Outside Morville, Iva moved further away from the castle with each step. She didn't know where she was going or what she would do when she got there, but she knew she wanted to be as far away from Morville as possible.
Her anger was pent up about a lot of events, and it started with her family breaking apart because of Doom and the demoness trying to hurt Layla if it wasn't for Kael. Iva closed her eyes, rubbing her temples tiredly.
Doom was her enemy; she had brought disaster into her own home. Though Stillwort wasn't Iva's real father, he gave her a home and protected her. Iva couldn't deny her feelings anymore; she was worried about the man not Julia or the twins, but Stillwort. She wished she could get him over to Kael's side.
Iva halted in her steps, rubbing her tongue over her fangs. She remembered how the young man had stepped forward to save her that day at the inn.
