After promising to train Welf, the Loki Familia barged into the tavern looking for a table to seat the 9 of them (Loki + 8 executives) Loki met eyes with me and screamed "Mikey-chan" launching herself at me similarly to how Tsubaki did.
"Hey Loki-chan," I said patting her on the head
"Tch another weakling trying to cozy up to our goddess," Said Bete
"Sorry Micheal he didn't mean it," said Finn quietly shooting a glare at Bete
"Finn you better control your doggy unless you want me to rip his tail off and shove it so far down his throat it comes out of his ass" I drawled
"Yeah ass hole I'd like to see you try" Said Bete trying to make his way towards me while Gareth put a hand on his shoulder and said "Bete if you want to commit suicide just jump of Babel it will be less painful"
"Fuck you who do you think this ass hole is?" growled Bete
"Bete this 'Ass hole' as you put it is Micheal Wells also known as the Ironmonger he is the best smith to ever come out of Orario as well as one of the most brutal adventurers, while we were fighting Evilus he once said to the captain of the Rudra Familia after killing all the members of his Familia 'I don't get mad, I get even' before ripping his heart out like some sort of demon and stuffing it down his throat before he could die. He literally choked to death on his own heart Bete. Trust me you don't want to start this fight." Said Riveria causing Bete to go pale as he sat down quietly as Riveria made her way over to me. "So sensei do you have the staff you promised me all those years ago"
Chuckling I reached into my inventory and pulled out a staff with the purple foci gem in the center made out of black ironwood and handed it to her. "Stronger than my previous creations by far. I hope you've been keeping up with your training Riveria" I laughed
"Of course, you said you'd test me when you came back, and if you found me lacking you'd train me from the ground up," she said shivering causing the rest of the Executives excluding Finn and Gareth to look at me confused.
"Ha, lass you've confused the youngun's" laughed Gareth "Kids back when the Loki Familia was in its infancy, during the time that the Zeus and Hera Famila were still around, Mikey here came across a little level 2 mage fighting in the dungeon on her own. After telling the little mage the way she was fighting would get her killed the little mage got angry and challenged him to a duel which she lost, easily. Then Mikey said he'd train her to not only be a proper mage in the dungeon but also a proper adventurer, and taught her not only how to fight on the front line with a bo-staff but also somehow taught her concurrent chanting. Now who do you think the little mage from my story was?" Indicating Riveria causing Ais, Lefiya, Tiona, and Tione to look at me with stars in their eyes.
"Wow you must be really strong to fight Riveria and win," said Tiona
"Pfff" snorted Finn "Before Evililus really started making a mess Reveria, Gareth and I fought him together and still lost"
"Finn, Riveria, Gareth" I whined "Stop telling people things like that about me they're going to think I'm some sort of scary demon."
"Ha the way you fought during the war on Evilus already made people think you were a demon"Sighed Hephaestus "I mean who has armor and weapons specifically for what you called 'Anti-personel combat?'"
"I do" I said seriously "afterall fighting people and fighting monster are entirely different thing's. Monsters are linear fighers meaning they only come at you the way they do in nature regardless of if they're trained or not. Where as people will fight with whatever they can get their hands on, and if they're determined enough they will try to injure you enough so that they're allies can kill you even if it cost's them their lives." I continued solemnly.
"Now my appitite has been ruined" I said standing up "Loki and Execs good to see you Riveria I'll come see you sometime next week. Heaphy I'm gonna make my way to my forge" I said walking out of the tavern.
