Chapter 2

By now it was already 6:30 and Julia was waiting outside for her friend Lora, but Julia couldn't help but wonder if she would ever see that man again. His name was Eros, what a strange name.

As Julia was thinking about the strange person, Lora broke Julia from her thoughts, "Helloooo, my darling! Are you ready?" Lora smiled at Julia, an exciting aroma surrounding her.

"Hi there, and yes ma'am I am ready! Are you ready?" Julia joked around before Lola nodded and started walking away. Lora pointed her hand upward then ahead indicating for Julia to come on.

"Anyways, what will 'this so-called' party be like?" Julia examined as they strolled away from her apartment, "Some party for work, now let's go so we don't be late!" Lora ran to her car, giggling as she does so, "As you say!" Julia grinned, rushing into the bright blue classy car.

The night was stunning, Julia lives in Los Vegas. As the moon laid across the tall buildings, Julia wondered about the man she saw earlier, she can't explain but she somehow feels interested in the man. I mean, who couldn't? He was a handsome man with manners.

As her mind was filled, once again Lora interrupted her thoughts, "Wake up! We're here!" Lora gazed at the golden elegant building.

"Woah," Julia gaped, "That's fancy." Her fingertips reaching to open the door, fresh breeze blowing on her face. Ah, nice air, "Let's go." Lora spoke, walking to the large entrance, opening the door with both hands.

And as soon as it was opened, the light gleamed at the two girls. The place was remarkably fancy, people in gowns and suits, a big chandelier, golden with glass stairs on each side of the walls and lots of food.

"Lora, what kind of job do you work at?" Julia gasped as she glanced over at the girl standing beside her as they walked in, "Nothing too fancy, a company but I never expected it to be like this-" Lora pointed at the fancy things.

"Well, let's have fun here I guess," Julia examined the place, "I'm going for the food, see you later!" Julia marched off to the food, leaving poor Lora to do who knows what.

"Now this is what I'm talking about!" Julia squealed, practically drooling over all the food.

As she was stuffing her mouth with food, "The food is pretty good, isn't it?" a deep voice talked behind her shoulder, Julia turned to the man, "Oh!" she yelled, mouth full of food and eyes wide, "It's you! Ero, right?"

"Correct, Julia?" Ero asked, his smile reaching his eyes, "Yes, sir! Do you work here?" Julia questioned, swallowing the rest of her food before smiling.

"No, just a friend invited me here. What about you, Julia?" Ero leaned against the white concrete elegant pole, "Nope, the same thing. What do you do? You kinda look like a model if I'm being honest with you."

"Ahh, not much. But I wish." he chuckled, "What do you do?" he threw the same question back.

"Actually, I work at the library. It's very peaceful there, sometimes I get to fall asleep with no one to bother me." the petite girl smiled, staring up at the attractive man.

But little did she know, Cupid was achieving his plans.
