**Ellis POV
I stood on the steel beam of the skyscraper and looked out across the city skyline. It looked fascinating to me. I had taken over this project after Bennett Klein’s disappearance and had been working on it for weeks. Being away from Olivia made it feel like a long time. But I was proud of the progress that had been made. The building was nearly complete. The project was on time and on budget.
Pretty amazing if you ask me. That doesn't always happen. I was confident that I would be able to hand it over to the city in just a few more weeks.
I walked through the skyscraper, admiring the view of the city from the upper floors. The air was crisp and clear, the sun just beginning to set. I felt a sense of pride. I knew it would be a beautiful addition to the skyline.
I checked my watch and continued my inspection. Even though I had a nagging feeling in the back of my mind. Something I had forgotten. I shook it off and kept walking. Then my phone buzzed.
