Danmachi: A Little Fox {Completed}

I don’t own anything except my OC. Don’t expect to find a wonderful story, that drags you into a world of intense immersion. I’m an amateur writer at best, and a terrible writer at worst. Updates will probably not be consistent, but each chapter should be atleast 10k words. Enjoy the story, or dont.

Sparks of Conflict

Sayuri sat in her home, dressed in a crop-top and a pair of short-shorts humming a tune that had appeared in her mind as she ran her fingers through her tail. Having just arrived back in the solace of her home nearly a half hour ago from a Dungeon Dive with her probationary party.

Normally, Sayuri would be cleaning around the house until Ottar returned from his Daily Dive, however Sayuri wasn't feeling particularly motivated on this gloomy day. So, she focused her ears on the sound of the heavy rain pelting the roof of her home, whilst humming a tune. One reminiscent of the first time Ottar had laid his head in her lap, one of a Lord, a mere shadow of what he once was…

The tip of her tail flicked along with the tune, as a knock at the door silenced the song as she moved to rise to her feet, only for the door to open, revealing a party of three. A smile bloomed across her face as Sayuri shot to her feet and leapt into Ottar's arms sending a welcoming smile to Freya and Bell who stood at his back.

The Little Fox went rigid as a large hand found the base of her tail, a single finger sinking into the divide of her rear, touching upon a hole she had refused to use for anything other than nature's purpose, "Ottar?!"

The large Boaz chuckled as Sayuri's palm slapped his back, his finger sinking deeper touching upon a faint wetness as Sayuri pulled back, her eyes carried a threatening glint, one that promised a long night… One that Ottar welcomed.

Freya mischievously giggled as she leaned against Bell who kept his gaze locked onto the floor, his mind engulfed in the pleasures he had experienced through the whole of the night after having his Status Updated…

Ottar quit teasing Sayuri, as she climbed down from his large frame with a soft flushed huff, her tail flicked with her movement as she twirled around while Freya hurriedly trailed behind her. Ottar shifted his gaze to Bell, to find the youth's eyes trailing HIS Naughty Fox's tail, and a large hand fell on the youth's shoulder startling the little rabbit as the white haired youth was pulled towards the dining table and forced into a seat.

Ottar's rusty orbs washed around the room, finding that Sayuri had most probably just finished the process of grooming her tail when they had arrived. The strong warm scent of vanilla filling the room only made Ottar more sure of his thoughts, before the scent was overtaken by an invasion of tea.

It hadn't taken long for the two beautiful women to step out from the kitchen, Freya carried a tray with a number of cups and a steaming tea pot, while Sayuri deftly carried a number plates bearing a large amount of food…

It was a comforting meal that stretched deep into the evening, and Ottar found himself completely drained by HIS vixen before the moon had even reached its peak… and the Naughty Fox wasn't even satisfied.

A day much like any other, a night a little more intense than any other, and having awoken to pleasure like any other morning.

Ottar was living a man's dream. Not only did he have a woman who was a Saintess in the Kitchen, better than Goddess in bed; Ottar would know—

Ottar's internal monologue continued until he found himself on the 30th Floor, and the reason it had finsihed wasn't because he ran out of reasons Sayuri was the best… No, it was because it was time to eat. He would continue when he finished with his meal…

Ottar knew better than to skip a meal, especially one made by his lovely 'Goddess'.

While Ottar did his thing, Sayuri awoke for the second time, just as she started every day since Ottar had moved in, and dragged herself to the bath.

As she cleaned herself, Sayuri conjured her 'Status'.

Sayuri's gaze washed through her Status, her gaze lingering on her new Titles before flowing down across her stats down to her Traits, where her eyes lingered on her new and evolved Traits before stopping on [Former Slave]. Sayuri couldn't wait for the day she would no longer see such a thing staining the Status laid before her…

A stifled breath slipped from her lips as she pulled herself from the heated water, the cold air washing against her wet skin sending a faint chill through her body forcing her mind to fully awaken. Forgoing getting dressed, Sayuri made her way downstairs and began to cook the 1,500 meals that she'll be selling before joining her temporary party for a Dungeon Dive.

With time seemingly slowing, Sayuri finished cooking all 1,500 in little less than two hours before making her way back up the stairs and spending half the time spent cooking finding something to wear, knowing that she'll have to change into her Adventuring Gear in a few hours. Eventually she chose to wear a skin-colored turtleneck under a cream kimono.

