The Force Of Rome

A day has passed since Arasaka blew up, and burned downed the city center, bank block, med center, and corp center, coating the sky, a dark shade of red, for the entirety of the day, During this day, Network News 54, Diverse Media Systems, and Night City Today News sent their reporters, in their news vans, to to cover the Arasaka bombing, and figure out what happened.

The reporters', from different news stations, all sprinted towards their Headquarters garage with their camera crews', some faster than others, and some slower, but they all reached the garage, as there was a sign above the door with garage on it.

When they opened the door, they were met with a bland concrete area, with grey wall, a black stripe along the bottom of the wall, going around the entire wall, white lines on the ground, signifying parking areas, and vans, with antennas on them and the respective news station logos on the side of the vans', in said parking areas.

The camera crews' slide open the vans' doors, got in, and saw how their reporters opened the garage door, ran back over to the vans', ripped open the vans' door, put the key into the ignition, and slammed down on the gas petal, kicking everybody in the vans' back, and accelerating the vans forwards.

The vans' shot out of their respective news stations and sped towards the burned areas, weaving through cars and ignoring traffic laws.

Once the vans got there, they all saw a huge burned down area with a mountain of debris in the middle of a huge crater in the middme of the corp center, multiple Night City Police Department Officers, sealing off the area to the public, by putting up borders, and searching through the debris , multiple Night City Fire Department Firefighters, putting out fires that were still burning, and multiple Trauma Team Medics, searching for people either alive or dead.

The news vans' parked near the border, and started setting up their cameras', while the cameras' were getting set up, a NCPD officer, dressed in a regular police outfit, with a Kevlar vest on, that was searching the debris, found a detached sliverhand, a unused nuke, and a titanium business card with a name on it.

"I FOUND SOMETHING!!"

One of the special investigation unit officer, dressed in head to toe in Tactical armor, overseeing this investigation, walked over to the officer, who shouted that.

"What did you find?"

"I found a detached silverhand, unused nuke, and a business card, made out of titanium."

"A business card..? What name is on the business card?"

"Roman 'Fist Of God' Ulifc."

"Why would there be a bussiness card for a merc...? Unless...?, good find but keep searching for more clues."

"Yes, sir."

The S.I.N Officer walked back over to his other S.I.N Officers to report on what that officer found, when the cameras all got set up and the reporters were now reporting.

"We just got word that our ground reporters are there on the scene, take it away, Mark."

"Thank you Rose, as you can see, behind me, is the ruin of Arasaka, with only a few meters of Arasaka left standing, this tragic event caused city center, bank block, med center, and corp center to burn down, along with the death of thousands of people, we are left with one question in mind. Who would do such a terrible thing? Back to you, Rose."

But before Mark could turn off the camera, the rumble in the middle of the corp center started rumbling and everybody was on alert, and since Night City is in America, everybody pulled out their guns and pointed it at the rumbling debris, some had pistols, some others had .44 guns, and others had automatic guns.

Everybody, from innocent bystanders, to the most brutal gang members, was watching the news, some watched it on their Tv at their home, while some, stood on the sidewalk, watching the news in a window with Tv's. All switched to news channels, they all watched on, in a mixture of fear and or curiosity.

KABOOOOM!!!

The Debris blew up, flying away from the crater, hitting some police cruisers, Av's, vans, and people, but everybody was still alert, still pointing their guns at the crater, waiting for the debris to stop flying to shoot, as it blocked their view.

When the debris stopped flying, everybody was dumbfounded and speechless, the person, who jumped out of the crater was none other than Roman, wearing his setup from the night he jumped off Arasaka, still smoking a cigar.

One brave person, found their words, and spoke for everybody.

"How did you survive under all that debris?!?!?!? And did you blow up Arasaka?!"

"For the first question, well I'm just bulit different, for the second question, what do you think?"

Alarm bells started going off in everybody's head. Did this guy really admit to blowing up Arasaka!?!?!?!?!?!?!

The NCPD gained their composure back and started shooting at Roman, everybody else gained their composure back after the NCPD started shooting and followed along.

BLAM!!! BLAM!!! BLAM!!

RA-TATA-TAT-ATA-TA!!

POP-POP-POP-POP!!!

The sounds of all the guns firing echoed throughout the city, with everybody hearding it, and sounded like a war was being fought at the middle of Night City, Some bullets hit Roman, while others hit the building behind Roman, which was the Arasaka Building, with the sound of bullets hitting metal was heard, echoing throughout the city.

DING!! DING!! DING!! DING!! DING!!

Roman stood tall in the face of the bullets, not even bothering to get into cover, with the rain of bullets covering Roman and his movements from the cameras and the people, shooting at him.

The rain of bullets stopped, and everyone either, watching the news or was the one shooting at him, was in disbelief, as Roman was standing there with no bullet holes in his body.

If it wasn't for the fact that Arasaka had bullet holes on it, then they would have thought that they were shooting blanks.

Questions started rising in the minds of everybody, Why does he have no bullet holes in his body? How did he survive the onslaught of bullets? How strong is his fucking body? Did he use some sort of cyberware to survive it?, but the main question, that was on everybody's mind was, How in the hell did he do this?

As the inhabitants of Night City was suspended in disbelief, the culprit was seen, walking, pass the destroyed wrecks of Av's, NCPD cruisers, bulidings, and people, towards a camera.

But nobody wanted to test if he was bladeproof as well, as they were scared shitless, Roman walked to the camera and got in front of it.
