He wants me to stay here? That's kind of suspicious, who would let a stranger sleep anywhere? I shouldn't let my guard down.

Why is it slightly opened? There's light inside.

I knocked on the door so I wouldn't bother the person inside.

Oh, someone answered guess I should open it.

"Mister wanderer told me to sleep here."

"Mister wanderer? Ah, you mean the boss. Sure you can sleep in the bed over there."

So he's a beast race. Why does he look like a girl. Ah, I can't stop looking at him.

I guess I should go to sleep now. Okay, one last look at him.

What is he doing? He looks like he is meditating. Maybe I should ask.

Why did he react when I said mister?

"I'm meditating to increase my mana."

"Mana? What's mana?"

"Mana is what you use to cast magic. So the higher the mana the more or longer you can use magic."

So the world I live in uses magic. I didn't believed it when I read about it from a book from my home.

"How do you cast a magic spell?"

"You can use magic silently or chanting a spell. For example FLAME."

Why is the fire so small? Am i doing it right? There's so many questions in my head.

"Ahh, don't worry it's always like that when you start. Why don't you try meditating right now?"

I felt so happy making a friend outside from my former kingdom. It still does feel hard for me to think about my past. I guess I should stay here for now.

That was a good rest the bed was so comfy and I smell food. My stomach is already ordering me around to eat. I think it's time to go downstairs now. Oh, big brother L isn't here I guess he is already awake.

Why is it so loud in the morning? Maybe they're drunk guess I should meet with mister wanderer.

He greeted me how polite.

"I knew it you're name is Ian isn't it?"

Who is he? He has a tail and fox ears. Oh, he's from the beast race. What does he want from me?

"No, as the head chief of the beast clan I should display my gratitude in person."

The head chief of the beast clan? That's the second highest ranking of the beast race. How could I deserve such praise from a person with a higher authority.