Sayuri spent a few minutes tying her hair back into wide, loose braids. Marking each braid with a length of red ribbon to keep their form, before checking her outfit in the mirror to make sure it settled across her body as she wished.

Content with her state of dress, and after a narcissist moment Sayuri pulled away from the mirror and began to load her, once again upgraded cart. It had been enlarged courtesy of the Gobinu Familia's craftsmen, so that Sayuri wouldn't need to make two trips to her stall/gazebo.

As she sat in her heels at her gazebo, Sayuri spotted a friendly face running up, a young man who the Little Fox has always seen covered in soot and exhausted no matter the time of day…

"Miss Shizuka! Three meals please!" The red headed youth yelled as he ran, seemingly hoping that he wouldn't be stuck in a line waiting for his meals.

Sayuri gave a polite nod as she began to gather three meals, already knowing the youths' preference…

-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-

"Ugh… Why are you calling a meeting so early in the morning…?!" Bete groaned as he rubbed his eyes, at his side a blonde youth tiredly plopped down into a seat and laid her head against the table while two amazons staggered into the room leaning against each other groggily.

A pair of elves followed, both seemingly wide awake while the Dwarf that followed behind them groaned as he brought an aleskin to his lips. Finn sat at the end of the table in the deepest part of the room, next to Loki who had a stack of boxed meals prepared for the meeting ahead.

The Goddess showed a smile, "While we wait for the last member of this meeting, why don't we eat?"

Bete's tiredness instantly faded as Loki popped open a meal, a scent wholly different from any of the boxed meals he'd tried before spreading throughout the room, catching the Wolf-Kin's gaze the Goddess showed a toothy smile, "I paid a lot for these y'know? You know how hard it is to convince that Fox to cook a personal meal?!"

Bete's eyes narrowed, finding the Meal Boxes larger than what he was used to, the fabric which contained them of a better quality and wafting a gentle warmth of vanilla to their noses…

"C'mon, hurry and eat! I have to return these boxes before the end of the day so don't think of keeping them!" Loki sternly finished before stabbing her fork into the yolk of an egg, causing its golden goodness to spill out over the hash browns and bacon it laid next to.

Finn rose from his seat passing out meal to those who didn't come to grab one themselves, Bete was the quickest using the most of his status to secure himself a meal and opening it with a pop to find two large eggs, a few links of sausage, a handful of bacon, two hash browns, a number of pancake slivers, and four pieces of toast all on one side of the Meal box, with the other side having a length of seared salmon, a small bowl of oatmeal mixed with assorted berries, and finished with a small bowl of biscuits drowned in a whitish-grey meaty gravy…

Bete's eyes contracted as drool began to pool in his cheeks, just as he was about to dig into his meal two glasses were placed next to him one filled with orange juice, the other with milk…

For the briefest of moments Bete closed his eyes, before they shot open and he began to dig into his meal, shoveling it into his mouth as he savored every last moment of the food laid before him…

However, as he was halfway through his meal, his eyes rose to find a certain Fox looming over those in the room with a polite smile, her hands clasped in her lap as her cerulean orbs washed over those present. Bete stiffened as those eyes met his own, a sharpness touched upon his mind as the Little Fox send him a faint nod, gesturing for him to continue his meal…

When had she walked in?! Bete hadn't even heard her steps! Not important… Bete returned to his meal…

With a mouthful of food, Loki spoke, "Hmm? I thought you'd be busy until noon…"

The Goddess' words trailed off as the Little Fox glared, "Goddess Loki, it's improper to speak with a mouthful. Please finish your food before speaking."

"Mhm," Loki hummed as she turned her focus back to the meal before her while Sayuri moved to pour Riviera a cup of warm tea. Only then did Bete realize; from the corner of his eye, that the Little Fox stood next to a tray with an assortment of beverages… If only she wasn't Ottar's mate…

As for the blonde youth in the room, she had already devoured her meal and was currently nursing a cup of tea mimicking the movements of the jade haired elf at her side. Who had equally devoured her meal, with a surprising amount of grace.

The youth's golden orbs washed over the cream kimono the woman wore, those golden orbs momentarily lingering on the depth of the V that would have shown a great amount of cleavage if not for the skin-colored turtleneck underneath. The Little Fox's clothing was loose enough to show the true size of the bust occasionally hidden beneath thick layers of cloth… The youth's eyes fell to her own chest, finding it lacking in size before drifting back up to the Kitsune, who sent the youth a small polite smile.

