Chapter 12: The daughter of Allard

In a place where no one cared for her feelings, It was a blessing to meet this person who was exclusively hers and was ready to do anything for her sake. But only Sofia knew that she would never use this person for any ill intention no matter what people say.

No matter how cruel anyone is to her, it gives her no right to take this person for granted. She was glad to have Mary. And she was confident that as long as she is around Mary...no one has the guts to mess her.

Mary took a sigh of relief upon knowing that no one bullied her and that it was just an accident. Still...she was worried about her.

" It's a good thing that no one harassed you or bullied you. Still...you will have to keep practicing martial arts. Knowing how bad your luck is these days, there's no way I can just have you alone on your own ", Just like how the sun is always ready to give its shine to everyone, Mary was ready to be always with Sofia.

Their bond was very special, they were more than friends and almost like sisters in disguise. Just like how friends have a proud moment, they have it too...but they were more efficient in having arguments and fights with each other.

Sofia only smiled and patted Mary's hand, she knows how special this relationship is, and those...she can't lose this person.

" I understand. But you are too hard on me. I am doing my best to surpass those kids in your gang. So please...have mercy on me ".

Sofia begged her with her hands close together in front of her face, showing how sincere she is right now.

Just as said before, Mary is a person holding a black belt in martial arts. She is efficient and is a very crude person. In this whole university, there could barely be someone who can defeat her. Since she is strong on her own, there are countless enemies she has made till now...many of them won't defeat her and show her how lowly she is and how she should behave in front of them...who are the rule makers of this society.

Mary has always been careful while making friends and is a very observant person. If someone is to act in front of her or lie to her, it will take her no time to remove their facade.

It's only some people who she has by her side. Sofia on the other hand is a very special person who stays in her heart. Sounds like a lover's speech, right?

But it's true...

Since many troublesome people around her are always ready to give her a hard time and want to take her down. Mary can't help but feel worried about all her friends who are close to her and very precious.

Thus, she started giving them the training to protect themselves from the offenders.

And she was harsher with Sofia compared to everyone in the gang and is different when doing her job.

Mary couldn't help but care for Sofia. Until...she saw the unfamiliar piece of clothing tied around her waist. She wondered who it was...

" Sofia! What's with this jacket? Whose jacket is this? ", Very curious Mary couldn't resist herself but wanted to know who was daring enough to put their possession on her one and only Sofia.

At her mention, Sofia looked at the jacket hanging around her waist. Even though it was hanging around her waist, she could still smell the scent coming from it.

She couldn't help but chuckle that such a sturdy man loves the scent of rose which is not so manly. Without a doubt, Sofia was exposed to Mary who was observing every expression of her from the side.

Seeing that she was happy in some sense, Mary put her hand around Sofia's waist and pulled her closer to take a closer look at this friend of her who had that invisible smile on her face.

" Be honest with me, don't hide a single thing. Come on! start...", Said Mary in a seductive tone as she grew closer to Sofia's delicate and sensitive ear.

Sofia was exposed but embarrassed at the same time. No...she was not embarrassed because Mary had asked her about that guy. Rather...she was embarrassed because Mary was so close to her and was holding that intimate position which may give everyone the wrong idea about them.

Without a second thought, Sofia pushed her away, but she did it gently to not hurt Mary's sentiments or her feelings.

Mary was not fragile or weak-hearted either to be hurt by such a small action that indicates nothing but the will that she was embarrassed and wants to relax a bit.

Sofia pulled her body away from Mary and sat straight as she started talking about what happened this morning and how she turned into such a shredded state.

" I was riding a bicycle after the tragic light changed to green. But an unknown person appeared in front of the ride, I became nervous and changed the route in rushed. And...the bike slipped and I fell down along with the bicycle. A junior of mine saw me and wrapped this jacket around my waist since my clothes were tattered a bit. I even urged him to take me to the class...and he helped me. Such a cute kid he was ".

Sofia told her everything and now Mary was smiling like a little kid who has got something in her hands...like a precious thing from someone. She grinned like she was looking through Sofia's soul.

" Such a cute kid he must be since you are saying so. Now that you have described him as a savior and sweet kid, I really wanna see him and see how cute and sweet he is ", Mary believed everything about her story.

But she didn't believe the fact that there was a savior or a sweet child in her story.

Till now...many people have coke after Sofia. What does she have that everyone gets attracted to her? Isn't that quite appealing and clear?

She is Sofia Allard, the eldest daughter of the Allard Family. Her family is one of the most prominent families in the whole city. She...who holds the title of the eldest daughter is no joke.

No one in this city doesn't know about the Allard family. This family alone holds much possession that others can't even think about acquiring.

Since she is the daughter of the Allard Family, her status is very high and everyone wants to be in her good books.

She...as the main person from the Allard family, attracts too much attention and it becomes unnecessary many times, to the point that Sofia feels disgusted and wants to stay away from everyone.

There are many times she thought how nice it would have been if her face was removed from the family profile available on the forums around the city. Unfortunately...it was impossible.

And...it was one of the reasons why she couldn't live like a normal person and had always been under great supervision.

Even her family doesn't give her that importance but these annoying people do.

As they were between conversations, the professor did his entry into the classroom, everyone went silent and the class began.

She was really lucky to have arrived on time. Because as described before, that cold-hearted professor punished those two students who came late to his lecture. He not only made them stand outside of the class during the whole lecture but even told them to not attend his lecture the next time and study on their own.

Mary and Sofia attended the next two more lectures after that and soon it was a lunch period. Mary dragged Sofia along with her to the university canteen and both queued in line to get their lunch.

And it was the same moment when a guy pushed his friend towards Sofia with that same intention that every other guy has.

Sofia was surprised for a moment but regained her posture and looked at the gut standing in front of her.

This action alone received everyone's attention as everyone presented in the canteen started staring at them.

" Hey! What's going on here? is this another love confession? ".

The freshers were very excited and curious to know about the senior's matters. And it was quite admirable that a guy was showing so much courage to show his love and affection to the girl he loves.

Where freshers were excited to know how the matter will unfold. The senior and the sophomore were only looking for a drama. To them...it was just like any other day where the guy was trying to convince his love while the girl...

The guy was nervous as his palms were sweating from the anxiety, he stepped forward while his legs shook unsightly and he looked towards Sofia with that soft gaze...

" Sofia! I...I have come to like you for a year now. Would you be my girlfriend? ".
