Sleeping

The bed he was lying on had enough space for two people to sleep on. Next to him was a shelf that stored things while across the bed was a large desk filled with books. Not far from the desk is a large wardrobe that had a small dresser attached to it.

Light filled the room through fancy-looking lamps that Glass had never seen before even in Orario. After looking around, he leaned against the head of the bed and spoke, "Thanks for saving me"

"No problems" Omaos replied to him.

"How did I wake up so quickly? Normally falling from such a height I should be at least close to death if not already dead" Glass asked.

"My sister's healing magic healed you. Don't tell her that I told you but she stayed up for an entire day and night to heal your wounds. You literally had one foot in your grave, luckily her magic is powerful and she has a large amount of Mana or else not even the God of death could bring you back" Omaos replied.

"If not even the God of death could bring me back then he's saying his sister surpasses even them?" Glass thought but didn't say anything.

After a while, Yheia came back into the room, "Glass - San, brother, dinner's ready" she said as she stood by the door. Glass who had taken off his bandages had changed into a new set of clothes that resembled the twins' clothes with delicate golden linen near the edges of the cloth.

Standing up, he followed the twins and closed the door behind him as he turned around to face the large mansion in front of him.

"This mansion is massive! It's even bigger than the Guild building!" Glass thought as he looked around. The large mansion matched with the interior and architecture of the room he was staying in just before.

Around him, many other rooms could be seen. Looking around, he noticed that things were symmetrical and the only differences were the paintings that were on display. Every single pot and plant in each corner looked exactly the same as the others!

As he followed behind the twins, he memorized the layout of the house as he walked by. He also noticed many maids and butlers on standby while others were doing their jobs.

After a while, Glass and the twins entered a room with a large double door as Yheia opened it and walked through. Following behind, he entered the dining room of the mansion. Just like the other rooms in the mansion, the dining room had a red carpet running through the middle of the room.

Around them, maids and butlers were standing by the side as Glass noticed a man who the twins resembled as he sat down next to the twins on one side of the dining table that wasn't too large.

"Hello there, I hope you have enjoyed your stay so far" the man said.

"Thank you, the twins had saved me and treated me very well" Glass replied.

"I see, I am their grandfather Ateus" the man introduced himself.

"Their grandfather? I would believe him if he told me he was their older brother by how young he looks!" Glass thought.

"Hahaha, even though I may look like this, I have already been living for over five hundred years" Ateus laughed.

"Five hundred years, they must have a lifespan that surpasses even the elves, he could probably live to one thousand years or longer by the time he starts to age" Glass thought.

Sitting down, in front of him were many dishes he had never seen before. Looking at them, he could tell that they were made with great care. Turning to look at Yheia who had made all of it on her own, he then turned back to face the food.

As if they were waiting for something, Ateus suddenly broke the silence, "Please go head" he said as he picked some food from one of the dishes that Yheia had made.

Seeing this, Yheia and Omaos did the same as Glass started to do the same after them. As he put a piece in his mouth, his eyes widened slightly as he quietly chewed on the food.

"Hahaha, my granddaughter's cooking is good isn't it?" Ateus laughed. Yheia had an embarrassed expression as she ate without talking. Glass nodded at Ateus' question as he continued eating.

After a while, the four of them finished eating their dinner. Glass had found it quite uncomfortable at first being in a room with so many people in silence but grew accustomed to it after a bit.

When they finished, Ateus said, "Well, I'll be doing some work now. Good night" as he turned around to walk in another direction followed by some maids.

As for the empty dishes on the table, some maids took care of them as Glass and the twins headed back to the way they came from.

Since there was still some time, the twins took him around to explore the mansion. As they walked around, Glass asked, "Aren't you guys wary of me at all?"

"We come from a race that can tell if anyone has good or bad intentions. Since you have good intentions, we are fine with this" Omaos replied.

"I see..." Glass said softly as he followed them.

After a while, Glass went back to the room he was staying in. Omaos went to his own room while Yheia followed behind him.

Seeing his questioning expression, Yheia said, "To be honest, the room you were staying in his my room"

"!"

"Then I should stay in another room" Glass replied.

"No, it's fine" Yheia said.

"Fine? But there's only one bed in the room, I can't make you sleep on the floor" Glass replied. "Hehe, I don't mean that silly, the bed is big enough for two people to sleep on" Yheia giggled.

"???"

"Sorry??" Glass asked to confirm what he had just heard. "We can both sleep on the bed" Yheia said again.

"But... why?" Glass replied.

"No more questions" Yheia said as she pushed him into the room and lied down on the bed. Seeing this, Glass had no choice but to lie down on the bed and tried his best to sleep.

The next morning, Glass found that he had slept quite soundly, turning around, Yheia wasn't in the bed as he got up and saw his stuff nearby.

"I can't believe I really slept on the same bed as a girl I had just met" Glass thought as he got up and headed outside Yheia's room and heading for the dining room.

Inside the dining room, he could see Ateus and the twins sitting down and waiting for him. Sitting down, he greeted them.

"Good morning" he said.

The three greeted him as they started eating breakfast. For breakfast, the meals were different to dinner from the previous night. The meals were much lighter and looked more colorful.

"Once you guys are done, the twins will take you around our city Aciras" Ateus said as he left the room and headed into his own room.

Standing up, Glass followed the twins outside their mansion as they headed to town.