For some reason, a spark of an unfamiliar sensation arose in the youth's chest…

Riveria, who spied the whole silent exchange only shook her head, knowing the pain and difficulty that came with such a figure and spared the Little Fox a knowing look, which the Kitsune returned with a faintly larger polite smile.

The Elf momentarily thought whether she should stop binding her chest, but eventually shook the thought from her mind. It wasn't worth the hassle, and she had grown used to them being tightly contained… She couldn't flaunt/reveal such a figure as the Little Fox could… Perhaps it was a matter of upbringing… No, it was definitely due to Loki's perverse habits… Something the Goddess didn't dare to turn towards the Fox in the room.

"Oi, lass," Gareth spoke, washing down the last of his meal with a swig from his aleskin, "When ya an Ottar getting married?"

Sayuri's smile grew softer, as she softly shook her head, her soft comforting voice washing through the room, "We will not be getting married. Ottar and I had extensively spoken about our relationship, and despite the benefits that marriage would bring. It isn't in our minds."

"A shame…" Gareth leaned back in his seat, "What about children?"

Sayuri stiffened, her head slightly tilting, as her voice washed through the room once more, "Sadly, I'm infertile…"

"Ah, sorry…" Gareth hurriedly apologized, but Sayuri shook her head.

"It's fine, you haven't been the first to ask, nor will you be the last."

An awkward silence filled the room, as Gareth sunk into his seat. Internally cursing himself for bringing up such a subject…

Why was this woman so difficult to speak to?!

Haa… Gareth's gaze rose to the ceiling only for Sayuri to continue, a hint of caution and worry in her tone, "D-Do you think—" Sayuri shook her head, silencing her question before it could even be asked…

However… Gareth had implanted such a thought into her mind…

How adorable would their children be…?

Sayuri couldn't help but imagine…

A near silent mutter slipped from her lips, "…Perhaps one day…"

Loki stiffened as the mutter found her ears… A truth…

-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-

Sayuri quickly returned home, a sack full of empty meal boxes draped over her shoulder as she swiftly readied herself to meet her temporary party outside the dungeon.

Dressed in her leathers, with a kimono draped around her shoulder where a short spear rested, Sayuri made her way out into the streets of Orario. Knowing that once again she would most probable in the rear of the formation, leaving the brunt of attacking to the others until they have caught up to Sayuri's strength.

It wouldn't do any of them any good if Sayuri didn't allow them any excelia, and while it would probably annoy Loki. As the Goddess wouldn't be gaining any information about the Little Fox's fighting style, skills, or magic…

It allowed Sayuri to thoroughly check the floors she had blitzed through in her moment of desperation, when she was drowning in dark thoughts. There was no need to hurry through the dungeon…

It's sat there for hundreds—thousands of years, it wouldn't spontaneously erupt if Sayuri wasn't actively slaughtering its inhabitants…

Elsewhere, a figure stalked the Little Fox. Indescribable mutters flowing from his lips, as an obsessive glint filled his eyes. A book filled his left hand, was opened and its pages rapidly flipped through revealing a large assortment of drawings…

All of the Little Fox he stalked…

Freya moaned as she pulled away from Bell's panting figure, the both of them were drenched in sweat. The moon was the only light invading the penthouse Freya rented, the whole of her body was sore in a manner that Ottar could never bring to her…

Somehow the little rabbit had more endurance, than the Boaz many levels above him… Something Freya had pondered on a great number of times, as no matter how many times the little rabbit was brought to release, he always rises after a few minutes of rest…

Even after finishing for the 40th time today alone, Bell was still ready to go… but sadly Freya needed a break, or her Odr would end up breaking not only her body but her mind.

With a goofy smile staining her face, Freya's hands cupped her stomach where the heavy warmth invaded the depths of her being. She always felt so happy whenever she was filled to the brim with her Odr's love, and the only thing that was better than the white goodness that filled both her womb and stomach, was the meaty weight pilfering her depths, and her mind of reason.

