A group of men more specifically civilians turned militia are on currently setting up their rifles on a ridge line over-watching a U.S military base.

(MC-Rika POV)

ALL RIGHT EVERYONE LIS- "TIING" "TIING" "WHISTLE....BOOOOOM" Rika was cut off mid speech due to the sound of bullets and a mortar round landing near him,He could not make out the sounds of the rest of the rest of his squad and other soldiers scrambling around the base to a safe place.

(Squad mate1-2=SM)

SM1"RIKA.....RIKA GET UP. He runs over to See our MC down on his knees with a little bit of blood coming out of his ears he could see that Rika was in a daze due the mortar round that landed way to close to them.'Shit what am I gonna due I can't carry him like this'. Just then he heard a familiar voice calling out. SM2."RIKA....HAS ANYONE SEEN CAPTAIN RIKA ANYWHERE". As he was about to lose all hope he heard his squad mate call out to him."I GOT CAPTAIN OVER HERE I NEED HELP TO GET HIM TO A SAFER PLACE". He turned to see his squad mate trying to drag their dazed captain to a building so he runs over to help."Almost to the building captain cmon stay with us".

(militia members POV)

MM1.I see the target sir.....

???.Do you have a clear conformation of him?

MM1.Yes sir that's definitely Rika Kamado.

???.Very well take the shot.

(Mc POV)

I was being carried/Dragged by my two squads mates while I was trying to come back to my senses it would have taken my a few more minutes if I didn't feel sharp pain from my back and the right side of my chest I slightly look down to my chest to see a....hole? Why does my chest have a hole in it? Then it hit me I was shot I can see my squad mates stopped in there place looking at my chest with a shocked and horrified expressions.

SM1."Shit cmon hurry up we half-"I cut him off when I start to cough and a glob of blood comes up.Instead of continuing they stop and lay me down on the cold hard sandy ground I can feel the metallic and copper taste of blood in my mouth as I start to lose consciousness.

SM1."NO NO NO NO CAPTAIN STAY WITH US"

SM2."MEDIC..... MEDIC WE NEED A DAMN MEDIC"

'so loud' I thought everything feels so sensitive right now my hearing my body is starting to feel cold everything is getting blurry before I black out I start to flash back of my child out.

(FLASHBACK TO WHEN MC WAS 5)

"Mommy can you make me some ramen pleaseeeeee" I say while giving her puppy dog eyes

Mom."Of course but first you got to clean your room" she says with a gleam in her eyes that says I'm not getting out of this unless I do what she asks of me.

I was a only child with just my mother I never knew my father but my mother says he was out but after I started to get older I figured out that he either left us before I was born or he passed away but till this day I still don't know.After my 15th birthday I started to get distant from other people I didn't really like them but I did like sports even though it involves having to communicate with other people on top of sports I started to read manga and watch a little anime even though I really only watched Naruto,Danmachi,Highschool DXD,and Onepiece.I often got bullied for being weird for watching anime but that all changed one day when a military recruiter came to my high-school with a pull-up bar when I just started my senior year and he asked my if I wanted to try and from that day on I got a offer to join the military and I was happy that I found a place that I could be comfortable with and eventually I opened up and found a few people like me who didn't really like other people but when they came to basic training they opened up,The rest is history from there I did missions got promoted all the way up to a captain of my own squad then we were sent to a 4 year term to the Middle East.

I start to feel like something is pulling me out of my body at first I try to resist it but I could feel myself starting to lose consciousness so I just let it happen then everything goes dark....
