Upon arriving at the King's wing of the Palace, The guards who had escorted him bowed and left him to their different duties.
Servyn gave a knock on the door, and the King's voice immediately granted him entrance.
Without delay, he twisted the knob open and strode in.
It was a surprise seeing his father already seated and waiting for him. Which in turn alerted him that King was prepared for this meeting.
He wondered what it was about this time.
"Your Majesty." He acknowledged with a bow of courtesy and respect.
"Come, Son. Leave the formalities, it's only us here." King Elias said with a smile.
A smile that made Servyn dread the unfolding of this meeting.
As told, he took a seat opposite the direction of his; the King.
"You sent for me, father." He said.
"Yes I did, My Son." The king replied.
Servyn patiently waited for him to begin with whatever he had in mind to say and the reason he had called him here.
