied with a thump to my shoulder as we walked through a side path into a cave.

The cave was enormous making glad that the know it all was with me. The humming was coming through the middle chamber. April told me to follow it, so I did as she followed behind me. there was a faint glow in the distance.

Finally we mad it through the chamber and in the middle was definitely an angel she was wearing a light blue dress as she was standing over a part over a shard of the stone of choosing, hair long blonde hair was what was illuminating the chamber.

"it is te thy the last of the light" she said in a heavenly voice 

I was so in awe that I apologize for destroying the shard 

"it was neigh your fault young child"

She couldn't finish her sentence as the air blew around us and her light began to fade before she vanished, she told me to get the remaining shards and to run. Quickly we ran as fast as we could as the cave started to collapse around us. The entrance was about to collapse on instinct I put up my arms.

A weird sensation came through my arms like there was ice going through my veins as water shot out holding the falling debris in place. April grabbed me as the derby fill the entrance of the cave.

"what, how" she was lost for words as she seen her mother standing over us. The headmistress wait till we were in her office and just like before she didn't believe us, she kept on repeating men can't be water elementals and we I told her that I think I'm all of them she told me to get out saying only a man's ego would allow him to think of such nonsense.

Fed up with her I looked for Lilly and Akikio, but I could not find them anywhere. I checked around the academy once more before given up and went to pet the horses. I spent like an hour with the horses as I left, I heard giggling from around the corner.

It was Akikio and Lilly making out, I coughed to get their attention. The annoyance left their faces when I told them about the cave which then made them want to train me a bit before I left tomorrow.

We went to the swimming pool inside the academy I was quite big, but we didn't use it instead they showed me the different gestures for different abilities like the one I did early to create a water shield. We had so much fun practicing that I got back to Aprils room late. April was on her bed already in her nightdress her eyes where red as if she were crying.

"are you ok" I said in the politest way possible 

"I'm fine just get to sleep" she said as she got into bed

I dint argue with her and went straight to sleep. The sun shone through the window and I quickly rushed out of bed and to the infirmary I opened it but to my surprise the headmistress was already there giving him an earful as she stopped when she seen me and headed to the door.

"god dam it women I want to see our child"

My jaw dropped as did my luggage April was carrying as I forgot to take it. Aprils eyes were full of anger and sadness as she marched up to her mother " you told me he died in the war" she screamed at her as she clenched her fist the room turn as cold as a winters night.

" he's always on the move getting into trouble ,we don't need men and there destructive nature in our lives" she said trying to defend herself 

"destructive ill show you destructive" April's eyes went white as snow as the walls turned to ice so to did her mother face she was going to kill her but my master leaped off his bed and wrapped his arms around his daughter the room slowly went back to normal.

She didn't hug him back she just marched off, the headmistress was shaking and crying as the nurse lay her on the bed the once cherry women was now stern and angry as she demanded we leave but just as I was about to leave the room the head mistress vowed to make it a living hell for anyone i got friendly with.

I told my master about Lilly and Akikio he said there is a loophole between the houses he can exploit and that they can come with us. Quickly I told Lilly and Akikio as they were packing, I thought it would be nice to warn April, but she wasn't there.

As I was I a rush I went straight to the horses the rest were there already. We were already to go but April blocked the way she looked at her father and did something unexpected she told us she was sorry, and she asked for my master to take her too. With out hesitation my master put her on his horse as we rode as far as we could.
