Chapter 17: Adventurer

Bell looked at his entire body, then looking at her eyes and with the warmest smile he has, he spoke.

Bell: "Hi Hestia-Sama right?... My name is Bell Cranel, and I'm here due to instructions from the guild, I want to join your Familia if you allow me"

Hestia was a little blushed, his smile and the way he looked at her body made her feel strange. Trying to focus on the current situation, she started to babble until she could speak.

Hestia started to smile and tears of happiness fell from his eyes, the sadness that filled his mind and body after like two months of being rejected by all the adventurers, and the fact of living alone was gone.

They talked for a few hours, telling stories about themself, like where Bell comes from, what he did for a living, or how Hestia survived alone in Orario, how much time she was living here, and about her gods friends. Bell told her that he came with his grandpa and that he is a merchant, that he has money and he wants to invest some in making this place comfortable for two persons and to refill the warehouse, which looked kind of empty.

Hestia was stunned, it was like a miracle... he got a Familia member and he was rich. Her face changed a little and started to mock Bell, she softly hugged him and asked about buying some clothing for her, babbling about how a goddess must be well dressed and always shining. Bell laughed, undeterred by the hug, he nodded to her... not because of the pleading, but because in some way she was right, the better Hestia looked, the better the image she gave to others.

After some minutes of Hestia processing all the information and of Bell smiling at her while laughing inside, Hestia began to talk.

Bell: "Because I wouldn't like to be part of a Familia where you are an adventurer and worked there... I want to be part of a Familia where they act like a real family.. and starting from zero it could be easier to achieve"

After a few more conversations, they left the church and started to do his plans. A few hours later, they returned with a lot of bags with food and supply, a few decorations for his home, and cleaning stuff, although comfortable, the place was a little dirty.

And so the day ended, it was evening and Bell began to prepare dinner. He talked to Hestia to invite his grandpa to dinner, she nodded without think and was happy because rarely eats a dinner that smells so good like the one Bell cooked. Bell left the church for a while to look for his grandpa and Hestia finished cooking.

A few hours later, Hestia heard the knocking door, and when she went to open it, she got stunned and with her mouth opened, it wasn't Bell.

???: "Hi Hestia, so many years not seeing you... how are you?"

Hestia: "What are you doing here ... Z..Z...Zeus?"