She needed to find him others, or she would be incapable of keeping up with her Odr…

Thus, it was time to initiate Project Harem…

Never would she allow her Odr, HER Bell to remain unsatisfied…

As she sank into her throne, trying to ignore the faint pain that soaked through her rear, she pulled a stack of papers from her desk, using them to not only sort through only the most beautiful, most worthy women in not only her familia, but those in other familia's as well…

Sadly the most worthy woman, the only woman Freya would consider sharing the title of First Wife with was taken…

Freya would gather only the most sexually endowed, most beautiful, most caring, loving, adorable women for HER Odr…

Then she would watch as he ruined them all…

Freya believed-knew, that only she could keep her mind intact after the ravaging of HER little rabbit…

No, Sayuri would definitely survive…

No, Sayuri would definitely break her Little Rabbit… If the number of beds Ottar had to buy was anything to go by… Not to mention his drained expression whenever he arrives to update his status, Sayuri most definitely kept his balls empty…

Sayuri was a beast, a Goddess in the sheets…

One that Freya would be proud to have among the Divine…

Sayuri momentarily paused as she mounted Ottar, the Boaz giving a grunt as he slowly filled her warm depth…

[Elsewhere]

A stalwart figure watched as a Power Bill charged him. Instead of evading the thunderous charge, he raised his hand where he held onto an unassuming Meal Box, wrapped in cheap dungeon linen…

As the Power Bull's skull met the box, a dull thud rang out stunning the monster long enough for the figure to behead the monster with a heavy axe… A smile appeared on his face.

Not only was the meal in his hands far cheaper than a shield that could survive this deep in the dungeon, but it was also an amazing source of nutrients in the dungeon's depths…

Though, not long ago such a meal could barely survive the impact from a Minotaur's attack, yet now it could halt a Power Bull's charge…

"Loki would be pleased…" The figure turned to a blonde Halfling who sat some distance away, cutting down any monsters that approached daring to impede the experiments their Goddess had sent them to conduct…

-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-

"Imbue—Death," Sayuri lightly stepped forward her hand gently touching upon a War Shadow's back before it could drive it dark hand into Bell's skull while Aria flung a dart attached to a wire skewering a Frog Shooter, who's outstretched tongue had been stopped by Drago's sheild, Sayuri's comforting voice filled Bell's ears, "You're too focus on what's in front… Kill, Turn, Kill, Turn… Remember, monsters don't only come from the passages."

"Y-Yes, sorry…"

"Don't be sorry…" Sayuri spoke lightly a shadow of a smile gracing her face as she half-flourished half-thrusted her spear killing an Andre that had fell from the ceiling before stepping back into the rear of the formation once more to begin harvesting the magic crystals with a deft grace.

The party lulled for a long moment to allow Sayuri to finish harvesting the monsters, before continuing along. The Little Fox ignored the glances Aria; the Halfling, sent her way after having seen her Instant Death magic in action for the first time.

"Imbue—Light," Sayuri's teeth dug into her bottom lip as she forcibly manifested a magic she has little experience with, it was among the newest to her collection of Spells, and much like the others that she had yet to fully understand—comprehend, it drew heavily on her 'Mind'.

The orb of light manifested above her palm after a flicker of a white geometric shape, she pushed her hand forward causing the Orb of Light to float ahead illuminating the dark passage before them. Allowing Bell to catch sight of a Frog Shooter moments before its tongue launched outward, an exclamation shot from his mouth as he leapt to the side leaving Aria open to the attack—

"No!" Drago roared as he leapt forward his shield raised, incepting the bullet-like tongue halfway as Bell moved to recover, Aria twirled her wire a half turn around her body before the dart on its end shot forward piercing through the monster, as Bell found himself blocking a shadowy blade-like finger.

Sayuri rolled forward onto the balls of her feet as she readied her spear, a soft chant rolling off her tounge as she pushed into a leaping pivot, "Imbue—Release."

Sayuri burst forward with speed unbefitting of a Level 2, her spear flashing in the light cast by the Orb of Light, drawing a line of shadow through the War Shadow whilst appearing at Bell's side with a soft breath. Her cerulean orbs bearing down on Bell as the youth steadied himself, "Still wish to continue?"

Bell stiffened at her voice, still carrying the same polite softness despite the fact that he had almost been torn to ribbons by a Monster he was in no manner ready to face…

Bell shook his head, "I don't think I'm ready…"

Sayuri gave a faint nod as she used her sleeve to wipe her spear's blade; somehow it hadn't been dirtied this whole time, "You're more than ready, simply lacking the right thoughts. Remember, I did this without a Blessing, you simply need to become accustomed to the Monsters you'll face."

Bell slowly nodded his head, feeling the weight of his incompetence as her words came to a close and the Little Fox turned away her cerulean orbs washing over the other members of the party as their gazes shifted from her previous position to her frame.

