Custom Hero Chaos

What happens when a Pro Gamer who he thought was dying, wakes up with the message: [Choose your hero: Shadow Fiend, Medusa, Storm Spirit] [Choose your talents: Magus, Blitz Strike, Grand Librarian] Note: English is not my native language, I apologize for any inconveniences. I am also not a pro novel writer but a 3.2k hours dota 2 gamer who likes fun stuff. I do expect non dota players to read this so It will be non dota friendly. This work is heavily inspired by Dota 2, Custom Hero Clash [Dota 2 Custom Game], Eleceed, I Alone Level Up.

Endless?

I couldn't believe it!

'I'm standing, and I can walk with my foot again!'

I was just so, so happy at that moment. So much that I couldn't think of anything else but to shout.

"Yaaaay!" I said out loud.

My mom, who heard me, came up and knocked on the doors.

"Dendi? What's wrong?"

I thought about it for a second, then

"Mom! Come and take a look!"

I then walked around with my newly regenerated legs to show my mom.

My mom saw it, and she fell on her knees, sobbing. I found myself incredibly happy and grateful for my mother and everything she did for me. I hugged her, and she hugged me back.

"Mom! Listen! I'm going to help you out with the store and you don't have to exhaust yourself too much anymore! "

We cried and cried for what felt to be minutes. As soon as it was over, my mom told me to eat breakfast. While eating breakfast, I noticed another window:

[Choose your skill:

> Split shot <Passive> [25% damage reduction, attacks 5 enemies at once (Attack modifiers only apply to 1 main target)]

> Lucky shot <Passive> [17% chance to disarm for 7 seconds on attack]

> Take Aim <Passive> [40 meters in bonus attack range]

(Refresh skills x2 )]

[Lucky Shot] was nice, with that skill I could just prevent a physical-based enemy from attacking me infinitely, as long as [Lucky Shot] triggers. However, this is not good for spell-based enemies.

[Take Aim] was also good. I could basically become a sniper archer, shooting enemies from a far.

I took [Split Shot <Passive>]. It seemed to be useful for farming as I could hit 5 enemies at once, not to mention my talent tree later would give the Split Shot attack modifiers, not only the main target.

And then another window came out:

[Choose your skill:

> Shadow Realm <Active> [Phases into the shadow realm for 7 seconds, 20meters increase in attack range and dealing 400 magic damage when attacking while in this phase] <20 seconds cooldown>

> Feast <Passive> [Attacks deal 1% of the enemy's max health as pure damage and heal you for 4% of the enemy's max health]

> Rage <Active> [Becomes spell immune for 6 seconds] <18 seconds cooldown>

(Refresh Skills x2)]

'Wow, another skill came out.'

[Shadow Realm] is good, it prevents target-based spell enemies from shooting things at me or physically attacking me, while I can just attack them.

[Feast] is also, crazily good. With 1% max hp as pure damage, I could kill most non-regenerating enemies no matter how high their hp is in 100 attacks. Not to mention the 4% max hp as lifestyle will help me sustain forever.

[Rage] paled in comparison compared to the other two skills, as I could just buy a Spell immune item later.

In the end, I chose [Feast] as it provides me with both sustainability and damage.

And it ended. I now have:

[Skills:

> Split shot <Passive> [25% damage reduction, attacks 5 enemies at once (Attack modifiers only apply to 1 main target)]

> Feast <Passive> [Attacks deal 1% of the enemy's max health as pure damage and heal you for 4% of the enemy's max health]

Talent Tree:

> Locked at Level 10, 15, 20, 25]

------

'Now, what should I do... I am excited to go around outside with my newly healed legs. But before that, it seems that my health has already regenerated from the <0.5 hp/s> regeneration.'

[HP 720/720 <0.5 hp/s>]

I was more curious about this thing that cured my leg. I then thought of doing some test drives.

I went to my room, and I still thought of how to use these new abilities. After that, a window popped out.

[Would you like to enter Endless: Stage 0] [YES/NO]

I was baffled. Considering what my abilities have given me, I think it's safe to pick

[Yes]
