AWG: Paradise City

Come join us at the Sierra Madre Casino where you can begin again and-* is what can be heard from the TV's scattered around the area of Paradise along with TV's in Night City as well as being broadcasted in commercials countrywide and including Japanese television as well.

AV's came in from the air with the rich,powerful and influential to arrive in this resort city to relax and burn there Eddie's at the same time.

Though even without AV's there are two additional entrances into Paradise and so long as one had an invitation, a reservation, or a confirmed bank account of over 1mil Eddie's would one be allowed access into Paradise proper.

The AWG owning the entirety of Paradise everyone of the investors had to pay to lease areas for their properties and allowing them to sell their goods and the leases are extremely steep but everyone who is anyone would pay for setting up a shop here as this place was a huge cash cow of a location as only the rich can come to play.

Though the AWG gets the most money as the whole Grand Imperial Malls shops are all actually AWG even though they aren't.

How did this work? Well turns out that after selling off a section for another store within a shop a quarter of all those stores sales would be transferred into SP making it a positive feed back loop to the true owner of the store.

And every store within the Grand Imperial Mall was both expensive and lucrative towards profits and not only that but even the Sierra Madre is also considered a store even if it's a specialized one which earns massive profits from people coming and burning there Eddie's and not to mention the Medcenter along with the luxury apartments and villas one can purchase my eyes were turning into dollar signs from the quick recoup of SP coming my way.

If this keeps up in less than a month the SP we spent, around 850 million, will be completely back to what we had when we got here months ago.

*Inhale* "Ahhh! I do love the smell of Capitalism, Profits and Booming business." I say to myself before pulling out a Cigar, lighting it and taking a puff from it as I kicked up my feet onto my desk as a smile spread across my face.

Though soon my holo lit up as I answered it, "Ahh Little Brother! Here to congratulate me on the completion of our Paradise?" I say before putting my cigar down in the ash tray.

"Well that's one thing, but another thing is to throw out a warning that you need to be on the look out for." He said to me as I raised and eyebrow.

"Oh? Something outside of the various Corporations trying to assassinate me and the girls? You know in this last week there have been over 20 assassination attempts on us, luckily Serenity has been able to deal with most before they became any real issues." I say relaxed like though Florence can keep Mikan safe easily and Sei(Scanty) and Kei(Kneesocks) can protect themselves just fine not only because of there powerful cybernetics but non-holy type weapons barely scratch there skins and any that somehow even get into the same room as me…. Well let's say the room at the end looked like it was covered in a thick red paint at the end.

"Well it's less something you should worry about but more what could happen to Paradise as a whole, an old gang called the Inquisitors has returned to NC, I'll send you the Detes but short is they hate anyone that has even the smallest bit of cybernetics in them which is like 95% of the entire city has at least basic level chrome in them so yeah they basically hate everyone and I have this inkling they will try to do shit all across the city if they aren't wiped out soon enough, but since they don't leave a data trail with no netrunners on their side if they want to hide then we have no clue where they are." He explains to me as I rub my chin as I stand up to look at the pristine and beautiful Paradise below.

"Thank you for the information Hifumi, I'll make sure my men are on alert for any and all breaches in the border while being on the lookout for these Inquisitors as you call them." I say before another call comes up.

"I gotta go, got a meeting with some of my new investors so talk later." I say before ending the call with him before entering the meeting with my new investors and soon enough bring in even more profits.

A Few days later, within the AWG HQ the All World Highschool was in session a certain kid was now currently sitting right outside the principals office.

*Tap Tap Tap Tap Tap Tap* the kid kept tapping his foot on the floor as he held his head.

'Fuck…. Man I knew I shouldn't be peddling XBD's here on campus, I just wanted some quick Eddie's but then security caught me in the act.' He muttered to himself as the door to the principals office opened up and the guy that he was selling to had his head down and clearly looked depressed.

"Let this be a lesson to you, just be lucky that you get a weeks suspension young man, now Mr. Martinez please come in." I hear the principal say to the guy as I stand up and go in as he doesn't even look at me and walks away.

'Shit! If a Corpo kid got away with just a suspension what about me? Santa Maria please don't let me get expelled, Mom will kill me otherwise.' He thought to himself as he entered the principals office and sat down while looking at the literal devil of a woman sitting across from me wearing a black business suit as she adjusted her glasses while looking at me.

On her desk said her name, Kei Yamada Principal of All World Highschool, I saw but the stern glare in her eyes made me very nervous as my right leg began to shake in response to my nervousness.

"Mr. Martinez I assume you already know why your here and what you did wrong correct?" She said to him with a raised eyebrow as he just rubbed the back of his head and nodded in response.

"Good, now this school has Rrrrules that are meant to be followed to the letter here at AWH, and if your mother wasn't such an excellent now Trained paramedic for the company I wouldn't hesitate to give you an expulsion for what you have done, so in light of that you will be getting a two week suspension instead for your-" she said before her eyes glowed as she recieved a call on her holo as she held up her finger to him as she answered the call.

Though it was a thought transmission call all David could see was her nodding her head in response to what she was hearing, and though he was relieved that he wasn't getting expelled he didn't know what to tell his mother about his two week suspension for trying to sell XBD's on campus like an idiot.

"I see….. But-…. Alright…. Okay…. Love you too, bye." She says the last bits out loud before hanging up the call and looking at him once more.

"Well Mr. Martinez it seems your in luck, I don't know how you did it but you have caught my husbands attention." She said readjusting her glasses while seeing David's eyes widen in response.

"You mean?"

"That's right, the president of the AWG, Shie Yamada, wants to meet you, as for why I don't know but this is your chance to make it in this world so all I can say is don't mess this up as this is a chance of a lifetime, and as for your suspension, let's say it all depends on how your meeting with him goes, if all goes well then I will not give you an suspension but if not then the punishment will go as it should, so bring you and your mother to meet him Friday afternoon at 5PM sharp so don't be late." She went onto tell him as he rapidly nodded in response.

"Good, now you may go Mr. Martinez and all I can say is good luck." She said as he stood up and bowed towards her before grabbing his bag and leaving the office before shutting the door behind him.

"…. Hmmm, I wonder if this will work Hifumi, well we will know soon enough." She mutterd to herself before she went back to work.
