15 Chapter Fifteen

"I killed a silverback on the way here, do you know if there are any more?"

I asked, watching two deities bicker.

"I killed a few, but the guild member told me that there should be three or four, or two or three now..."

Ais answered, looking at the same scene as I was.

"I'm sure the other adventurers are handling them right now..."

Ais nodded and we fell into silence, or more precisely, into the bickering of two goddesses...

I sighed, biting into the ice cream and spotting that the blonde-haired girl was looking at it, quite intensely. I offered the other side of the ice cream, and she smiled, leaning down to bite into it.

"What are you doing to my Ais?!"

The red-haired diety jumped at me into a tackle, and I just hummed as she collided into me, not even budging as Ais leaned back, humming pleasantly, before looking at the goddess.

"Loki, what are you doing?"

Ah, so this was Loki?

... Loki was a woman? Wait, he had the ability to shapeshift, so it made sense, I mean, he was a Mare once... and he got pregnant too... Let's stop thinking about Loki's exploits.

"I'm stopping this kid from flirting with you!"

I blinked... What? I looked down at Loki and raised an unimpressed eyebrow. Glancing at Ais, she had a pink dusting on her cheeks, and I sighed again.

Try to be nice, see what it gets you...

"Bell! You shouldn't flirt with random girls!"

Et tu, Hestia?

I was about to contradict that when a flapping of wings reached my ears. I looked up curiously, before grabbing both goddesses and jumping back, the poor, delicious ice cream being sadly left behind.

Ais followed us as we landed on the ground a distance away and a gust of air washed over us, followed by a roar a second later.

"A Green Dragon? What the hell was Ganeisha's familia thinking?"

I question absently, putting both stunned deities on the ground.

"Be careful, Bell!"

I nodded, taking out My kusarigama and connecting them to the chains.

"What are you thinking Itty-Bitty? Do you want the kid to die? Let my Ais handle this!"

I raised an eyebrow absently as the Green dragon looked around frantically, before looking at me, narrowing its eyes, and opening its mouth to roar in challenge. Dragons... such prideful creatures...

"That's a level four, what level are you?"

I asked Ais as she unsheathed her sword in preparation as she got ready.

"Five."

I nodded, a level higher than the monster, which was a plus, but she alone could not prevent the collateral.

"I'll redirect its fire, kill it fast."

She nodded, probably realizing the same thing I did as I dashed forward, mana circulating around my body as the Dragon reared its head back.

My chains spun, The kusarigama flashing in the sun and I launched it forward, the metal wrapped around its long neck as I channeled more mana into my legs and pushed myself off the ground.

I landed on the dragon's back and grabbed onto the chain, using élenchos to anchor myself to the dragon's back and pulling.

Fire erupted into the sky and Ais came in a split second later, cutting into the dragon's neck and sliding down, opening up the dragon's neck. A second later, it turned to dust and I landed on the ground.

"Did you see my Ais, Itty-Bitty? She killed that overgrown lizard like it was nothing!"

Loki bragged as I returned the chains back to the box, disconnecting the kusarigama from them and returning the two to their sheathes.

"If it wasn't for my Bell, she would have been crisp!"

Ais walked up next to me, bending down to pick up the magic crystal and offering it to me, I looked down at it then at her, and nodded in gratitude.

Taking the magic stone, I dropped it into my pouch.

"My Ais would have been fine!"

Closing the pouch, I turned to the two deities who were... Still bickering. I absently cast a glance to one of the taller rooftops, where a figure clad in a black cloak.

Her gaze was getting very annoying at this point.

I turned back to Ais, and she turned back to me, an unspoken understanding passed between us as we nodded in unison.

We both grabbed our own dieties and started walking away.

"Let me go, Ais! I need to teach Itty-Bitty a leasson!"

Loki's words went ignored.

"Bell! Let me at her!"

I ignored Hestia as well. I just wanted to take a damn nap...