Today's Dungeon Dive has pulled much more out of Sayuri than all the previous Dives have… With Bell far outside of a Floor he can comfortably manage, and Aria and Drago mainly focusing on defense and reactive actions instead of proactive slaughter, Sayuri was forced to show her 'hand' in the dungeon.

Something Sayuri was by no means happy about…

Not the fact that she had to reveal her magic, or anything of the sort, as she wasn't actively trying to hide it… What bothered Sayuri was the fact that they had purposely removed themselves from Bell, practically forcing Sayuri to move to protect him instead of fulfilling their proper roles in the party… She, who had taken the role of a support upon herself, was forced into the frontline by the incompetence of her Defender, and Secondary Damage Dealer…

Part of her wished to kill them, and allow the dungeon to feast on their corpses, but that was simply an intrusive thought that hadn't even needed to be shaken away as it faded into obscurity on its own in a realization of its own foolishness. Sayuri will simply speak to Loki and have her Temporary Party members interchanged, it wasn't as if she needed them…

The Little Fox was more than capable enough to guide Bell through the Dungeon up to the 9th Floor, and it wasn't as if he'd need to delve much further to reach Level 2 without a death wish… Sure, it'd probably take longer if he wasn't actively seeking death, but that was only if he'd survive…

Pushing her thoughts to the side, Sayuri turned to Bell as he carved open the War Shadow and plucked out its Magic Crystal only for a Shadowy Finger to manifest from the ashes brought upon by its crumbling form.

A small smile shown on Bell's face as he brought both to a small sack tied to his belt, a smile that cramped as he found Sayuri looking down at his crouching figure… The youth shrunk as a heat rose to his face…

There was something about the Little Fox that caused his heart to race…

Little did he know, it was all about a great number of traits— The Tail. The, oh so, magnificent Tail. Sayuri might strangle somebody should they say otherwise, her tail was her most beautiful aspect. Not even Ottar dared to say otherwise…

As they slowly made their way back to the surface, with Sayuri slowly growing the distance between herself and Bell as they passed each floor, Sayuri stopped as they reached the staircase to the First Floor. Her quiet, near silent steps coming to a halt didn't find purchase in their ears as she watched them ascend, only to catch eyes as Bell turned around. Sayuri's smile grew soft as she sent him a nod, and silent blessing drawing a faint arc with her hand as they both turned around…

Bell continued to the Surface, as Sayuri softly chanted, "Imbue—Release—Release—Release"

Sayuri's figure disappeared from the unaided eye, swiftly flowing through the perhaps her favorite passage through the Second Floor that edged upon a few Pantry's. It was a far from the regularly taken route through this particular Floor, but it lead onto a relatively untraveled section of the Third Floor, that lead into a normally untrave—

'BOOM'

Sayuri stumbled to a slow with a wince as an explosion filled her ears, her tail flicked with a sharp annoyance as her right ear turned slightly catching the faint sound of distant chittering—

One that she knew all too familiar, with her gaze growing tempered and her body low she kicked to the side as she entered an intersection, nearly buckling under the recoil of the sudden turn, "—Release", before bursting forward in a raw manipulation of mana.

A focus grew upon her mind, pulling it all to the 'center' of her mind, and the world grew quiet…

'Fu—'

'Fu—'

An aged Elf desperately swung his sword, his shields locked in place and under attack by a number of Killer Ants, drenched in sweat from the realization of how uncomfortable his armor was… How dull his sword was… How weak he was… Unable to even finish a thought in his own mind, as it ran with memories of old times… How heavy everything was…

In that moment something touched upon his mind, telling him to just let it go, to fall to his knees and accept the death that had been decided. Everything except he who has found acceptance froze long enough to all the man to fall to his knees and look up as his eyes closed—"Imbue—Wind, Preseration."

In that unnatural moment the only thing he could hear was a warm voice, the scent of warm vanilla filled his nose and his gaze fell to find a shower of viscera and carapaces, every pivoting swipe of the blurred figures spear cleaved through a monster bringing a delayed cleave cutting through whatever remained in that spot.

Before the aged Elf could even find his sword, or his feet the figure turned, quickly slowing bringing clarity to their form she kicked off the ground seemingly muttering something as she blurred forward a light impact touched upon his shoulder as her voice sounded once more, "Imbue—Protection, Protection, Preservation. Imbue—Wind, Preservation."

