Damn These Boys!

“Uh I never thought that you would actually call me, so I didn’t have anything planned but how about I take you to the movies this Friday?” he asked hopefully. Denise rolled her eyes from beside me probably unimpressed by his confession and lack of smooth talk. It seemed like he was not very experienced in talking to girls and getting their attention which is odd because he looked very cute. If I wasn’t on a mission to hurt boys, I might have given him a chance. “Friday works fine for me. I’ll send you my address so that you can come pick me up.” Now that the deal was made, I had no longer any interest in talking to him. I had already entertained him for way long and although it was fun while it lasted, I had places to be and people to meet. *************** Scarlet has finally lost all trust in guys after getting her heart broken many times. She has had enough now and seeks revenge against all the boys. But revenge is never easy and more so if it is done impulsively. Chapter 73: I trust her.

Thanking Julian with my eyes I moved away from Andrew to sit back beside Alex as I felt the nervousness hit me. I was finally going to receive the answer of the question that had been haunting me for days. Taking a deep breath in I asked, “Why did you say that I shouldn’t trust the people around me blindly?”

“That’s because you shouldn’t. I said that because someone close to you wants to harm you,” he replied mysteriously still not providing complete facts.

Clenching my fists tightly I asked, “Who?”

Andrew gazed at me fixatedly to gauze my reaction but when I didn’t move my gaze away from him he warned, “I know you aren’t going to believe what I say next but please don’t act too rashly.”

I nodded my head exasperatedly as I waited for his answer.

Looking around once at the other faces in the room he finally replied, “Denise, your best friend, she is the one who wants to harm you.”
