Aunty Bella

She could not hide her emotion after seeing Aunty Bella, her mother's assistant, and close friend. With a trembling voice, she said, "A-aunty Bella, I'm little Mel; you still remember me, right?"

Bella was stunned for a moment before she felt the overflow of emotions in her heart.

"Young Miss? My lord, Y-you are this big already?" She walked toward Mel and held her hands gently; she couldn't take her eyes off Mel's beautiful face. "You are so beautiful. Aunty misses you." Bella said; Unbeknownst to her, her tears are starting to roll down her cheeks. She cries, not a sad cry; she cries because she was so happy to see the young miss. Now, she had grown into a beautiful woman; she looks like her mother.

In the past, when she was still Mel's mother's assistant, Mel was only ten years old. She often went to the office to go with her mother. During that time, Bella becomes familiar and close to her.

"I miss you to aunty Bella. It's been a long time, huh!" Mel squeezes Aunty Bella's hands gently. They hold their hand for a while, then Bella hugs Mel's tightly.

"Aunty also do miss you, little Mel." She can't hide her happiness; she smiles broadly.

After controlling their emotions, they could finally sit down and talked calmly. A while waitress brings the food they've ordered. They've decided to eat their meals first before continues talking, it's well past dinner time, and after so much emotion was pouring, they are starving.

In no time, they finish eating and begin to talk seriously about their purpose to see her. Mel finally said, "Aunty Bella, it was me who was looking for you, not Hiro."

Bella a little surprised; she never thought Mel was looking for her. She felt they met by accident.

"I was looking for you because I need your help," Mel says again.

"Young miss, please say it. Of course, I will help you with all my might."

"I need your help to approach some of the shareholders of the Tanner Entertainment Agency. I know they are my mother's friends, and you probably know them," Mel said calmly while looks Aunt Bella in the eyes.

Bella confused. Why did young miss want to buy the stock, Tanner Entertainment Agency? Isn't her mother the biggest shareholder? Didn't her mother tell her about this? "Young Miss... why do you want to buy the stock? Your mother is the biggest shareholder?" she asked.

"What do you mean, Aunty Bella? Wasn't my mother's stock returned to her ex-husband after they divorced?" Mel confused.

When she checks, she finds out her mother's shares have gone. All stocks now belong to her father, Vivian the slut, grandpa Tanner, a few gentlemen, and the public. But now, Aunt Bella tells her mom still has her shares? Did she make a mistake while she was doing her research? Mel was confused.

Hiro, who was sitting in the corner of the room, also feel confused.

"Young Miss, why bother asking me about the share when you can just ask your mother?" She said casually and smile.

Mel was stunned but only for a moment. She turned her gaze to Hiro; she tried to hide her eyes which instantly felt hot, tears just about to fall.

At the same time, Hiro glance at her with gentle looks; he tries to calm her down. Their eyes met, and Mel could see from Hiro's eyes, he said... 'Mel, you are the strongest girl I have ever known, stay strong!'

After sometimes she finally calmed her heart and looked back at Aunty Bella. "Aunty Bella... my mother has died a long time ago." She shut her mouth and bites her lips lightly; she can't say anything else.

She stared at Mel with wide eyes "Y-y-young M-miss..." She wanted to say something but her voice couldn't come out. Her eyes and nose turn red; now, she is sobbing.

For a while, no one talk. The only sound in the room is the sound of Aunt Bella sobbing. She no longer has the strength to hold her tears.

Hiro, who was sitting beside Mel, stood up and gave tissue to Aunty Bella. He also ordered hot chamomile tea from the waiter to calm aunty Bella, who knows tea would help her ease her sadness.

He also glanced at Mel; he sees her face; it was cold and expressionless. She looks frozen in her seat.

He knows Mel is tremendously sad to deliver the news to her mother's only confidant.

Hiro left them like that for a while. He just sat quietly in his chair with his leg crossed while enjoying his hot coffee, his eyes looking out the window. Outside, the snow was falling heavily. Although this room has a heating system, the aura in this room feels cold and gloomy.

Hiro saw Aunty Bella has calmed down; he felt relieved that this silent contest was finally over.

Silently, he takes a deep breath.

"Young Miss, Auntie is sorry for your lost." Her voice was hoarse and trembling.

Mel shook her head slowly. "No, aunty. No need to feel sorry. It's been a long time; I already passed to it." She lied, and then she told Aunty Bella everything about her mother's accident.

Bella felt her chest tighten. She felt despair knowing Linda died at such a young age.

Linda was like a goddess of help to her. When she lost everything, Linda helped her. Giving her a house to shelter, send her to study. Finally, Linda raised her social status; she becomes Linda's assistant. She has assisted Linda in building Tanner Entertainment Agency from scratch to success.

When Linda divorce and then suddenly ran away. Linda had left everything she owns behind and only brought her beloved child, Little Mel.

It shocked Bella to the bone and made her sad. But she understood the pain Linda was going through that made her leave. She respects Linda's decision and always had fully supports it.

She's still remembered; Linda told her to stay in Tanner Entertainment Agency if she's leaving. Because one day, she would come back. But now, she will never come back.

How could this happen to Linda when life before her is still so young and fabulous?

"God! Why have you forsaken her?! You've let Vivian snatch her husband, and then You took her life too?" Bella was sorrowful, mixed with anger. So she didn't know what to do; she could only curse God in her heart.