'Something' seeped into his skin, it was a coldness that invaded the whole of his body leaving nothing untouched sending a sharp chill through his mind. One that brought a contradicting sense of security…

"Imbue—Flame, Preservation" The elf found his blade as twelve flashes of heat rapidly washed across his body, but he wasn't given the time to turn as a Tongue launched his way, the light of the flame allowing him to secure the timing to kick to the side in his half crouched state, unfortunately throwing himself into a Killer Ant.

He managed to raise his blade—

"Imbue—Flame—Wall", a thin wave of flames engulfed the Killer Ant from the side blocking off the approach of a dozen more allowing the Elf to finally rise on his feet as the woman faded from view once more with a mutter he didn't hear as his focus was grabbed by a Blue Papillo lingering in the distance, a mixture of dread and hope filled his mind. He almost ran for it the moment he saw it…

To heal himself, but a moment of thought brought the dread of the realization of the dust falling from its wings…

Sayuri brought her short spear in two crossing arcs as she half turned, thrusting through a monster as she lightly pushed forward using the next arc of her spear to dislodge the monster and attack another as her free hand stretched outward, her voice falling union no sentient ears, "Imbue—Flame—Wind, Protection."

Her palm flashed with two geometric shapes drawing a deep red upon her gloved hand for a brief moment before a gust of flame exploded into manifestation shooting forward in a vague elliptical burst of flame.

Sayuri's brows furrowed deeply at the unreasonable drain of her 'Mind', only for the familiar ache to immediately fade from her mind as if it was never there…

As the spell burst in a small explosion of roaring flames, bringing no small amount of pain to Sayuri's ears as her eyes locked onto a floating blue oversized butterfly in the distance, her smile grew into a faint grin as she reached into her pouch pulling out a Creamy Wing before bursting forward arriving at the near dead man's side, "Use this and run."

Before he could even realize what she had put into his hand, she sprinted off into the distance, slaughtering her way all the way to the Blue Papillo…

Sayuri put the adventurer into the back of her mind, as she mentally prepared herself for the absolute hell the Little Fox was about to put herself through…

As he crushed the wing, the man could only stare at the back of the woman he had only just then recognized…

The Saintess so many have spoken about, the Priestess of Blessings and Beauty… With a silent almost subconscious moment of gratitude to the Little Fox; who had most definitely saved his life on purpose, and most definitely didn't want to involve herself in an attempt of genocide in Dungeon Life… A surreal warmth invaded his being, easing his wounds and bringing a wave of relief to his mind.

Somehow, his luck found him appearing at the stairway to the 6th floor…

While Sayuri basked in the healing dust of a Blue Papillo, in the midst of an Ant Swarm, with no thought of retreating… Ottar had once told her that even the dungeon would stop sending them, and she wanted to see it for herself.

Not that she doubted her Mate, Sayuri simply wanted to experience it. Thus, even if she edged upon Mind Down three times, Sayuri would see—feel—experience it for herself…

Without calling upon her Mind or manipulating her Mana, Sayuri drew twisted arcs with her spear, shifting and turning around the wide area of the healing dust with flowing steps. The long blade following her movements like a deadly ribbon, cutting through any monster that drew within range.

The difference from before joining a Familia, from before Leveling Up… It was tremendous…

Her spear found no resistance as her strength assured her blade wouldn't slow, while her movements have never felt so simplistic… It felt as if it was too easy, as if no thought was needed to fend against the swarm that tried to engulf her.

It was almost disheartening, if not for the prospect of watching as the Dungeon itself gave up…

Sayuri fell low as she spun on her toes, her spear drawing a wide continuous arc as she shot to her feet bounding towards the jagged stone ceiling, she lulled in the air watched as the swathe she had cut through filled itself with a stream of monsters as she fell back to the ground in the midst of the chittering and clicking swarm, "Imbue—Flame, Perservation."

A line of flames washed down the shaft of her spear before condensing upon its blade, every swipe of her spear causing a combustion within those it cut through instantly burning through her foes reducing them to ash…

Sayuri had little need for Magic Crystals or Dungeon Drops, as she had no small amount of Valis filling her Guild Account. Thus, she had no issues with absolutely demolishing whatever came her way, leaving only the Blue Papillo overhead… "Imbue—Wind, Preservation."

The Little Fox wielded her spear as if it was a greatsword, using the magical winds that encased her weapon, and the delayed cleaves it brought to create a small area around herself that left anything that entered dead. Using the delayed winds to fill the gaps the differing arcs brought, as she swung into a half turn with every half step.

