Building a Trade Empire Pt. 1

Soon enough I reappeared in the world of One Piece, specifically within my office of my store here on Shabody.

"Good, looks like Morgan's has put in the work and put my name out there for my one store to get famous that people are coming to stop by at, though it seems Celestial Dragons haven't taken notice yet or my fame points would have gotten known and they would have begun to pay a visit in the two and a half months I've been away.

It's been so only 8 days during the time I was gone but it was 80 days here with 1 to 10 ratio on the time difference between worlds going on at the moment.

During that time I felt Archer using his Noble Phantasm once as I gave him free reign to do so as he saw fit, so he showed a bit of force to make sure that the pirates that came to buy things didn't fuck around with my shop.

I soon headed out of my office and walked down the stairs to see my store bustling with activity while Archer was using the male and female human Homunculi to be the cashiers to take care of our customers while Archer had his own office in back to keep track of the sales.

Something that wasn't a problem for the man as he was in his old life a college math teacher, even if it was just a front he still needed to understand mathematics and had a clearly good understanding of the Stockmarket to earn a fortune legally while making a fortune illegally through the black market dealings across Europe.

Archer himself was manning the bar area of the store where he was serving drinks to the paying customers that were here as this place wasn't like Shakky's where she would intentionally rip people off, but what I learned later as they would assume, based on the design of the store, that things here would be to expensive so they would go to Shakky's instead, only to be ripped off even more than what they need to pay here making her gain plenty of profit in the process as a result.

"Ahh, Young Master, you have returned." Archer said as he looked back at me as I approached the counter.

Hearing this the not so drunk people at the bar took a good look at me as I began to hear whispers between them, mostly in surprise that a kid such as myself had such a big operation going on here in Shabody.

"How have things been Archer?" I ask as I get behind the bar and sit on one of the stools we had back here.

"Business has been good, it took roughly two weeks before word around the island of our stores presence before we started to see customers come in to get our products, and about two weeks ago our friend Morgan's open up his 'World Economic News' officially while working with the World Government to release the news, and the first issue advertised our store, and that's when we got a much larger influx of customers." Archer says as he wiped down a shot glass as he looked at me.

"Well good, and with daily advertisements from now on we will be getting more and more foot traffic, not only that we will be opening up new stores across the world soon enough." I say with a nod as I pulled up the trade panel before my eyes.

Now if this was during the events of One Piece, 50 million berry isn't really that much, but this is more than 30 years before cannon if you take that into account it would be more like 500 to 750 million berries overall.

Not only that but I don't need to pay wages as the Homunculi live to serve and if Archer needs anything it only requires a small amount of SP on my account compared to all the money and SP on top it all I'm making.

"Well, I'm going to head off and start opening more stores with our earnings." I say as I get up and head into the back area out of eyesight of the customers.

"Have fun Young Master." Archer waved me off as I left before cutting space and transporting myself back to Whole Cake Island.

I reappear in my manor before leaving it to notify the chess guards to tell LinLin I'm coming to visit her which they run off to tell her of my return and arrival.

"Mama Mama! It's so good to see you again so soon big brother! What brings you here today?" She asks me from her throne before she grabs some candy and pops it in her mouth.

"Oh nothing much LinLin, besides stopping by to say hello, I was planning to open my second store in Totto Land so I wanted to let you know ahead of time." I went into explain to her.

"Oh I see, I have been getting that new Newspaper that the World Government has introduced that is worldwide now, and I'm guessing that fancy store in Shabody that they talk about in the paper must be yours." She says after deducing easily that it's my store the paper talks about all the time.

"Yep, I found an aspiring Journalist with a big dream, so I bet on that dream and it payed off, now my store will always be advertised in the front few pages every day from now on, and hey, constant exposure is good exposure when it comes to big business." I go onto explain to her, while I grabbed some candy that was offered to me by one of the servant chess pieces and ate it as well.

"Mama! Will it have those foods that I can only get when I'm at the GameLands of yours as well?" She said with a bit of excitement in her voice.

"Of course you can, there's going to be a whole food court in the store I build here that will easily be able to make those fast foods along with those drinks at a quick and cheap rate, plus all the other things that are offered in my store." The stores are customizable letting some have options that other stores don't.

Shabody and Big Mom's store would have the option to buy Homunculi and maybe a future store when I get enough noteriety to set up in Mary Genoise directly as in a way it's another form of Slavery which the WG, at least in front of the masses, frowns upon, so only those three would have the full options of all races where the other stores would only have access to Human Homunculi and none of the other races.

Hearing this brought a smile to her face, "That's fantastic! Well this goes without saying but your store is welcome here in my territory and even here on my main island! So long as it brings us profit for you and increased strength for me the better for all of us." She said very excited at the prospect of the second, soon enough in a few years time she will have a strong overwhelming force to signify the recreation of the Charlotte Family pirates with the dissolution of the Rocks Pirates a few months back.

"So, where do you plan to set up the next store of yours?" She decided to ask as she was rather intrigued with what my stores had to offer.

"Well I'm thinking to set up one major one in each of the four seas, three more here in the New World, and two more back on the paradise side of the Grandline for a total of 11 set up at least for now." I say giving a bit of an explanation to her.

Flevance in North Blue, the Goa Kingdom in East Blue, Baterilla in South Blue and O'Hara in West Blue, the Paradise side would have Alabasta and the Drum Kingdoms with the New World having Zou, Wano and Elbaf.

But since I'm in the New World, we will start here and make our way around the New World before heading elsewhere.

And I think the country of Samurai is a good of place as any, and I think a certain daimyo would be very interest in the tales of the world outside.

And to help prevent a tragedy that never need to happen as well.
