Chapter 15: Answer my question

The scorching wind blew heavily while the sky darkened heavily, medrida the empress of the scorching wind grinned evilly as she held princess lily who remained on the air, choked by the claws of the horned demon.

"The deathmaker, have you come here to kill me?" medrida calmly asked.

"No but that's if you refuse to let her go, like i said... it's not her time yet to die," the deathmaker declared, his voice carried authority as he stared at the single horned demon with his sternful look.

No one could imagine that this is just a seventeen years old teenager standing before a demon who's more than a hundred years old, without even being intimidated by her destructive wind causing casualties.

"Who's this girl to you? an ally or a lover?" medrida asked with smiles on her face when she lifted princess lily up in the air, increasing her pressure while choking the princess like she is nothing.

"None... if she is to die then she is to die by my hands... you should know me already medrida, i don't give a third warning... this is my second warning, drop her or die," the deathmaker spoke out.

"My my, you are no fun kid," medrida said when she tossed lily heavily on the ground.

The deathmaker slowly turned towards princess lily who remained on the ground while trying to breathe in air. he slowly turned towards medrida... his left eye is open as his skill is currently active.

"Medrida... you and adolf were no different, always meddling in human affairs that would get you killed someday but i have no reason to kill you since i am here to kill someone else," the deathmaker said.

"So you have a mission huh? i was wondering why you would come to the west when the west wants your head. so what's going to happen to me now?" medrida asked with a warm smile on her face.

She licked her lips while looking at the deathmaker seductively.

"You should stop that because i have no heart to be tempted by a human talkless of a demon such as yourself. i would like to ask you some questions... i encountered something strange today and i need answers," the deathmaker said.

"You encountered something strange today? if you are asking me this question, does that mean you believe it's related to demons? and what if i don't want to answer you?" medrida calmly asked.

"Well then i will exterminate you as my side job, probably sell off your body to the highest bidder and make a lot of money considering horned demons are quite powerful and their skins are perfect for battle."

"Especially your horn so make the wise choice in order to survive," the deathmaker said.

"Hmph, fighting you will be a pain in the ass considering the fact you fought adolf and killed him. adolf was a single horned demon who is an elemental type such as myself. why don't you use his elements?" medrida asked.

"Nothing, i will use my lightning powers when i deem it necessary."

"Now to ask you my question, what is the void?" the deathmaker calmly asked, his voice is gentle but just because he speaks in a gentle manner doesn't mean he should be underestimated at all.

"Oh? the void... then i guess you have received the message is that correct? the question isn't what is the void but who are the void. i'm not obliged to answer your question," medrida stated.

"Hmmm i see... you would like to make this hard on you right? very well then... i will kill you but first, you will tell me all that you know about this void," the deathmaker spoke out when he positioned himself.

"He-he-he-he, the moment you mentioned the void... it became a life and death situation. if i give out any information... they will have my head so i will take my chances with you. you are merely nothing."

"You are just a human, a pathetic one."

Medrida spoke out when she released her demonic ki into the air. she released the heaviest of the wind force without hesitation, directing the destructive forces against the deathmaker without hesitation.

"I'm just a human huh? have you seen a human who can see a single horned demon so easily?" the deathmaker asked when he unsheathed his sword, he charged against medrida without hesitation.

Medrida directed three wind spears against the deathmaker as he deflected the attack while charging against her. the heavy wind was nothing to him when the deathmaker supersped amidst the wind.

Medrida gasped in shock when she drew out a wind blade.

Blocking the sword attack of the deathmaker with her wind blade, she created a wind vortex out of nowhere, sending the deathmaker flying when she clenched her fist, trying to suck out the air from his body.

"Adolf was barely ignorant when he fought you. he was a single horned demon and he never thought he would be killed by a human so he got what he deserved for his pride. but i know who you are."

"Do you think i would underestimate you just like he did? i will crush you with my might."

Medrida spoke out as she laughed out hysterically, focusing her wind force against the deathmaker while choking the air out of himself. the deathmaker could barely move his limbs because of the pressure.

Right out of nowhere, she created three tornadoes, merging them together and two hurricanes merging them together to destroy the deathmaker without hesitation. a normal human would have been torn apart.