Every breath brought another half step, half turn, wide arc…

Her movements slowly formed into a dance that drew momentarily pictures in the air with the viscera her spear pulled from the monsters, from the splatters of blood sent flying by the sharp gusts of wind that shadowed each drawn arc.

Time slipped from Sayuri's perception, as she fell into a jagged rhythm, a rhythm that broke upon itself and changed with every dozen breaths, morphing and changing into a new dance, a new display of viscera…

Unaware that she had an audience…

-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-

Ottar sank into the couch, with naught but a pair of briefs to veil his form as he heaved a long sigh. It had been the first time that he arrived home, only to find Sayuri missing…

Assuming she had lingered in the dungeon, or left to enjoy drinks with Freya at the Hostess of Fertility. Ottar took the time he had alone at home, to simply relax knowing that for a while he wouldn't be wrung dry…

He loved that Naughty Fox… but damn was it difficult to keep up with the Vixen…

Ottar didn't believe he had 'won' one of their 'battles' since coupling with Sayuri, and he once had the sexual confidence to say that he could match Freya at one point. Yet, even then, it was not enough to exhaust his mate…

If one knew of their antics, they could possibly say that Ottar found his 'winnings' in the morning but he would only laugh at the statement… As he only 'won' because Sayuri was too tired, and still satisfied from the night before…

Though, he could only find the light of day every morning, not a hint of darkness could be found in his mind, nor the lack of a smile…

Ottar truly had it made, he believed—knew it was the truth. Not only did Sayuri cook, wash both of their clothes, manage his wardrobe; in a manner that he is never lacking/missing clothes, and manage the whole of the estate; including the spotted gardens, but Sayuri even went as far to pull in her own Valis; something she ignores to do while Adventuring…

Her income was nearly a quarter of Ottar's, and that spoke loudly as he commonly delves into the late 30th Floors, and early 40th Floor… Something no other Adventurer does solo, but Ottar knew that soon Sayuri would be doing much the same.

That Fox's potential was frightening, or as Freya had put it 'blindingly brilliant' to the point that the Goddess refused to accept Sayuri into her own Familia, speaking of abstract concepts such as Karma, and other things that were [Redacted] from his hearing…

All he managed to understand was that Bell and himself had already strained Freya enough, and that the Goddess would only be under more strain with Sayuri inducted…

Something, Freya knew Loki would feel as Sayuri grew stronger, the same as Freya had felt when Ottar had… A strain Zeus and Hera had endured, one that stretched their Divinity far too thin and left them adhered to their Mortal Vessels. Stuck in the 'lower realm' until they recuperate what they had lost, or 'died'…

Leaning back into the couch; sinking into its plush cushions, Ottar stared up at the ceiling only to recall the rumors he had heard recently, the faint whispers of Evilus once more.

Rumors spread quickly, and were volatile…

If they sprung up once more, after years of being silent, there must be weight behind them. No matter how small, or hidden they may be.

Evilus had returned.

"Lord… I have brought the man as you wished," A masked figure bowed as he entered the room, an unkempt figure strolling into the room behind the figure looking up at the throne of decrepit stone in the damp, musky room he had been brought to…

The figure sat upon the throne wore a simple mask that veiled the upper half of their face, with their chin resting against their fist, they looked down upon the unkempt figure who equally scrutinized the sitting figure… Feeling the faint waves of divinity clutching to their frame.

"We, Evilus, have a need for your Magic. Your time will be well compensated, and until your called upon all your amenities will be met. Until then, don't leave Orario. When you are called upon, you'll be the spear that ends the Titans of this City, the guiding hand of Destruction… While we will be the hammer that shatters the Seal of the Dungeon…

Rejoice, for the Age of Chaos is upon us!"

The Divine Figure shot from his seat to his feet, his arms spread wide as he unleashed the full weight of his insanity through his words…

'This…' A figure concealed within the shadows watched with wide eyes, as the woman who she had been instructed to follow appeared as nothing more than a bloody silhouette within the storm of flesh and blood. The glittering dust of the Blue Papillo she kept alive healed every injury, on both herself and the horde of Killer Ants she was facing.

Everything within two steps radius of the Kitsune was reduced to slabs of chitin and viscera, creating mounds throughout the room as she trailed under the blue butterfly.

