Omen
THE CAWWING of crows made the night a little creepier. The sceatching of small feet added to the prickly feeling of someone was walking with you but wont see any one. That night it wiuld make you feel like you just came in into a horror movie. But to Gumi, it is not a horror movie but an ordinary occurance.
These crows that made the night darker and these spiders that walk along with her thru the small shrine at the end of the alleyway beside the ryokan, are signs that her master was just around the corner.
Gumi was nearing the shrine before she took a sharp right turn. Talking in the shrine is a little risky as they are not sure if there was still a God residing there. The safest was in the heart if the forest and that is where she was guided by the crows. She only stopped when she reached a small clesring where the crows gathered.
