Manifesting two figures dressed in air tight black suits, they dropped on the floor and motions of a heavy heaving chest could be seen on both figures.

Removing the helmet on his face, the figure on the right was breathing heavily. A rather handsome face with a sharp jawline, thin lips and brown purple locs could be seen, a skin tone that suggests mixed African + Asian origin this was Chameleon.

Named David Brown(Dave), I am 21 years old and a popular mystic, celebrated as the youngest Forge¹ in millenias.

My mystic essence is the void, abilities include intangibility, camouflage, teleportation, void perception, sacrifice³.

Looking around the plains Dave replied,

I'm not sure John, when we stepped through the door I felt my essence being drained crazily and a big shift in space too.

Next thing we were thrown into that battlefield, my perception picked up thousands of Forges fighting to death in that battlefield.

I might have an idea about what happened but if I'm right then we are in deep trouble.

First we need to get to those mountains and hide away, we're too much of a target out on these plains.

Taking deep gurps of air John said,

I can't move right now Dave, I used sacrifice to get us here it was the only way we could get out quickly.

Give me a minute to get my strength back, I've lost 30 years to this stupid mission. When we get back I better be sufficiently compensated for this.

Dave sitting up and letting out a loud exhale said, only if we can get back John.

I've tried to form an anchor point in the void but I couldn't, last time this happened was when Infernal Lord⁴ Kong attacked the academy, he sealed space and I wasn't strong enough to break it.

Back then I was still a seeker but now I can't break this lock too, you know what this means John.

Letting the weight of the words settle in and realising they might not have a ticket back home, John said yes Dave, there's a really strong Warlock in this realm and he has either void or spatial essence.

He must be the master of the realm too, what do we do Dave?

The only thing we can do John is to lay low and figure out what's going on in this realm and then we find a way back.

Standing up and putting on his helmet Dave stretched his right arm to John who is no longer short of breath and told him.

Get up, we have to get to the mountains, John wearing his own helmet and taking his friend's outstretched hand was drawn up and both of them walked away into the horizon.
