"Hey, good morning," She said in greeting, as she advanced.

"Yeah, because my day definitely got brighter on sighting you?" He replied sarcastically, dimming his eyes at her.

"Sorry." She said, and made to move past him.

He blocked her. She looked up, and stared pointedly at him.

"I was joking. I'm really happy to see you." He said, smiling.

"Gee, thanks. I'll keep that in mind.

Excuse me please." She replied, her arms folded across her chest.

"Certainly," he said, then gave way.

She strode past him to her car, got in, and drove away.

He followed her with his eyes, squinting.

Smiling, he lit a cigar, inhaled, then exhaled with his eyes closed.

It felt good.

Opening his eyes, he jammed his hands inside his jean pockets, then leaned against the wall of the tall building.

Anyone looking at him would think he was enjoying a leisure time, but the truth was that, he was in deep thought.
