17 Chapter 16: Overlord.
I spent the next week or so resting and recovering from the injuries that the Carracosta dealt to me with its friggin overpowered slapping ability.
Today though, I would go back into the sea and level up for a while before moving to the deep sea...If I can wipe out all life in the deep sea before moving to the land, then I might have half a 1 million units of energy absorbed at that point.
His ribs were now completely healed and now, he clambered to the canopy of the forest before unfurling his wings.
*swish*
He took off into the air as his altitude climbed. Baal moved further and further upwards into the clouds above the ocean before swiftly breaking through the clouds.
He marvelled at the sight before him, the sun gently encapsulated the fluffy clouds. Before long, Baal stopped flapping his wings, closed his eyes and fell backwards into the clouds as if he'd come back from a long day at work.
His speed picked up and the sound of air being sliced through exploded as he pierced down through the clouds.
....
This feeling...It was...exhilarating. I felt the cold rush of air flowing past my horns and in between my scales, like an itch that had never been scratched before. I kept my eyes closed as my body plunged into the familiar feeling of the cold water, diving deeper and deeper, I found myself at home again.
*ping*
My radar showed me the position of many different types of prey that I'd already eaten before and yet before I could think on which one I should go and eat, The System notified me of something.

"I thought these stat points were being spread proportionately, sigh, I really need to ask you these types of questions more don't I..." I sighed, "alright system, break the stat and Move and ability parts into three separate sections then me how many stat points I have saved up."

After a while of consideration, I decided to make myself more well-rounded. I saw how that carracosta managed to utilise a move without having to release its aura. It reminds me of one of the principles of Nen, In. In renders your aura imperceptible to any of the five senses or extrasensory perception. This technique is perfect for launching sneak attacks or laying traps, as it can conceal not only the user's presence but also any constructs that have been generated. With that, he realised that he should focus his extra stat points on special and Defence, not forgetting to spend a few on his attack stat.

It has been a year or so since the Tirtouga Island Raid as I trained my Manipulation and Enhancement in conjunction as a focus. I still hadn't evolved yet my body was almost as large as what the modern Charizard is stated to be in the Pokedex, 5'7...When I'm in a quadrupedal stance. I was much larger when standing on my hind legs and this came in useful sometimes to intimidate interesting prey. I understood that I need to be able to at least be able to respond to surprise attacks such as the one that I experienced. Hence, I had been practising stat-boosting moves and not just relying on my abilities to give me any stat boosts in battle. However, I didn't just ignore the fact that I should keep all my bases covered.
I moved slowly towards what was my new grindstone...well I was the grindstone but I needed something to test out my tenacity. I'd found a pair of powerful Ancient Gorebyss and Huntail in the deep, a couple of years ago. This was perfect for me as one of them seemed to be attack-based and yet the other was special-based. I smiled as I knew what my goal was, I wanted the huntail to at least crack its teeth against my scales before I could be happy with my rate of progression this time. I moved towards the Huntail as a yellow light covered my body causing electrical sparks to crackle between the muscle fibres on my body,
"Charge"
Then a porcelain white-coloured radiance covered me as the muscles in my body became more pronounced. This made it look like I was carved from stone in the image of a greek monstrosity,
"Harden"
I then dived down in front of the Huntail with my wings tucked away behind my back like a cape. I stopped right in front of the Huntail as I needed him to attack me to see how effective my defences were right now. The huntail bared its fangs as it realised that I was approaching it.
*Bam* The huntail darted towards me as its fangs took on a dark sheen before it finally tried to dig into my stomach flesh...
*crack*
Its front canines cracked first...before its entire set of teeth finally crumbled into a cloud of fine dust. It then slowly retreated from me as I lowered my eyes to meet its face, grin. It had completed its job now and it was no longer useful to me.
I roared as my teeth sunk into the Huntail's spinal cord, eliminating it immediately. The Gorebyss then understood it was her turn to attack me, it seemed to be a bit more intelligent, it slowly approached me as it released an electric current towards me. It aimed to at least knock off one of my scales and in the past, it was able to...however, it cannot do that any longer.
I grinned at the pink fish in sorrow, I'm sure it would've been beautiful if it were human but unfortunately, it isn't and...I'm human female-sexual.
*Crunch*
Pink fluid rushed out of the Gorebyss' body as its lifeless body was clenched in my mouth and the Huntail, impaled on my claws. I lifted my arm up and both of the bodies got funnelled into nothingness. I smiled as I thought that I could now go in search of the overlord of the ocean.
....
I widened the range of my radar, sacrificing some of the accuracy of the radar - however, I was searching for something of either a medium to large size which means it would still get presented on the map.
I swam to the highest points in the sea and ate through the countless bird and shark-like pokemon in the area, searching for at least a trace of anything that could call itself an overlord of the sea before I sensed the movement of something relatively large moving towards me.
Soon enough, a large shark-like body moving through the waters came into view. I saw an armoured humanoid-like shark pokemon moving towards me. It reminded me of an armoured Kisame in his samehada fusion form.
I began using Charge and Harden before it could reach me then my eyes flashed white as a data sheet came up in my view.

