"I'm sorry." His voice rang out, knocking her into a state of confusion.
Servyn saw the question in her eyes. Slowly he placed his hand by the side of her waist and felt her jerk a little by his touch.
Her eyes roamed to where his hand made contact with her body.
"Did it hurt?" He asked, looking deep Into her eyes.
She realized that he was talking about that night.
The intense gaze his eyes had on her made her unable to utter a word, instead she bobbed her head slowly.
"I'm sorry." He said again and she could say nothing but sway her head yet again. Indicating that he did not have to apologize.
"I thought you were avoiding me. Perhaps I did something that made you upset." He told her in a voice so soft that she understood how he might have felt from her snubbing.
The expression on his face prompted her to speak.
"No. . . It's me, it's my fault." She said. "I felt too connected and I thought—"
