[2] Hestia's Worry

--- Chapter 2 ---

Orario, also known as the Labyrinth City, was filled fully with various adventures of different races.

Cienthropes, Cat people, Boaz, Amazoness, etc.. were all walking around happily, some of them even going into the Entertainment District.

It seemed to everyone that this day was like any other, apart from a certain someone inside of a certain building.

In the depth of an unpopular small road was abandoned and broken down church with a statue of a goddess in front.

Inside of this seemingly ordinary church, laid a beautiful petite girl with black hair parted into two twin tails.

Her sapphire blue eyes were filled with slight worry as she got up from the purple sofa that she was sleeping on.

'I feel something wrong...'

She quickly ran out the church and looked far into the distance, specifically towards the Babel, a tall tower that covered the dungeon completely.

"I wonder if you are alright, Bell-kun..."

The petite girl then lightly clenched her tiny hands for a moment before releasing them.

'I wish I could go into the dungeon and help Bell-kun...'

She then shook her head lightly and thought of a weapon that would suit Bell, not knowing that something strange was happening to him at this very moment.

*Flash*

The figure of the deceased Bell Cranel was suddenly engulfed by a bright golden light, illuminating the 5th dungeon floor.

The golden light gradually turned fainter the more Bell's body regenerated.

After a few seconds the golden light completely disappeared, revealing Bell's body that had recovered fully.

A few seconds after the light descended a transparent figure, entering the frame of the silver haired youth laying down.

"Mm?"

The fingers of the youth twitches a few times before stopping completely.

'Where...am I?'

The boy moved his hands towards his head and started sweating lightly when a barrage of memories suddenly entered his brain.

As for why? Well, the reason is quite simple. A small part left of Bell's original soul had merged together with the new one, making the memories transfer from the former to the latter.

(A/N: I know this is Clichè but bear with me.)

A few seconds later Bell opened his eyes, revealing two ruby red eyes filled with confusion.

He was initially panicked as to why he was transported here but he quickly gathered his rationality to analyse what was going on now.

Especially when your laying in the middle of a monster infested dungeon.

'A world filled with different races and monsters?'

The silver haired boy suddenly stood up shakily from his position and shook his head lightly.

'It seemed like the original host died because of ignorance. If only he was more patient and jones his skills on the 2nd floor then going straight down to the 5th...'

He then proceeded to move his legs lightly, trying to get used to his new body. The youth started to cough lightly while limping towards the floors exit.

'Bell Cranel, so that's me now I guess? Well, since 'I' died because I was too weak, I will try to become the strongest adventure that Orario has ever seen...'

The edge of Bell's lips curved upwards a little as he made a promise inside of his mind.

'Well, the first thing I have to do now is greet my Goddess. Don't I?'