Most of this Bravode's abilities are simply attack based moves whereas I had moves that could Improve my stats. Some of the moves I have on my stat screen were from assimilating some of the pokemon. However, The Bravode did have one move that could cause super effective damage against me, Dragon Tail. This is the true meaning of my life right now, Fight. Win. Reflect. Repeat. I Smirked as I thought about having shark steak tonight.

No words were said as Baal snarled at the Armoured Shark pokemon. He immediately used two moves at once since some of his moves were at the sage level. Lightning coated not just his jaw but it even crackled to over his head as it formed a mask-like structure around his face. His face was something reminiscent of a blue-lightning Oni. This was truly a representation of how terrifying a Sage-level Pokemon can be when manipulating and enhancing their energy usage. Around his claws, deep blue energy began coalescing into blades with a deadly sheen.
*Boom*
He tore through the water as he released his Fishious rend towards the Bravode. It noticed the two slices of water rushing towards it and dodged both of them. Unfortunately for it, there was another blade hidden behind the second which cut deep into its chest forming a diagonal wound.
The armoured shark formed grey energy around its fist, head and tail as it growled at Baal due to the wound caused on its chest. It darted towards Baal before Baal used an aqua tail in response to its iron tail. However, the shark managed to clamp down on Baal before headbutting him, causing him to be slightly dizzy and before Baal could use another move, he flinched.
The Bravode then formed purple energy on its tail and smashed its tail against Baal's leg, causing a loud cracking sound.
As soon as Baal felt the intense pain within his leg, he shook his head, snapping himself out of the trance he was in. He glanced at the shark which had now retreated slightly to charge another move.
He felt fury at being affected by a status condition and flinching, the anger inside of him began building as he thought this would be a perfect point to breakthrough. Yellow lightning formed on his fists...slowly though, the lightning took on a blue shade as it began developing all the way up to his shoulders and across his chest. Then, Blue thunder formed around his face again.
'Thunder Mask'
This time, The thunder didn't just encapsulate his face but also started crawling down his neck connecting with the blue thunder on his arms and chest forming a partial thunder armour above his torso.

Baal, in a state of anger, disregarded the notifications and jetted towards the shark. He opened his maw wide, showing the endless darkness awaiting this shark. After all...Its only fate is death. It stood there paralyzed and intimidated at the image of this thunder-like demon approaching it...
*Crunch*
In the next moment, The Bravode was missing its head.
*Crackle*
*Slurp*
It would seem that Baal fried its head whilst inside his mouth before consuming it. The dead body of the Shark pokemon began slowly sinking before Baal opened his hands towards the body and absorbed it before he took off to be between the clouds.
[Congratulations, the host has reached level 52! Evolution Commencing!]
A black, spherical light engulfed Baal as his body began growing into a larger quadrupedal form as semi-wings formed along his elbow. His body also took on a much darker colour similar to Charizard X. Then, dark blue flames began erupting from his jaws, expelling the explosive amounts of energy within his body. He now grew to 4 meters in length and 2 meters in height in his quadrupedal stance. His wings now grew to a length of 18M when fully outstretched.
The black light cracked and out of the shell, a stronger Baal emerged as a red light shined through its eyes before a loud roar echoed through the skies.
A new overlord is born!
