Chapter 13

Three days after the last events.

When Tsunade saw that a simple eagle had almost killed Yuta, she got rid of her secret ideas about not sending him to the ninja academy and decided that he should at least have the strength to protect himself.

So after Yuta was discharged from the hospital one day, Tsunade brought him home and began teaching him the basic martial arts of the Senju clan.

After Yuta was woken up early for breakfast, he came to the table and found fragrant barbecues piled up on the table. Yuta was suspicious that they had been eating better food lately than before, but he knew it wasn't his place to decide how Tsunade should spend her money.

After Tsunade finished eating, she leaned back and stretched happily.

"It was definitely worth selling the house."

Yuta was lying on the dining table, exhausted from overeating, when he heard Tsunade's words and asked to be sure.

"Didn't these houses used to belong to family members? Are you sure about selling?"

Tsunade wondered how Yuta could know such details and then guessed that someone was being blunt. "Yes, but what difference does it make? All the houses belong to me now. I'm glad I didn't sell them before, if I had I would have gone gambling with all the money."

Yuta pondered for a while whether Tsunade was no longer gambling because she was attached to him, then decided that this was impossible. Tsunade was probably dreaming of gambling even as she said she was happy not to gamble.

As Yuta sighed with concern for this desperate woman's future, Tsunade jumped up, having already digested what she had eaten, and said that it was time to start practicing for the day.

Yuta cursed inwardly as he looked at the brightness of the sun shining through the window. Why was the sun so bright even though winter was not yet over?

Tsunade grabbed Yuta, who had no intention of moving, by the leg and in one swift motion lifted him onto her shoulder and dragged him outside.

For the next half hour, Yuta practiced throwing shuriken under Tsunade's supervision.

At the end of the half-hour exercise, Tsunade looked at Yuta lying on the ground in a sweat and ruffled her hair in anger, fortunately, the target board drawn on the tree was mostly covered with shuriken.

Yuta opened his profile screen, wondering why the sun was bothering him so much. He honestly didn't expect to find the answer to his question on his profile screen, but surprisingly, the answer to his question was actually there.

When Yuta saw that the question marks about his race had disappeared and he could now see his race in full, he looked up excitedly and took another look at his profile screen reflected in the dirt.

Tsunade saw that the boy was about to go crazy from the heat and decided to end the physical part of today's training here. Meanwhile, Yuta touched the mark in the corner of his race, and important information about his race was injected into his head.

Yuta learned that while his new race gave him some traits that he would have to discover on his own, in return his physical attributes were weakened by being exposed to light. Light also greatly reduced his stamina and endurance.

Yuta realized why he had been feeling more energetic at night and exhausted in the morning lately, at the same time he heard Tsunade's voice.

"Sigh... That should be enough to enter the ninja academy."

As soon as Yuta heard Tsunade's words, he realized what she was planning.

"You're going to enroll me in the ninja academy so you can gamble comfortably. Right?"

Tsunade approached Yuta with a smile, and suddenly she hammered his head.

"Fool! If I wanted to gamble, I would go gamble. Your body looks like a five-year-old boy, even though your real age is very young. After the old monkey saw you, he told me to enroll you in the ninja academy. He thinks you have potential because you can face a ninja eagle and survive on your own."

Or he's been watching us train all day using the telescope technique, Yuta thought, but he didn't say it out loud.

Seeing that Yuta didn't answer, Tsunade continued, "And while you're there, you can see your real brother, but remember, if he asks for your real identity, don't tell him. I will also use the name Yuta Senju when I enroll you in school."

When Yuta's mind had developed enough, Tsunade had already told him the truth about Sakumo and his relationship with Hatake. Or rather, the truth as she knew it.

Yuta slowly stood up and followed Tsunade into the house, using his arm to block the sun's rays.

"I'll go and enroll you in school today, and you can start school tomorrow. I'll pick up dinner on the way, so you can practice the chakra extraction technique I gave you yesterday until I get back."

"Aye Tsunade-sama!"

Tsunade was about to leave the house when she heard Yuta's sarcastic words and stepped back inside. There was nowhere left for Yuta to run and all he could do was hope that Tsunade's blows didn't hurt too much.

As Tsunade left the house and slowly made her way to the ninja academy, Yuta took the opportunity to run to his room and close the curtains.

After looking at them for a while, he realized that they were translucent and would not be enough to block the telescope technique. After lifting his single bed from one end and placing it in front of the window with all his might, he finally sat down in his chair in his room with a sigh of relief.

Yuta had been waiting for Tsunade to leave him alone for a long time, but she had decided to live the life of a neet and was waiting by his side all day.

Yuta brushed his hair back before reaching his tiny hand out into the space in the center of the room and said "Arise" in the most un-childish voice he could muster. And after a short pause, he added, "Bitch."

Immediately a small pool of shadow appeared in the center of the room and out of it came a girl of about 10-12 years old wearing a pink kimono.