The short spear in her hands little more than dull grey streaks, as it flowed between the both of her hands with arcing slashes in a manner more reminiscent of movement of a double edged sword.

'This is maddening….' After the first few hours, the stalker couldn't even find the timing to retreat, let alone pull her eyes from the display laid out in front of her. She felt a strong urge to witness the woman's slaughter, one that had not been conjured by her own mind…

One that had been embedded within her being, by a force far beyond her own comprehension. It felt akin to a warning, but not one that was directed at herself…

Perhaps for the one who she would report to…

Finally… After 8 Hours, the stream of monsters began to slow, as their numbers rapidly dwindled, only arriving in small sparse groups until not a single one entered the room, even after a dozen minutes…

The stalker couldn't believe her eyes, and immediately took the chance to retreat…

Only for her foot to find a loose Magic Crystal—

"—Release."

"!Kguek!" The wall groaned as the scraps of the kimono fell from the Kitsune's back, the Fox's hand gripping her neck painfully pressing her against the wall.

Those cerulean orbs peered into the depths of the stalker's pupils with an ominous focus, only for those eyes to dim and shift elsewhere—

A sickening crack rang out as Sayuri violently twisted her wrist, her fingers tore through flesh crushing the cloaked figures windpipe. The figure crumpled, and Sayuri heaved a sigh staring down at the tattered remains of her Kimono, disheartened that it hadn't survived…

It was one of her favorites; Sayuri loved all her clothes equally…

Flicking her hand to fling off the loose blood and flesh, Sayuri's gaze fell to her hand, then the body before a cold chant rolled off her tongue, "Imbue—Fire—Wave. Imbue—Protection, Protection, Preservation."

Finishing her Double Protection Magic just as the wave of fire rebounded from the wall, she allowed the flames to wash over her body; having pulled the protection magic to her skin/fur/hair, allowing the intense heat burn away all the filth littering her body…

Though her fur, hair, and skin would all need a serious scrubbing; especially her poor tail, Sayuri turned to watch as the wave of flame consumed the whole width of the room, supplying it enough mana to cause even Ottar some discomfort. Sayuri turned and left, intent on returning home and spoiling herself with a deep cleansing.

Utilizing her 'crude' acceleration/movement Magic, Sayuri flew through the Floors of the dungeon, bursting out of its depths with no intention of slowing down…

She had caught a whiff of her hair, and it disgusted her… Sayuri didn't even wish to ponder on the absolute travesty that flicked with annoyance behind her…

As she stepped into her house—

(A/N: Developmental Skill {Hunter} has been slightly changed — Improves abilities against monsters that the user has fought before and gained excelia from. Minutely increases Excelia Gain from monsters User has not gained Exceila from. Decreased Excelia Gain from {Type} monsters the more Excelia Gained from {Type} monsters. Can only be obtained at Level 2

To be blunt — Killed 1,000 {Type} — Want to kill a 1,000 more…? Every {Type} Killed = Lesser Excelia Gained

This would mean that at one point… The Excelia Gian would be unnoticeable/nonexistent depending on the amount of {Type} killed…

Let's say the {Type} is Goblins, and Sayuri just nuked a whole city of them… and she's one point from having comfortable enough stats to comfortably Level Up… Well, she'll need to nuke two more cities full of them, because [Hunter] said fuck the Grind, stop being a pansy, and kill some new shit…

This is WILL be needed, as Sayuri has a mental problem with killing Killer Ants enmasse… Can't have the MC rapidly leveling, or I'll have to pull some {Writer Bullshit} and completely fuck the power levels by turning literally everyone into walking imploding stars… because it will grow to the point that even walking nukes are cannon fodder without the above mentioned change…

Plus, it would for Sayuri(Author) to delve deeper into the dungeon…

Which means I'll have to actually plan more Dungeon Floors…

Haaa… That shit sucks…

Long A/N in the middle of the chapter?! Impudence! …Sorry, I am really tired amidst writing this, and will most probably forget to sort through this A/N, and make it easier to understand/shorter/less idiotic…

Anyways… Should I start including Skill Info into the Status?

Sayuri caught Ottar's gaze, as he lazily turned his head to find her in her Adventuring equipment, and his eyes narrowed already understanding where Sayuri had been all day…

A smile came to his face, as he spied the smile that adorned her rosy lips. Twisting them upward in a subtle manner, that roused something primal deep within… As she licked her hips…

It seemed his Naughty Fox had returned…
