Staff are doing all it takes to frustrate Kelvin's stay at the mall because of his wins.

Kelvin spends more time with Caro.

She saw his smile and signalled him with her hand for him to be a part of the session. He waved towards her with his hands indicating his not being interested in it.

After the session was over, he offered her water, brought a stool for her to sit down while she calmed her nerves because she was almost exhausted . So let me ask you Kelvin, I'm very much aware that to become a manager in this mall takes one to know someone, who helped you out or who did you know that helped you out. And besides, are you from this town. Let's get to know about you.

Ok, my parent died when I was a child, my uncle became my guardian, we relocated and here I am. My uncle and the owner of this mall are quite close, so it was an advantage for me.

Caro, I don't have friends, I fear betrayal, I've been betrayed before, and as the saying goes, ' first cut is the deepest'. that's actually a birth mark I was born with, another mark as this is on my lap, would you love to see it too chuckled Kelvin... Oh stop it, you don't have to. Everyone has a birth mark one in some parts of their bodies.

Ok so let me ask you, what do you look out for in friends, as at when you once had one... Ok I enjoy quality conversations with them. I frown at it when things are hidden from me. I love to know everything and every details along side contributing to solutions if there are problems. I love to solve problems.

That's good, though not impressed. Then we can't be friends, since you've had friendships that didn't stand the test of time...

So what best describes you if I may ask?,

Well I'm not easily impressed so nothing really describes me, I just move with the flow. I'm like the wind, you can't tell where it's going or coming from. I can often be playfully vulnerable.

Hmmm you're going to be a tough one girl, chuckled Kelvin. Well not to you Kelvin..

So she stretched out her hands for an handshake and said 'So friends are we'. He affirmed and said 'Yes, friends we are'.

Months after, they went on several outings together, had fun time during her free periods. They've become very close friends. One day, the academy summoned Caro and had a closed chat with her, they notified her how she was the best in her set and how she was to be transferred for proper work and she was told she will be in charge of giving reports on the ammunitions issued there and other duties will be assigned to her on arrival. She was glad, she eventually was given one month to tidy up, visit whoever she wants to, as she can't ascertain when she will have such freedom again after resumption in her new work place.

So she decided to invite Kelvin to come out in the evening, they went to the beach to catch some fun...

Caro was astonishingly dressed as one who was ready to have a long lasting night time with a heartthrob, Kelvin on seeing her smiled, they both laid on a mat, Kelvin pulled out his face towel and covered her laps which was too revealing as though she wore nothing, and Kelvin told her, you're my friend and I can't take advantage of your vulnerability right now because you actually are as we speak. She thanked him and moved close to him, rest her head on his chest and had a short rest.. As the night was getting thinker, they stood up and went home...

The next day, as Kelvin went to work, he noticed that whisperings became the order of the day, as people started having minor issues with him. They questioned why he always know everything and hardly make mistakes, they weren't cool with the fact that others who have worked for years haven't attained the position he was in at the moment, yet barely four months of being here he has been promoted... Because of this envious attitudes, some staff had their minds made up to deliberately make mistakes so as to frustrate his work and efficiency.... Kelvin having understood their tactics decided not to show his true nature else blood will spill, so he maintained his cool and left the office and went home.

Three hours later, Caro called him and told him she's inviting him for dinner at her place of residence and that she has an important information to tell him.

He was grateful for that phone call because he needed to just leave the house having been pissed off from the happenings at his workplace.

So in excitement, he rushed to the shower to freshen up, after he was done freshening up, he said 'Just like yesterday, in less than two weeks my six months stay here will be over'.
