"The horses are unable to move further, ladies, I think they might be injured." The coachmen yelled from the front. His shout was accompanied by another groan of pain from the horses.
Ottilia, who was very much aware of the reason for their groans, cleared her throat awkwardly and pulled a dazed Hermione by her hands.
When they both carefully alighted the carriage, She walked towards the horses and coachmen with Hermione's hand still intact with hers.
"Thank you very much for your help, sirs. We will take it from here." Ottilia immediately told them, taking Hermione's hand hauling her towards a direction before they could respond.
"But His Highness..." One of them hastily spoke, stopping them midway.
"His Highness knows I will do nothing to her. And besides, I'm pretty much conversant with this place, lest you forget, it's my home town." She said confidently, adding a wry smile to the corner of her lips.
