Unique Quest?

We have arrived the blacksmith store. As soon as we walk in, we can feel a rush of heat throught our face. Inside there is a muscle looking uncle hammering an unknown ore.

CLANG!...CLANG!...CLANG! It's sound loud but you won't feel it noisy. Instead it feel quite nice to your ear. If you listen carefully, you can feel the rhythm of the hammering.

After we both walk in, the NPC didnt stop and continue hammering the ore.We wait patiently until he finish making weapon. After about 10 minutes of waiting, the NPC respond

"Sorry lad, currently can't take any weapon order. You can come back later" although he didn't stop but he still talk to us.

"It's ok Uncle, do you need me to help gather anything?" I asked back, trying to get Quest from him.

"Then lad, help me collect beast fang from Frenzy boar. I need it to make this weapon"

"I have manage to trigger a hidden quest? Nice. Thank Hepta, I will go collect it now. Let go Megumi"

Both us walk out of the shop and to walk toward the huge gate. After thought the huge gate, we saw a large grass area.

There is a forest area sight a bit further on the northwest side. As northeast I didnt see anything, it should be a plain area.

Far away to the end is a very large pillar near a bit northeast side. I guess that pillar must be the dungeon where 1st level boss stay.

We both unsheath our weapon as we walk toward the forest area. There something that I would like to try in the forest area.

We walk for awhile before we found our first monster 'Frenzy Boar'. It's look like a normal wild boar except it fur is gray colour with red glowing eye.

The Frenzy boar turn around and saw us. It's make a boar roar and charge toward us. We get ready in a battle stance. I stand at the front and Megumi is at behind.

The moment it about to ram me, I sidestep to the right and stap it body with reduce it HP by 25%.'About 4 normal hit should do'.

Megumi sidestep to left and use 'Horizontal' sword skill which reduces it by 70%. The boar just left with a small red triangle in the HP bar.

I give it another slash and kill it. The Frenzy boar then burst into many colorful polygon pieces. A small menu pop up.

"That was easy but something is still missing. What it is? Do you know Megumi?"

Megumi suddenly hug tightly and didn't say anything."What wrong Megumi?" I hug back softly. Damn VR can even replicate the soft feeling. Before she reply, another boar spawn in front of us.

"Megumi stay behind me, this time let me do it alone. I want to test something." I pulled Megumi behind me. She just follow and didn't say anything.

This time I sheath my sword. I make a few jump. Yup everything is feel so real. Like a real world. Stuff that I don't dare to do in real world will be able to realize it here.

The Frenzy boar notice me and charge over immediately. 'The boar can only charge in straight line'. This is the info I summarize from this second monster.

I switched to a low stance and ready to use iaido.The moment the boar about to reach me, I dash iaido slash and turn around use 'slant' on it back. The Frenzy boar burst into pieces.

I walk to Megumi "Megumi I don't know why, but I feel so alive now. We can use all our strength and no need worry everything Megumi"

"We can also use martial arts but it won't trigger the skill motion. Only weapon art can trigger the skill motion."

"What wrong Megumi, you not enjoying the game?" I notice something wrong with Megumi.

"M, this is a death game, how to enjoy it when you know you can die anytime. I worry about you M. The way you do thing scare me. I afraid of losing you." As another Frenzy boar spawn again.

I just 'Horizontal' follow by Megumi 'Horizontal' before it can't even react. Perfect sync. She already familiar with using sword skill.

I walked to Megumi and hug her. Then I start to stroke her back of the head and say in a soft voice."I have scare you huh, Megumi"

"Although this is a death game but it doesn't change the fact that we are alive in this game. Just like we are alive in the real world. We are also alive in this world"

Another Frenzy boar spawn again. We do the same thing again and instakill it. Then we go back to hug each other again.

"Since it's the same, instead of worry, might as well enjoy it just like how you enjoy stalking me in the real world. Plus we are martial artist which give us a very good reflex in this game"

"We can use our movement, reflex, athletics and skill system to hunt monster outside, use our martial art to defend ourselves inside the safe area"

The Frenzy boar spawn again. Fuck why it keep spawn it here, keep disturbing just when I going to the good part. We instakill it again. I turn to face Megumi and smile at her.

"If you are still confuse then remember this. You are my cute stalker bodyguard. Don't forget the will that you endure for 2 years"

"If you die, I will follow you. I won't let you be alone. This is my promise to you when you decide to trust me and join this death game"

After we kill another Frenzy boar, Megumi turn around and smile at me. "Sou...Ka...M, look like I think too much. Let enjoy this world too,M"
