"Y'know, I was a bit surprised that the 'Bloodsoaked Duo' were interested in joining up with my crew." Maine said as he leaned back on the couch as we were both in a Private Room at Lizzie's Bar to have a chat.

But it wasn't just me as I brought Briar along while Maine called up Dorio, Pilar and there current Netrunner Sasha.

(N) Sasha was the Netrunner before Kiwi joined up in case you don't know her, but before the anime started she died and was later replaced by Kiwi as a result of her death, also it wasn't until Kiwi joined did Lucy join up in the crew so she isn't here yet, neither is Falco either.

"Haaa, man don't call me that too, she's the crazy one not me." I say pointing my thumb over at her as she was drinking some cherry looking soda.

"Hey! Don't through me under the bus like that Hifumi!" Briar said looking offended by what I said as I squinted my eyes.

"Briar you cut people up into pieces with a smile on your face, and if it wasn't for me getting you cleaned up after every gig where we needed to kill a lot of people your skin would have been stained red with blood already." I say to her as she looks away while trying, and failing, to whistle like it's not her who does that all the time.

"You sure she isn't a high functioning CyberPsycho-GAH!?! Dorio?! What the hell choom?!" Pilar was saying before he got a heavy hit upside the head from her.

"Ahh? I knew you were stupid, but I don't think you'd be this much of an idiot. Really you gonna say that to her with a straight face when your sister is known for going crazy on missions where we end up killing a lot of people?" She says as she pushes her finger into his head forcing him to shrink back due to her strength, she's an Ex-Animal after all.

"She's right Pilar, you got no ground to say that with what Becca gets up to on missions." Sasha chimes in while she's surfing the web on her Laptop.

"Well…." I scratch my chin and look at Briar who looks back at me and shrugs as it doesn't really bother her that much since she's not close with them, it's more painful/mean if I said it without her okay.

"Pilar isn't exactly…. Wrong with what he said but not right either, she has Renfield's syndrome or clinical Vampirism, but it's controlled thanks to the berserk biochip in her neck, but if she gets into a fight it will end up like what the rumors say and you get Little Bloody Mary." I say to them which gets most of them a bit of a surprised look hearing about her being basically a vampire in a sense.

"But before you all get nervous her Biochip makes it so she can easily tell friends from enemies so she won't go and kill you if she goes berserk." I say calmly as I lean back as they look at eachother before Maine shrugs.

"I've seen weirder shit, meeting a vampire girl isn't even in the top 20 in my book, and seeing that Hifumi here isn't dead just from being around her on dangerous missions where it ends up as a bloody mess for everyone involved so I'll take his words at face value." Maine says which gets everyone else to calm down.

"That being said we should put your skills as Mercs to the test before we bring you into the crew officially." Maine says rubbing his chin but Pilar cuts in.

"Whoa, what the hell Maine? You letting some new bloods into the crew but not letting my sis join officially?" Pilar said sounding displeased with the whole situation.

"Alright, Alright, we will let her in as well while seeing how well our groups mesh with each other as well." He says waving it off before he made a call as his eyes glowed beneath his shades.

"Yo Regina how it going?…. Yeah I need a Gig for some of my new members of my crew…. Yeah they got experience, you should know the Bloodsoaked Duo and Becca right?…. Yeah I'm making it official for her….. well got any gigs where you don't mind if they go in loud?…. Mmhm…. Yeah that should work…. Alright send them the detes and they'll get on it." He said before hanging up the call before looking at us as me and Briar got texts from Regina as well as Rebecca since it was a group text.

"So one of the solos stopped the Maelstrom from Kelping some Militech gear on Militechs behalf, and while the convoy was able to escape them, our Merc by the name of Rodrigez, wasn't so lucky, usually he would be killed on the spot right? Well their leader, a guy named Brick, decided to take him and try to get a ransom out of him from Militech as they think he is someone kinda important but Militech ain't that nice, but his girlfriend is willing to pay to save him, so the jobs Simple, get Rodrigez out alive and you get paid, whether you wanna do it loud or quiet is up to you so long as Rodrigez gets out it don't matter, good news both Brick and his right hand Royce are out in the badlands, and those two being the only guys who can operate their personal mech gears the job is much easier and much less dangerous as well." Maine said as he gave us a simple explanation of the Gig we're gonna do.

"The location is the abandoned All-Foods Factory in North Watson, as far as we know his Biomonitor is still working so he's not dead so go there and get him out." He says as he finishes saying what he needs to say.

"You will meet up with Becca in the parking lot not far from the All-Foods and plan how you want to go about it." He said giving us the meet up location.

I stand up, "Well then, this should be fun, will be back with the good news, C'mon Briar let's go have fun." I say getting up as Briar waves goodbye as we leave the private room.

"…. You think they will be fine? That Briar girl is basically another Becca but instead of guns she uses her claws and Monowire to rip people to shreds." Dorio says towards main who just smiles.

"I think they'll be fine, and I get the feeling both Becca and Briar will get real close real quick since they like violence after all, it's more about how well Hifumi and Becca mesh will show how good the group will be with them added, but since he can handle Briar I think they will get along, well not before she puts a gun up to his head that is." He just chuckles before drinking some more.

"So, will we let them in on the Biotechinca Gig?" Sasha asks as its a pretty big and important one, especially for her since she has history with Biotechnica.

"Hmmm, if what I heard about Hifumi is right then he's probably the best bet to be your backup when you infiltrate that place later on since he nearly does all of his jobs perfectly with only the ones where he has to go in loud where troubles happen." Maine says as he looks at my Merc data specifically.

"So there already in the crew? Then what's the point of this test then?" Pilar asked as he grabbed some chips to eat.

"Besides seeing how well they mesh with us? Also see how they deal with things going south if they do and how they work under pressure are the main things I want to see in all of this." He says before sitting back and relaxing.

No matter what it will work out in the end…. Probably.
