At Long Last

Servyn and Cesarean arrived at Westerly Isle by the dark noon, almost nearing twilight.

Cesarean had suggested they go to the Royal Castle but Servyn brushed pass the notion, countering it with a notion of his own.

"Scretz Kendoire will not hold a captive in his Castle of pride, more so of a human."

"You have a point, knowing how deep his hatred for the human race goes, I hope he has not done anything to her yet."

The mere mention of it got his blood boiling, his hand clenched tightly on the reins of his strong horse.

Like that, the fastened their paces towards the not-so-hidden secret layout of the outrageous Demon King.

In no time, they arrived and three guards placated the entrance in loyal duty. Guarding it like their soul was in there.

But that did not flicker their resolve, they rode in steady pace towards the entrance and as though the guards had sensed danger, their hands held on to the hilt of their swords.
