"BANG!" Boss' gun shouts at the top of its barrel.

Zealot's eye explodes out of his face and a hole is drilled clean through his head. He dies smiling directly into the lens of the camera that livestreams to Channel 5.

Boss turns to the people of the city. "Here's another example of why you don't do this shit," he speaks in a cold voice. With that, he swiftly turns and walks away. Boss stops before leaving the cell, and tilts his head in my direction. "This was a major case. You solved it in a day. Take tomorrow." He heads out to where he stormed in from.

I stare at the hole in the mad cunt's head. "Good riddance," I whisper over. Still, I'm concerned about what he said. I shouldn't be. He was insane. I turn and pass by Yume to leave.

"Who was="

"Beats me," I answer. I leave the building and hold open the door for Yume following just behind.

It's dark out.

"How about we do something more… fun?" I ask her as we walk to the car.

"It's very late," Yume yawns.

"Eh," I shrug. "Maybe MacRonald's and a movie?"

She exhales, almost irritated. "Okay, fine. What're we watching?" we open the doors and we're back in our seats again.

"Maybe… Nightwatch?"

"Oh," she giggles. "We can just start from the beginning if you'd like."

"Sure, that'll be fun."