This pressure is too great for anyone to bear while princess lily who is struggling to stay awake was watching everything while on the ground. she could barely even move her body while her eyes were open.

"How does it feel deathmaker? how does it feel to be crushed by a single horned demon? no matter how much you humans try, you little pests could never reach the level of powers we possess."

"You are a race of pitiful beings who can't even live past a hundred and fifty years but we exist for centuries and centuries and you believe you can stand against us. once i am done with you... your body will be mine."

"I will cook you with my special recipe before i eat you and this girl together, and your skills will be mine... that eye of yours, it will be mine," medrida voiced out while laughing out loud, her laughter became even louder.

"That bitch... the deathmaker, you... you... you can't possibly die like this, i haven't killed you yet, i'm the one who should kill you," princess lily spoke out while trying to get up but she is heavily wounded.

Meanwhile the deathmaker could be seen on the air while being crushed by the intense pains. his breath was being overwhelmed by medrida who aims to completely crush him today when he sighed.

He suddenly opened his eyes when in a split second, the terrible wind disappeared.

"Huh? what just happened? what just happened to my wind?" medrida asked in shock when she gasped as she saw the deathmaker who remains on the air slowly glowing brightly dark. his dark core is transferring power to his body.

"Medrida, that fool of a woman... she could have escaped while crushing me with her wind. what does she think the canceller is all about? does she think she is exempted by my skill just because she is a wind force?" the deathmaker asked himself.

"Once the canceller is activated... everything will be cancelled, movements, motions, skills and even attacks such as this. she is such a fool," the deathmaker said when he grinned evilly. in that moment... what was unleashed is far too destructive, black lightning that burns everything in sight.

"The lightning of adolf? so he really decided to use it huh?"

"Damn it why didn't i think about it well, i should have escaped when i had the chance, i must escape," medrida spoke out when she turned to leave. the deathmaker landed right before her without hesitation.

Releasing the black lightning from his body as it tore through the air, the deathmaker held his sword firmly when he grinned evilly. medrida caused a demonic spear to appear on her hand without hesitation.

"You filthy human... die!!" medrida screamed out.

She swung her spear skillfully as she charged against the deathmaker without hesitation, merging her wind force into her spear to increase the maximum offensive force of her blade to the highest level.

But the deathmaker blocked the blade while her wind force was cancelled without hesitation. medrida could see death when she was about to make a move, her movements were cancelled that second.

Her right hand was sent flying after being severed by the blade of the deathmaker without hesitation. she screamed out in pains while struggling to move when the deathmaker instantly impaled her with his sword.

"Now you will tell me what i need to know, who are the void?" the deathmaker calmly asked when he grabbed her by the neck, choking her heavily with his fist while she is seen screaming out in pains.

"The... the... the void, we are a society of intelligent demons, with the sole purpose of welcoming the era of domination, the domination of all existence who dares stand against us. we are the new order," medrida answered while screaming out in pains.

"I see... and what is the mark of death?" The Deathmaker asked.

"Go to hell.....not even i know what that it but it seems your end is about to come, whatever the mark of death is.....it will end it in one thing, your destruction," medrida spoke out when in that second.

Her head came rolling down from a single slash of the deathmaker, he suppressed the black lightning when he slowly turned towards princess lily who remained on the ground while trying not to close her eyes.

"Princess.....you really are a strong one, but you are not yet powerful enough to kill me or to be killed by me, i need you to reach your potentials," the deathmaker said when he carried her like a baby in bridal style.

He made his way out of the scene, they were a few miles away from the free-city, the moment the deathmaker left while carrying the princess, an enormous eye with hands and legs emerged from the darkness.

"So that's the one who bares the mark of death huh? medrida was a fool to challenge him on her own, i must report this to the apostle at once," a dark voice was heard from the eye when it was instantly soaked with darkness.

Vanishing into the darkness like it's never existed in the first place!!

Medrida was killed by the deathmaker so she belongs to the assassin guild by rights of killing, the assassin guild will be sending assassins to retrieve the body of the single horned demon medrida!
