Chapter 16- Sleeping like I'm dead

Saski grabs Kiyoshi's hand before taking him towards his room, "Ah, Calm down Saski!!" Kiyoshi exclaims with fear but this has no effect on him as he runs towards his room while still holding his best friend's hand, After a brief two minutes of them running they both finally get to his room. Saski opens the door and Kiyoshi looks with excitement as to how "Plain it looks?!" all his excitement drained away at that very moment, "Aayo what the heck is this?" Kiyoshi says while still examining Saski's room, "Umm I didn't have much time to decorate it." he replies hesitantly but Kiyoshi just looks at his room and says that he can help him as he has some decorations for my room. Saski agrees but says that first, they'll be setting his room, and afterward they'll come to Saski's room. He agrees and they both then make their way to get all the boxes from the Main Hall. While going there Saski asks him to explain what all happens during his entrance tasks and Kiyoshi replies with him taking time accordingly as he's thinking about everything, "Ah um, It wasn't something to be proud of exactly but I'll tell you. The first task was related to my mental strength I was asked a question which was really deep." before Kiyoshi could say anything further Saski interrupts and says, "That's what she said! haha." They both burst out laughing and while laughing he says "Okay yeah I don't blame you, I did put it the wrong way." making them laugh even more. After laughing forever they stop and when they both look at each other for the second time they again burst out laughing to the point where Kiyoshi can't even stand straight and he takes support from a tree nearby to keep him standing on the other hand Saski who is still laughing already has tears in his eyes, Slowly and steadily they both calm down and returning back to the topic. "So yeah, It was a question related to my existence, and also something with my vision or the subconscious mind was triggered which cause me to see some disturbing thing from the night we were attacked. After that we proceeded to the second Task which was really something like a Daffodil was created and I had to bring back Nozomi her key which she never really gave to the Daffodil." Saski wiping his happy tears also says that he was given the same first task but in the second Task there were some modifications, Kiyoshi asks him what modifications he's referring to and he replies that "For me it's was a bit different the Daffodil was given a weapon and I was asked to bring her back the weapon." leaving Kiyoshi in pure confusion "What?! and how'd you manage to do that?" he asked with a concerned look on his face and he to this Saski says that "While he was fighting he noticed that the area around the Daffodil heart was a bit weak so when he tried to hit the Daffodil there it worked and it instantly dropped to the floor." Kiyoshi breathes a deep sigh of relief after hearing all this and as their talk goes on passing their time, soon enough they both reach the Main Hall to pick up all the boxes under Kiyoshi's name.

Kiyoshi isn't sure about anything when he entered the Main Hall but Saski offers to get his stuff for him and he agrees, While Saski's gone to get all his belongings to his room Kiyoshi notices some students going towards the dorm rooms of the Sapphires and the only thing he could notice among all of them was someone with long blue hair going with a group of four people including themselves. Saski returns shortly and Kiyoshi tells him about the student he saw, "Oh I see, they are the second year student. You'll meet them soon and the one you're talking about with long blue hair is Tofu. He is experienced in sword fighting." He replies to the question Kiyoshi asked him leaving him distraught "That was a guy? wait I thought it was-" before he could finish Saski interrupts and says that "Everyone thought that he was a girl but one You'll meet him I bet you'll go crazy over Tofu and I mean not only him but all the second years are soo good with everything." Kiyoshi is now more than excited to meet all the other students, but Saski now informs him that all his belongings have been placed in his room. Kiyoshi thanked him for this little favor and they both returned to the dorm room so that they could at least make it good enough for the night.

They both soon reached the room and start to unpack the boxes. Saski also helps him with the things he needs a bit of help with, "Saski can you help me move the bed." "Okay sure." the conversation continues "Wait help me with the study table also." "Oh okay" and so on it continues "Can you bring me the hammer also I need help to pick this up." "Okay sir, on my way" they both continued to help each other. "Wait no!! I wanted it to be here Saski." "Oh shoot wait lemme fix it real quick." some mistakes can be fixed, Right readers? Well after spending good two hours setting the room they both have made it more than better for the night. "It's almost done Kiyoshi," Saski says with excitement and Kiyoshi agrees but he stops short and mentions that his room is still left. Saski chuckles and they both make their way to Saski's room for giving it a bit of fixing up, "Kiyoshi I guess let's change the bed's position, and also you by chance still have the hammer?" he says "Oh yeah okay, and yeah I still have the hammer wait a second." The work then continues but this time at Saski's room as it, "is Boring." to look at according to Kiyoshi.

After some time they both are done and now feeling tired to the very last bone in their bodies they both drop down on the bed, While taking some rest Saski's stomach grumbles followed by Kiyoshi's leaving both of them laughing, "I think we should eat first cause we both missed our lunch and it's going to be eight soon." Saski agreeing with Kiyoshi prompts them to get up and eat something. They both have a good time together and while eating they both continued to talk about one or the other things also laughing at small things like best friends would do. Saski then tells Kiyoshi about the third student who's with them, "Yeah I know nothing about that student." Kiyoshi says by asking Saski a question and he replies telling him, "Her name is Emiko, She isn't around because of some serious injuries she had from her last fight with one of the 20 Dark's curses. She won't be able to join us for the next month or so as it's already been a long time since she'd been under that attack?!" Kiyoshi feels sorry for her and hopes that she'll get well before his mood shifts because he felt bad. Saski noticing this then decides to tell him more about the third-year student, "She is really strong and was here since she was born." leaving Kiyoshi in surprise. Still, Saski not knowing much prevents him from understanding everything about her. Soon they both get done with their food and they mutually decided to watch a scary movie before returning to their respective rooms. On the way to the dorm room, Kiyoshi couldn't help but laugh when the flashbacks from when Saski watched a scary movie made him so scared to the point where he almost passed out because he saw his shoes under the bed and thought it to be a ghost.

"You sure you'll be fine after watching a scary movie?" Kiyoshi asks giving Saski the last chance to give up but as he expected Saski wants them to watch it so Kiyoshi doesn't say much but he is sure that after the movie ends it'll be a whole new tantrum from Saski's side about him being scared. Soon they reached the room and decided to watch a newly released horror movie which was said to be a really scary one. As they both settled down and the move began to play Kiyoshi knew Saski was already scared. Throughout the movie, Saski was on a whole Rollercoaster of emotions, "What?! why is she going there.", "Nah Nah Nah I can't watch this.", "Aghhhhh!!!", " Help Her! there is someone behind her!!" and at last when the movie ends Saski says, "Okay yeah that wasn't scary at all." Kiyoshi looks at Saski with a poker face when he said the last sentence after a whole ride of emotions while watching the movie. "Says the dude who watched the whole movie with his eyes covered with his hands, Dumbass!" Kiyoshi says making fun of Saski and he replies that he wasn't like that at all. Kiyoshi's eyes suddenly stumble upon the watch and he notices the time he says that it's soon going to be eleven and they both should sleep as tomorrow onwards it'll be busy for both of them. They both soon bid their good nights and return to their respective rooms. While sleeping Saski stuffs himself with pillows around as he's scared and on the other hand Kiyoshi sets an alarm before returning to the bed and instantly dozing off as if he's dead tired. Saski also doesn't take long before sleep like a baby and soon this beautiful day also comes to an end accompanied by Saski snoring loudly.
