136 Chapter 124: A Chat Between Goddesses

A smile on her face Athena walked through the streets of Orario.
Ariane and Diluc at her side.
Since they were her escorts for the day.
As all three of them moved through the streets citizens waved and smiled at them. Which the three of them did in return.
Since just like the Astraea familia and Ganesha familia, the Athena familia worked to keep order in Orario actively.
Unlike some of the other familia's who only took action when they had no other choice.
But that is neither here nor there.
The group of three eventually arrived at a shop that sold expensive liquor.
Going inside Athena purchased six bottles of highly expensive dwarven Mountain Brandy.
A drink that is said to be able to knock a deity on their ass after just a few sips.
Well most that is.
But for someone who loves hard liquor like Athena she could drink three bottles of the stuff before passing out.
And unlike a certain red-head goddess Athena knew how to restrain her drinking habit and only indulged in the hard stuff sparingly.
Her purchase in hand Athena left the store.
Then she, Diluc, and Ariane headed for their next destination.
Stardust Garden.
Since today she had a meeting with her friend Astraea.

Arriving at the Astraea familia home Athena walked right up to the front door and knocked.
A second later it was opened by Lyra.
"Lady Athena. Come in." Lyra said.
"Don't mind if I do." Athena said.
She, Diluc, and Ariane then stepped inside.
Athena then went straight to Astraeas' office and opened her door without any hesitation.
When this happened Astraea stopped working on the documents in front of her.
"Astraea I'm here. Enough work, let's drink." Athena said.
Taking one of the brandy bottles out of the bag and shaking it.
Seeing this Astraea put a wry smile on her face.
Meanwhile the Astraea familia members who heard Athena offer alcohol to Astraea all felt headaches coming on.
Ariane and Diluc simply sighed at their goddesses antics.
"Athena, I thought you came here to have a meeting." Astraea said.
"Oh I did." Athena replied. A serious expression on her face.
But that only lasted for an instant before she smiled again. "However once all the serious stuff is out of the way why can't the two of us enjoy ourselves with some fine liquor?" She questioned.
Astraea simply sighed at her friends antics once more.
"Ok." She said.
"Great." Athena said.
She then shut the door to Astraeas office and took a seat on the couch.
Afterwards Athena began explaining about the Xenos and their relation to Ouranous. As well as about Haruhime and her magic.
The moment Athena mentioned those two things Astraea became intently focused on every word out of her friends mouth.
Until she eventually stopped talking.
"So there you have it." Athena said. "What do you say to helping us out with the Xenos?" She asked.
"Of course. My girls and I would have no trouble in aiding them." Astraea said.
Since she knew none in her familia would take issue with the Xenos.
Just as Athena suspected.
The same with Ouranous.
"Great to hear." Athena said. "I'll contact Ouranous and let him know. Now then, time to drink." She said.
Athena then took out one of the bottles of dwarven brandy and cracked it open.
She then handed it over to Astraea, while took another out and opened it for herself.
Taking a big gulp from it right after she did.
As for Astraea she only took a small sip of the brandy.
But shortly after she did her face became slightly flushed.
"Athena, what liquor is this?" Astraea asked.
Since she thought she had quite a high alcohol tolerance, yet she is already feeling tipsy.
"Dwarven Mountain Brandy." Athena answered.
Hearing this Astraea put down the bottle in her hand.
Only for Athena to place it right back in her grasp a second later.
"Oh come on Astraea. Don't make me drink alone." Athena said. Pouting a bit as she did so.
Seeing her friends pouting face the goddess of Justice folded.
Just like she did every time she and Athena drank together.
It is one of Astraea's only weak points.
Picking up the brandy she began drinking again.
Until eventually she finished off the entire bottle.
Her face completely flushed, signifying that Astraea was drunk.
Athena was as well.
As the two goddesses continued drinking, eventually someone came to check on them.
Opening the office door, Ryana peeked her head inside.
"Astraea, Athena, are you two alright?" She asked.
When she did so Astrea sprang up from her seat and rushed over to Ryana.
She then threw open the door and pulled the girl into a hug. Shoving her face into her ample cleavage.
"Ryana, I love you. *Hic* So much. I love all you girls so much. *Hic*" Astraea drunkenly said.
Ignoring how Ryana was struggling to escape her grasp.
This is drunk Astraea.
Who openly shows affection without reservation.
"Oh no, lady Astraea is drunk." Noin shouted for the entire house to hear.
Just as she did so Astraea turned her gaze to the dark-haired girl.
Like a predator with prey in its sights.
The moment this happened Noin got a shiver across her entire body.
"Noin~" Astraea sang.
She then released Ryana from the hug she had her in and leapt in Noins' direction.
Only for her to dodge at the last second.
In doing so Astraea ran right into Lyra.
The moment after this happened the pink-haired Pallum became the object of Astraeas' drunken affections.
"Gah, no. Help me!" Lyra shouted.
As Astraea latched onto her and started hugging her, rubbing their cheeks together.
But despite her cry for help no one came to Lyras' aid.
In fact, a lot of her familia members simply turned their heads away from the scene.
Pretending they didn't see anything.
Since none of them wanted to be Astraea's next target.
Though some didn't.
Filvis gave her a sympathetic smile.
While Kaguya held her hands together and said a silent prayer for Lyras sacrifice.
Those two actions actually stung her more than just being ignored.
In the end even Alise avoided the situation.
Thus Lyra suffered until Astraea passed out from being drunk.
As she did so Athena laughed her ass off.
When this happened Ariane and Diluc collected their goddess and quickly left Stardust Garden.
Since they felt they had overstayed their welcome.
