C23: Fast Pace 2 and Date**

Just a word of warning that the "fast pace" is stat wise not dungeon wise.

The group of Axel, Welf and Daisy continue their schedule for the next week before MonsterPhilia appears. Their progress got them to the 12th floor after some annoyance due to the overabundance of monsters that are there seemingly teaming up though Axel did have to reveal the details of his gluttony skill to Welf and Daisy. But only the weakening detail, he didn't mention how he gets stats from it as he wasn't sure how they would react to that news but his parasite skill could not be hidden at all as they can see how his arms/hands morph by small bits. Especially if he is about to get hit and couldn't dodge then the more obvious change in his muscle structure can not be denied.

Halfway through their week-long hunt, Axel had both gotten the new set of greaves and gauntlets that suit him much more. He still continued to get magic lessons every other day, as such he has been learning a few low level spells but they are still quite effective. Especially the new flamebolt spell which is a flame based spike spell that is good for piercing through infant dragon, hard armored and many other monster hides or scales and the goat that allowed them to easily reach the 13th floor. Axel could have gotten there faster if he was able to absorb more but with it being limited to just his own close combat techniques then he struggles to gain tons of stats. As such his stats have only risen to the peak of C grade with two reaching B rank. They could go much deeper into the dungeon but Axel doesnt want his little team to be overwhelmed but they do have plans to progress to the 14th floor just before Monsterphilia starts.

Axel could have technically gotten to Rivira if he was fighting by himself but Daisy needs a bit of time to collect stones and then he can't very well ignore all the monsters as a group but he doesnt mind as he is having fun with his group. On the other hand, his body has shrunk back down, no he didn't become a twig but just like Senji Muramasa said, his body settled on a lean physique though hints of muscles remain on his arms, legs and abs.

To ensure that they could more easily reach the 13th floor and above, Axel finally gets his falna updated.

Raikou was once again annoyed on seeing a new name on the Odr skill but Axel quickly explained that they never did anything other than kiss. Amongst them are the Wyverns, Crystal Mantis, Lamia Mormos', Hellhounds, Almirasj, and Dungeon Worms.

The group is quite exhausted from the extensive list of monsters showing up as they are all showing up on the 13 and 14th floor and not saving any surprises for later floors. Granted the 15th floor is it's own beast and more monsters show up there. The middle layers is supposed to continue until the 24th floor but already the pacing is tiring the group out as Axel has to regularly cover both Welf and Daisy. Especially Daisy who is still level 1 while Welf's growth is not as fast as his and needs some help from time to time.

Welf can typically handle the monsters one on one but gets easily pincered with anything more than one monster. So creatures like hellhounds that sometimes work in teams are a struggle for him. Almiraj are also incompatible with him due to their fast speeds. Axel primarily handles the wyvern, mantis and lamias by himself as they are fast or durable enough that he is the only one who can even hurt them.

Their venture to the 15th floor is cut short as they are exhausted quite quickly and make their way back to rest and recover before they reconvene after monsterphilia.
