3 3. The Miach Familia

(Sorry for the wait, exams plus laziness. Anyways, enjoy.)

Ren smiled as he closed the shop.

Today was the day he finally joined a Familia!

With newfound enthusiasm, Ren changed clothes as he got himself ready. He felt like he was going to a job interview.

Ren left the shop as he walked to the East district of Orario. Although he didn't know exactly where the Miach Familia home was, it shouldn't be that had to find.

Besides, he could just ask people along the way if they knew where the Blue Pharmacy was.

The only reason he even had a clue about where the Blue Pharmacy was located was because it wasn't far from the abandoned church apparently.

Ren looked around as he walked. Even though he had been in Orario for a while, there were still many places he hadn't been to yet.

As Ren walked, He started to notice a few more characters from the shows. Although a lot of them weren't important, Ren was still amazed. Although he had gotten used to Raul, there were still many other characters he would like to meet from the cast.

It didn't take long for Ren to see a building he had visited once since he had arrived here, The Guild.

Ren smiled as he walked past. The first time that he walked past here, he nearly ran into the guild out of sheer excitement.

If it wasn't for Raul stopping him from entering the guild back then, Ren would have ended up embarrassing himself.

After all, he hasn't joined a Familia yet, so he didn't have any Falna. He couldn't even kill the weakest goblin around.

'It won't take long.' Ren thought as he walked off.

After a bit of walking around in circles and asking for directions, Ren found himself in front of the Blue Pharmacy, home of the Miach Familia.

Ren stood there for a while and gathered his thoughts. He felt incredibly nervous right now.

"Come on Ren! This is just the first step!" He said as he psyched himself up.

"Yosh!" Ren slapped his cheeks as he stormed into the shop with great momentum.

As soon as Ren entered the shop, he saw two people looking at him with bewilderment. It didn't take him long to figure out why though.

'They saw me.' Ren thought as a blush appeared on his cheeks. He couldn't help but cringe at the thought of his earlier display.

Silence descended upon the group before one of the people let out a cough.

Ren turned to him almost immediately. The man could be described as more beautiful than handsome with his blue hair and blue eyes. Ren knew the identity of the man.

It was Miach.

"Can we help you?" Miach asked when he realized that Ren was in a daze.

Ren forgot everything he had been planning to say and went into a deep bow. "Please let me join your Familia!"

"Huh?"

Ren sat down as he looked at the God in front of him. He couldn't help but get increasingly nervous as time went by.

"Please, help yourself to the tea. Although it isn't that great, it should be able to help you calm your nerves." Miach said as he sat opposite Ren.

"A-Ah, I see, thank you." Ren said as he took a sip of the tea, only to realize that it was still hot.

"Hot." Ren muttered with a slightly bent tongue.

After a while, Miach set his own cup down as his demeanor changed.

"Are you ready to talk now?" He asked.

"Yes." Ren asked as he tensed up again.

"Good. Now then, care to introduce yourself?"

"Well, my name is Ren. I come from Melen, although my grandparents were from the Far East. I only arrived in Orario a few weeks ago and I live and work in a bakery. There isn't much to say about me otherwise..."

Ren had come up with this story a while ago. With Melen being close to Orario, Ren had easily created a background for himself. He claimed his grandparents to be from the Far East to add more details to his origin. He was Japanese anyways, and people from the Far East have similar features.

While this lie may have caught on if Miach was God from the Far East like Takemikazuchi and asked for details, he, fortunately, was not.

No one could confirm nor deny his story.

Miach looked at the handsome boy and sighed. With his age, it was easy to tell that Ren was hiding something from him, but he decided to ignore it.

"So why do you want to enter my Familia? You may not know, but our Familia is in really dire straits right now. It wouldn't be a good choice to join us."

"It's exactly because of your situation that I came to you." Ren said.

"Oh?"
