stare from afar

"Madam,wake up it's morning". Efe said to her twelve year old daughter who was relent to leave the bed.

"Five more minutes, just five more please mummy".Adele groan from the bed as she rolled around to avoid the rays of sunshine.

When she heard her mum retreating foot steps she let a sigh of relief,but it felt strange because her mum never leaves her to sleep in the morning past six am. Adele felt incoming danger,the red alert was already ringing "danger" "danger".

Immediately she sat up from bad,she felt something cold run through her, from her head down before she jumped up from the bed in a very high speed.

"mummy!!!,what was that for".Adele asked her mum who had a smile on her face.

"My God!!,my hands just slips"Efe replied sacatistly at her daughter who looked drenched from her head down.

Adele cried without tears as she looked at her mum in annoyance,then she said "you Know you could have just asked me to stand up like every other mother,but nooo you're always different".

"Of course,I am one of a kind".Efe replied to her daughter as she winked at her

"Go have your bath and get dress or you will be late for school,not to mention your first day of Forder more school".Efe said as she walked towards the kitchen.

"okay mummy", Adele replied in her hyped self .

Adele walked inside the bathroom, when she smelled something mouth watering,noodles and egg sauce.

After having her bath she came out dancing, walking towards the room she shared with her elder sister Sonia.

"Mummy!! am getting late, help Adele dress up already"I heard my sister shout from the sitting room.

She was to walk Adele to school since it was the same direction to her work place although it was still far away,she would take a bus at the next bus stop close to Adele's school.

When Efe was done she patted her back one more time before she said "makes friends,I won't allows be around you, so be good ok".

"hmm ok mummy". Adele answer as her sister walked in she took it as her queue to get her school stuffs.Before leaving the house both girls gave a peck each to their mum before they left.

"love you babies"she shouted as Adele and her sister waved at her.when she saw they were out of sight, she turned around and walked inside the house to get ready for the busy day ahead.
