19 Chapter 18

"Grandma, Xiao Ying, it's 7.30pm, I need to go back now. I still have some things to do." Yu Mo said while standing up.

"What's the rush, Xiao Mo?" Grandma said while chewing her foods."You just ate a little, though."

Yu Mo smiles and kisses Grandma's cheeks."I will eat again later, Grandma." And pats Xiao Ying's head."Take care, okay? See you at school."

"Don't forget to sleep!" Grandma shouted.

Yu Mo arrives in his Apartment at 8 pm.

"You said you will be ready at 8." Someone suddenly said when Yu Mo enters his Apartment.

"I said 'I will get ready at 8'." Yu Mo said. He's not surprise when he saw that someone.

He Chen laughs and takes a sip from his glass. It seems he's been here for a long time.

"How long since you were here?" Yu Mo asked while sitting on the sofa beside He Chen.

"After I called you and met with the clients in company. I think it's an hour ago. I didn't have things to do, so I thought why don't I just spend my time here." He Chen shrugs and put the glass on the table.

"I'd like to remind you that you have your own house tho."

He Chen turns his head and quickly put his hands around Yu Mo's waist."But here is cozier than my house." He pouted.

"Can you please don't stick like a glue with me?" Yu Mo said with a smile.

"But you are really cozy too." He Chen sulked.

"Ah Chen, let me go. I need to get ready." Yu Mo finally said when he looked at his watch.

He Chen smiles, even though Yu Mo can't see. He really likes to tease Yu Mo."It's still early tho. Besides, the location is really near from here."

Yu Mo doesn't say anything. But suddenly, he raises his left hand and flicks He Chen's forehead.

"Aw!" He Chen yelped."But, I still won't let go."

"It hurts tho."

"No, it's not."

"Ah Chen…" Yu Mo whispered."…can you please let go?"

Silence falls between two of them.

"I lost…" He Chen whispered while letting go.

Yu Mo smiles and flicks He Chen's forehead again, but softer.

"You also need to get ready, tho."

And leaving He Chen who takes his glass and gulps in one shot.

"Is this what you called near?"

He Chen and Yu Mo departs from his Apartment at 8.45pm. But they arrive in the hotel just now, at 9.30pm.

"Oh well, I forgot that I had to turn right, not left." He Chen said with a laugh."No need to rush tho, Mo Mo. Our Dads are in there, they are the main and we are only sidekicks."

They are welcomed by the workers there and the door is opened. There are a lot of people in a huge hall. Some are eating and some are communicating, maybe discussing about business, partnerships and so on.

When the door is opened, all of the people turn their attention to the two men who arrived late. Yu Mo quickly smiles and nods his head while He Chen takes two glasses from the butler who passed them.

"Thank you for your attentions to my son." Someone suddenly said and all of the attentions are turning to the stage which is in the middle of the hall.

It's Yu Mo's father.

"And my son." Someone beside Yu Mo's father said.

It's He Chen's father.

"They came in the right time, didn't they? We just walked to the stage and they arrived." That makes some audiences laugh."Well, let me shortly announce what is my intention to held this event."

"Drink some." He Chen said, offering the glass he took earlier from the butler. Yu Mo nods, but didn't take it.

"Me and this person," Yu Mo's father started.

It seems like Yu Mo's father is an easy-going person and so does with He Chen's.

"…will start a new company and managed by our sons." He Chen's father continued."We held this event to announce this and this company will be officially opened tomorrow. And of course, entered into the stocks exchange tomorrow. All of the investors are welcomed."

"Do you know about this?" Yu Mo said.

"Yeah." He Chen replied and takes a glass from the bartender

"And you didn't tell me?"

"Your dad asked me to. He said it will be a surprise."

"Yeah, a big surprise. And why should I manage the company with you?" Yu Mo said, while taking the glass from He Chen and end it with one shot.

"That hurts." He Chen pouted.

"I suggest you don't drink too much. You need to drive. I don't want to drive later."

"Well, I don't expect both of us need to drive tonight. So, just drink while we can, before we get busier than before."

Yu Mo turns his head to He Chen with questionably face.

"All of the attenders here are allowed to stay in this hotel tonight, if don't want to drive. Well, it's different if they are with drivers tho."

Yu Mo shrugs."Fine with me." And takes a glass from the bartender.
