Three New Works and Jada’s Plan
Night fell.
The party was over.
After Ren drove the kids and his assistants home, he took a bath and then lay down on his bed.
"Is this strength okay?"
Jada sat on Ren's back, not very skilled and a bit tired, giving him a massage as he requested.
"Ah~~~ It's perfect, just the right amount of pressure."
Although Ren had never gotten a professional massage, he often saw the techniques on TV and was instructing Jada based on that. Surprisingly, it felt quite good, not bad at all.
Of course, what he enjoyed most wasn't the massage itself.
It was the feeling of Jada's body pressing against his as she massaged him.
Should he take off his pajamas? Or should he ask Jada to take off her clothes too? That would probably feel even better, right?
As he enjoyed the sensation on his back, Ren couldn't help but reflect.
But...
"Huh? What are you thinking about all day?"
Jada suddenly stood up and stepped on his back. "You're lucky to get a massage. Don't ask for more."
"Huh? Can you read minds?"
Ren was stunned.
"You said it out loud!!" Jada huffed, rubbing her foot on Ren's back.
"Uh, I think stepping on my back isn't suitable for you. If someone has to do it, I'd prefer a lighter child. It might be more effective."
Back massages are not for everyone.
The spine is fragile; a minor hit can paralyze a person. An untrained person could cause serious injury by stepping on someone's back.
Jada was a bit overweight, and Ren worried she might accidentally injure him.
"Are you calling me fat?" Jada's face turned red, and she sat back down on his back, shaking his shoulders.
After a while, Jada lay on Ren, her chest pressed against his back, letting him feel her softness.
"Hey," Jada suddenly spoke while Ren was enjoying the softness. "I plan to start a toy factory."
Recently, the company's profits had been quite good.
Selling the broadcast rights for "Ultraman Tiga" had earned a lot, and more revenue was expected from future sales.
"There's a lot of profit in this industry. If we keep outsourcing, we'll lose money. The Big Five all have their own toy factories."
"A toy factory?" Ren was surprised but then nodded.
He had a system.
Even if not all comics would be hits, the ones released so far had been successful.
Producing things like Tiga's Spark Lens, Victory Fencer's jet, and Pikachu by themselves would be very profitable.
For example, Death God Pikachu and Magical Girl Pikachu.
Too bad they didn't have "Naruto." Otherwise, they could release Thousand-Hand Pikachu, Uchiha Pikachu—figures often seen online in the past. It would be amazing.
"Go ahead," Ren said with a smile. "We can be self-sufficient."
In the future, if they made something like "Beyblade" or "Gundam," the investment would pay off many times over.
Not to mention the profitable "Beyblade" and "Gundam."
Even things like yo-yos were great.
"Besides that, I want to start an animation company."
Anime and manga go hand in hand.
Like the Big Five now, similar to Disney in the past.
They didn't have a theme park but had companies in manga, anime, toys, and more, making a lot of money every year.
Although Ren supported Jada starting an animation company...
"Do we have enough money?"
Ren asked.
Starting so many companies at once would be tough, even with the profits from selling broadcast rights.
"The initial scale won't be large," Jada said. "But we need to have it."
"Do as you like. You can decide on company matters."
"Okay."
So, Jada began preparing to establish two new companies.
Meanwhile, Ren's system brought new works on July 1st.
This time, the works included some of Ren's favorites.
The first was "Kara no Kyokai."
This story centers on Shiki Ryougi, who possesses the Mystic Eyes of Death Perception, and an ordinary young man, Mikiya Kokutou. It depicts their story from high school encounters to various events. Under the dark tone of the Type-Moon world, this cruel yet warm story moved many hearts.
In his previous life, Ren followed this series for Shiki's line: "If it's alive, even a god can be killed."
Combined with her Mystic Eyes of Death Perception, Ren loved this female character.
Without hesitation, Ren bought it.
The second was "Kamen Rider Kuuga." In the past, some VCDs called it "Ultraman Kuuga," and young Ren thought it was part of the Ultraman series.
"Oh! Kamen Rider!"
Ren's eyes lit up. Kuuga was his favorite Kamen Rider, next to Black!
As the first Heisei Kamen Rider, Kuuga continued Toei's tradition of high-quality first installments.
In the past, its plot, characters, monsters, and supporting characters were all excellent!
This was evident from Kuuga winning the Nebula Award.
Only three tokusatsu works had won the Nebula Award.
They were "Ultraman Tiga," "Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger," and "Kamen Rider Kuuga."
Ren's tokusatsu series had just finished, and now a Kamen Rider series was here.
He had collected two of the three major tokusatsu series!
Ren felt very happy.
Looking at the third work, he was slightly disappointed: "Carnival Phantasm," a humorous Type-Moon world series.
Without "Fate" and "Tsukihime" as a foundation, it might confuse viewers.
But Ren still bought it, thinking it might be useful later.
