This Man Is Dangerous!

"Have a sit, Hermione."

Hermione heard servyn say as he pulled out a seat for her.

She slowly teared her gaze away from korden, wondering what the man had against her.

Hermione strolled over to the seat servyn had pulled out for her. "Thank you." She mouthed to him before sitting down.

Servyn replied with a toothy grin before shooting daggers at korden through his eyes, and Korden exhale lightly as if giving in to Servyn's warning.

Luckily Hermione did not catch that small interaction, her eyes were busy taking in the sight of the display on the table. If there is anything unexpected about her, it is her love for food. Though it was not to the extent of salivating anywhere she sees a hot meal.

Controlling her craving, Hermione waited for Servyn to eat first since he was the one with the royal blood amoungst them, but unexpectedly she saw Cesarean begin to dig in without a care in the world.

'Wow.' She inwardly commented.

She would have thought they were brothers but they had no such resemblance.

Furthermore, the king did not have any concubine and he had only one son, Servyn Graylen.

"You should eat Hermione, I know you must be hungry from the long walk." Servyn said with a playful grin.

Hermione zeroed her eyes on him. Something was telling her he had other reasons for making her walk all the way to the castle.

"You did that intentionally, did you not, Your Highness?" Hermione questioned.

"Oops, I have been caught." He commented, running his sharp edged tongue against his teeth with a playful grin.

Hermione couldn't believe this. "If I may ask Your Highness, and what is your reason for that?"

"Well knowing you, you could come here as per my orders but would not touch anything." He Reasoned.

And he was right. If not for the long walk she had while coming here, and not to forget her exhaustion after cleaning and washing with Rosalie, she wouldn't have even agreed to take a sit with them.

Hermione shook her head at his childish method. "Sensible indeed." She remarked.

"You will have to get used to this if you want to be close to Servyn." Cesarean said after a chuckle.

Closed to him? No, she was not planning on being closed to him. Instead she plans on being far away from him. So far that she would not even be able to remember how he looks like.

Hermione simply smiled at Cesarean statement without giving a reply.

Korden on the hand kept silent while they converse. He found the girl strange. Too strange and it irked him. He kept throwing scornful gazes at her.

Turning to Cesarean to see if he too noticed anything strange about the girl but he only received a meaningful glare from him. He knew exactly what that meant. He decided to focus his attention on his food instead.

"Are you enjoying the meal?" Servyn asked her.

"I am indeed, Yo…"

"I remember telling you to stop calling me that." Servyn cut her off.

"What?" Korden immediately loosed his calm.

All eyes suddenly turned to him.

"You told her to drop the formalities?" Korden inquired looking perplexed.

"Yes. Do you have a problem with that?" Servyn asked back at him, arcing his right brow upward.

"Great!" Korden exclaimed without a reply.

Hermione could tell clearly that the red haired man did not like her and she wondered why. She tried to remember if she came across him before and maybe offended him, but the was no such moment down her memory lane. Besides, if she had met him before she would have remembered because his looks stand out too much to forget about.

They continued their dinner in silence.

Later, when they all had finished, korden was the first to leave, saying he had court matters to attend to. After a while Cesarean followed, after exchanging a few glances with Servyn.

It was now left with the two of them under the gazebo.

Suddenly Hermione started to feel itchy in her palms. It was quiet in a beautiful scenery but yet still it was still uncomfortable.

She looked up at him but she later regretted her actions as she nearly fell from her chair, seeing him staring back at her with those grey orbs he possessed

"Let's go for a walk." It was not a request, it was an order.

He stood and she followed suit. They got into a small path that was decorated with plenty flowers of different colors growing on each side to form a small bush.

They further they got in, the more amazed she got. It was an entirely different garden. This one looked more wild than the other, showing that it is not being properly attended to. Still yet it retained it's beauty.

"May I ask who have such great taste in flowers, Your Highness?" Hermione asked as she fiddled with one in her fingers.

"The gardener, Mrs Suzanne. I know she would love to meet a fellow flower lover like yourself." Servyn said.

"That's right, I would like to know the names of a few here that I am foreign to."

"Is it okay if I pluck one?" She turned to him with a gleam in her eyes.

Servyn smiled but did not reply, instead he strode forward.

Hermione watched him as he made his way to stand next to her. He gazed down at her before plucking the flowers with his own hand.

Hermione was confused, she looked up at him with parted lips, and eyes that screamed confusion at his actions. When he took a few steps closer, the closeness suddenly began to make her feel breathless.

That only worsened when he brought his hand that held the flower down to her face. Hermione stared steadily at his eyes as he fixed the flower on her hair, using his other hand to sweep the hair behind her ear.

Thump! Thump!

The erratic movement of her heart beat made her feel like it was about to explode. She wanted moving away but every ounce of strength in her body failed her, her muscles denied her, even her mind too betrayed her as it lacked what to do.

For sure, he would have also heard the loud beating of her chest, because the energy itself shocked her.

Just when she thought that nothing could be worse than this, he brought down his sinfully beautiful eyes to hold hers. Those eyes that she was willing to get lost in.

Lord! This man is dangerous!
