4 Chapter 4: Hephaestus, The Blacksmith Familia!

The Adventurer's Guild was an organization controlled by the great god Ouranos.

The guild was responsible for managing all adventurers and simultaneously guided new adventurers and provided relevant information. It could be regarded as the maintainer of order in the labyrinth city of Orario.

But in many cases, the Adventurer's Guild also accepted other businesses.

For example, some familia members were entrusted to seek talents and were occasionally linked to the adventurer's guild. Then the guild staff recommended candidates to the familia members, but whether they could join them depended on the head god's thoughts or the familia members' decision.

This method undoubtedly increased the possibility of new adventurers joining the familia.

What Yami didn't expect was that the Hephaestus familia considered one of the strongest familia of Orario, would send out recruiting commissions in the Adventurer's Guild.

But for whatever reason, the current situation was good for him.

Since the Hephaestus familia was recruiting, and no matter from which point of view this familia was very suitable for Yami's requirements, there was no reason for him to hesitate.

What had to be considered now was how to join in successfully.

As one of the few large familias, the Hephaestus familia had strict requirements. Not everyone could succeed, even if the adventurer's guild recommended you.

So, be prepared!

"Thank you, Miss Misha. I have made up my mind. I will go to the Hephaestus familia to try it out. If I am lucky enough to join it, I will return and thank you."

"You don't need to be so polite, Mr. Yami. Please do your best!"

For Yami's thanks, Misha seemed a little excited but still waved her hand, "If you are unlucky not to be selected, remember to come back to me, I will recommend you other suitable familias, don't worry, since I am your advisor, then I will be responsible to you to the end!"

"Well, see you later!"

After thanking her again, Yami didn't hesitate any longer. After getting the address of Hephaestus's familia, he turned and left in a hurry.

Misha waved her hands reluctantly, watching the boy's figure leave.

She didn't know why, but she had a good impression of this handsome young man. This was a rare situation. Even if it was a handsome adventurer she had met before, she couldn't calm the throbbing in her heart.

However, such a person was destined to have no chance with an ordinary guild employee like her, and she was already very lucky to be the adventurer advisor of the other party. It would be great if he could often visit her.

"Stop thinking about it, Misha. Work hard!"

Patting herself on the cheek, Misha quickly recovered from the strange state and finally glanced in the direction Yami left, then turned around and re-entered the guild hall.

The Hephaestus familia was not far from the Tower of Babel and was also located on West Street.

As the goddess of forging, the Hephaestus familia could be said to be one of the richest families in Orario, so naturally, they would not establish their residences in places with few people.

According to the map given by Misha, Yami soon arrived at the destination.

"finally reached!"

He slightly raised his head, looking at the plaque above.

The '?φαιστο?' written out of the sacred text symbolizes the name of Hephaestus. Still, Yami always felt that this so-called holy text was not completely similar to the ancient Greek in his previous life, but it was almost the same!

Through the glass, all kinds of equipment placed on the exhibition shelves shone dimly.

Although Yami didn't know the quality of the equipment, at first glance, he knew that the weapons and equipment in front of him were not ordinary, nor could he afford them.

"Huh, come on, Yami, if you can join the Hephaestus's familia, you will be successfully taken care of by a rich woman, and you don't have to worry about the equipment for new adventurers, so seize this opportunity!"

Standing at the door, he continued to cheer himself. After a while, Yami took a deep breath and entered the blacksmith shop.

"Hello, sir. What can I do for you?"

Yami had just stepped into the blacksmith's shop when the lady in the shop greeted him with a professional smile on her face and a gentle question.

"I'm sorry, I'm not here to buy things," Yami looked at the beautiful young lady in front of him and tried to keep calm, "I'm a foreigner who just came from Orario, the consultant of the Adventurer's Guild said that the Hephaestus familia was hiring, so I wanted to give it a try."

"Huh? Are you a newcomer?"

The receptionist was slightly taken aback, and her expression instantly became a little disappointed.

It was a rare opportunity to increase her performance, but it turned out that the other party did not come to buy equipment. It was disappointing, but her good professional ethics quickly restored her smile.

"Please wait a moment. I will inform other people to come and test you."

"Sorry to bother you!"

It went smoother than expected, making Yami sigh of relief.

'As long as I don't get rejected, it's fine, then let's wait quietly, but I don't know whether the head of the Hephaestus familia would conduct the test or the goddess Hephaestus would come in person.'

Yami hoped that the requirements were not too high. Otherwise, he had no confidence that he could pass the so-called test.

Tap!

Just when Yami was thinking, a sound of footsteps sounded from the inner room of the shop.

"Liz, are you sure someone wants to join our familia? I still have a very important weapon that needs to be forged!"

"Of course, Captain. He is waiting outside. You should hurry over there!"

"Is that so? Then let's meet this newbie."

The curtain to the inner room was lifted, and the receptionist lady who had left before reappeared, followed by another figure, who appeared in Yami's sight at the same time.

The latter's gaze swept over him subconsciously, and the only remaining right eye was full of scrutiny.

"Are you the newcomer who wants to join our familia?"
