CHAPTER 1
"No father, I'm not getting married,At least not to him."She looked up at her who's having a pleading face on.
A few days ago,her father told her about the trouble the kingdom is about to face. A rival kingdom,Valeria,raged war on their kingdom for apparently no reason.
Jenovia,A kingdom is a kingdom at the eastern side of the land. Though Jenovia isn't as big as the other four or maybe five kingdoms... it's well known by the prominent people for it's rich soil and sunlight which the other kingdoms barely have. The people of Jenovia are sweet people even though some barely have proper roofs above their heads. They don't cause trouble, murder and stealing is almost non existent.
Lilith looked at her father who a few hours ago received a letter from the king of Valeria. In the letter,the king threatened to rage war on them if he doesn't give off his daughter for marriage. At first,her father, Leonard was reluctant to give off his daughter who's barely of age for marriage,but he weighed the pros and cons and concluded that it wasn't such a bad idea right?
"Look dear,I really can't afford getting on the king's bad side. I don't know why he suddenly wants war,but I do know that our kingdom can't win if a war is suddenly raged on us."he said looking at his 14 year old daughter.
Lilith looked at her father with a ' I can't believe you' expression and said "Father,I can't believe you'll give me off for marriage to someone who's twice my age."
"I know sweetie but you have to unders-" just then a little maid walked into her chamber with her head bent low not daring to look at the father daughter pair.With a nervous tone she said..
" sowwy to disturb you your Highness,the prince is seeking your presence."sighing,the king got up and looked at the cute little girl,who had her head bent low.
"where's he?"
"in his chamber your Highness" He nodded and waved his hands signalling the maid to leave which she did obviously...
He looked at his daughter who had an angry expression on but looked cute in his eyes. He gently pat her head like a child and smiled when she slapped his hands away. "I'm not a child,father"she said with a wronged expression which only made the king chuckle.
"well you'll always be my little girl, always" he said and walked out of her chamber.
"Humpf! little girl my foot"she scoffed and layed flat on the huge be that'll be able to fit five fat people and each will be comfortable.
