Chapter 209: Merry Christmas

"Yeah, it was quite too prompt, even me, I never knew that the outing will be a success, that was why I never informed them earlier, it was only when I was certain of the success that I informed them but they all turned me down, you can imagine Damian."

So she said. So, that very Christmas day, we left home around two PM. I wasn't sure of the time we got to the Park, but I know that it didn't take long for us to get to the Park. I the car which we came with was classes of food, all the food which was prepared at home mom took parts of them and bright them to the park, at first I wasn't sure why mom will want to bring food to the park, and all that food, knowing full well that it was just the three of us going, but I will borrow mom' word to qualify her action, that was after we have gone home, she said to me.

"That which an elderly saw while sitting down, if a child climbs the top of the tallest Iroko three, he will still not see it." 

She said this to me because I opposed her when she was carrying the food, yet, I was the one who made use of the whole food which later turned out extremely useful.

When we got there mom and I laid the mat which we came with and we also offloaded the food we also came with, when I was bringing down the food, I was just laughing, I believed that we will still take the food back the way we came with it. So, after we were done with the laying of the mat and the arrangement of our things, I stood up to go and ease myself in the restroom which was a little distance from where we laid out the mat. I majestically walked to the restroom which had some Hausa men sitting outside discussing, these Hausa men were the ones who sees that the toilet is kept clean, that was their work, It was what they were paid for, but yet, they still collect little change from people who patronizes the john. So, at my arrival there, I greeted them and told them that I'll like to ease myself, and one pointed at a door asking me to go there, when I was out I gave him the Fifty naira note which mom gave to me for the same of the toilet. Fake Dad had given me five hundred naira more, he said he had no change but mom gave me the fifty naira and asked me to keep the five hundred.

So when I was done and out, and after giving the men the filter naira which they squeezed and threw into a natively knitted basket, I went on my way to our sid, but as I strode j noticed a group of beautiful girls starting at me I awe, I couldn't look at them much, if I had, Charity wouldn't have given me the surprise which she gave me because she was among the girls, I just saw them like all the girls who I know who always had their jaws drop at the sight of me, I also thought that it was my strong manly gait that often got them tripping.

"Boom!!!"

That was the sound that I heard from behind me, I was lucky that I never exposed myself in the Park, I was lucky that my instinct and reflex never sent me using my powered at the moment because when she startled me, I felt the shock to my marrows, I quickly without thinking hit her down with an elbow strike and she fell with her hand on her neck where I had unintentionally struck her, I turned again with force to continue to strike her, but only then I saw her face and she already in the other hand was even shouting Damian it is me Charity. I was shocked and embarrassed when I saw that it was my female folk that I almost brutalized if not already brutalized, many passers-by and fun-seekers stood to watch, they laughed at charity as some even went as far as saying; "next time don't do not take foreigner by surprise." It was quite funny, I was the one who was referred to as a foreigner, hahaha, me that I have never seen the shores of another country, the only country which I know is Nigerian my motherland.

"Oh my God, I am son so sorry Charity, so sorry please."

I pleaded with a thousand sorry.

"You almost broke my windpipe."

So she said as she still gasps for air.

"What are you doing here?"

I asked in confusion as I raised her up.

"What am I doing here? Was it not Cynthia that asked you to come? I thought maybe she asked you to come since she was not coming, we are actually having girls out, these are my girls."

She said pointing at the group of girls who were staring at me earlier, as I looked at them, they all blushed making some embarrassing seductive gestures.

"It was my fault that Cynthia and charity would not come, I waited until yesterday when I was sure that the outing will hold without disappointment before I told them about it, and they said they could not tell their parent about such prompt outing. So, if you did not come because of us, who then did you come with? Is it also the boys' outing? Cause we will need a company, you know how it is na, we the girls are already hungry and we are craving some ice cream."

Charity said.

"Hahahah, I didn't come with any guy, you know I hardly make friends, I only came with my parents, there they are."

So I said pointing at mom and fake dad at the place where they sat looking at us, they had also noticed the incident, I am sure that min would have been scared to near death thinking that I will expose myself when she saw the happenings.
